@raindrop shielding is something that I usually associate with being an empath and dealing with other people. Up to now, I have only had a couple of visions/dreams that have been really disturbing. Now that I am meditating every day, it is still mostly positive but there are occasionally things that I see that are disturbing/upsetting. I will try to be more mindful of setting an intention when starting my meditations to shield myself and only see things that serve the highest good. Thanks to everyone who weighed in! It is helpful to know how all of you deal with these things.
Just briefly, today’s meditation showed me someone being unwell and his family turning their backs on him when asked by staff for their assistance. Basically, there is no love there and they seemed indifferent to his plight. I just found it very sad, even for such an unpleasant person, to not have the love or caring of their family. The graphic nature of what was shown was the unpleasant part of the vision. I can definitely do without that kind of stuff! Shields up! Shields up!!!!

I wonder if your dream is a manifestation of an emerging trend where people of Asian descent are being bullied or ignored while in distress due to fear over the current virus. In reality, the absolute worst form of the same groupthink we're experiencing these days. We are, in the end, all human, all part of the same family.
@JackofHearts, I can see the parallels with what you were describing and it is an interesting idea. In this case in particular, it was very specific people that came up in the meditation. It is possible that it could mean both things and is well worth bearing in mind. Thanks for you input!
@baba I've been thinking about your incredible dream posted in the dream thread. It provides a picture of our world right now, when the U.S. Senate went rogue from democracy and handed power to a dark dictator. It is packed with messages and symbolism about the situation we find ourselves in. It’s your dream and has special messages for you personally, but it is also a transpersonal dream to help awaken the rest of us.
It reads like a Greek myth, like the scene in the movie, Pan’s Labyrinth, which takes place during the Nazi era when a little girl saves a child from the Nazis. The little girl has a task, so typical in myths about the Hero’s journey. She has to descend into the lair of a monster. Trump’s lewd and gluttony remark reminds of the monster.
The fact that you didn’t know at first that your “boss” was working for Trump is interesting
Much of the dream, including this part with the boss and crossing into Mexico, the handcuffs going on and off and the feeling that you needed to escape – all sounds like you were empathically living in the skin of all of those victimized by Trump and his enablers. Mostly it sounded like the horrific plight of immigrants at the southern border, but any immigrants or visitors from other countries could be experiencing this fear now.
You are the hero of this dream journey, which feels like a soul journey. And you are seeing what you (and all of us) are up against.
The dream also feels like a spirit initiation that was given to you because of your high vibrational work as a Seer. It is instruction from spirit guides and is worth further contemplation from you and from all of us.
They are not telling us we are doomed but they are telling us to take a good look at the situation we are ALL facing. They are also showing you and others that we are in a vehicle that while traveling through a dark terrain right now, is dedicated to the greening of our earth.
Teal is close to the color of the throat chakra (blue green). It is halfway between the heart and the third eye. It is where we emit messages from spirit to our Collective.
You are a messenger of spirit, Baba, and there are others here as well with you. We are dedicated to speaking out about the light, to lighting up the dark with our words.
The limo color is also the color of new growth. It reminds me of the greening of the earth, of friends of the earth. Of new life. And even the Green New Deal.
Interesting that you took a cushier back seat in the limo. There are many on the front lines fighting this dark world cult of Trump. Light workers work from many different places. Perhaps you’ve chosen at this time to sit on your cushion in the back of the situation and tell us what you see. You can do so much good that way and you already have.
In all the dream is an assessment of the depths of the darkness where we are at this moment but the color of the limo tells me that we are in the vehicle that will take us to healing. Inspite of handcuffs you are in a journey of healing and greening. But we must not underestimate how dark these people are and how low they will go to hold power.
@jeanne-mayelle Thank you for your interpretation. That gives me a lot to think about. It was interesting that I had the dream right before I woke up on Saturday and did not yet know what the outcome of the senate’s proceedings from the day before was. It felt like it was an important enough dream that I felt compelled to write it down and share it. The back seat position with the cushion may also be a metaphor for being connected to the US but also living at a distance away from the daily goings on there geographically. Thank you for your supportive and kind words. I will continue to think about what useful meanings the dream can provide.
As an aside and a question to those with more experience, what does one do with unpleasant visions that sometimes arise during meditations? I had a doozy of one related to the subject (person) of this thread and it was quite disturbing on a human level.
For me, I find sharing it with someone, whether in person, online or on the phone, helps dispel the disturbing aspects, and I make sure to ground myself before such sharing. You could put it over in the Dreams/Consciousness/Prophecy section as its own thread, perhaps with a disclaimer that it is disturbing, and let others decide if they want to receive what you're sharing or not.
I'm one of those people who would rather know something awful than to be left in the dark, but I understand the flip side of that. Know that if you decide to share it with us, I'll be there to catch you, no fear (and no judgment). Be sure to also put a disclaimer that this was a "dream" or "vision" and not coming from anyone or anything "in real life", so it's not misinterpreted as threatening against Individual No. 1.
A message for this darkness, and the light that will arise, in the spirit of tonight's meditation. Like Baba's dream, we can face this dark situation with open eyes and see more clearly a beautiful outcome:
