LOL!!! They are going to eat each other.
Last night before I went to bed, I saw angels enveloping DC and over the entire country. I thanked the angels for protecting us and our democracy. I fell asleep with a smile on my face – literally. And I woke up with that FDR song, “Happy Days Are Here Again” running through my head! I understand that’s a stretch – our country is so fractured, and we have a long way to go. But boy, how close we came to losing our democracy. Had the Mad King actually been smarter and not deranged, we could have lost it. I'm so grateful we are still standing.
As a final, fitting tribute to that Mad King, here is the latest from Randy Rainbow, a musical parody from the Broadway hit, "Rent":

The New Yorker made a video of foreign correspondents' views of the U.S. They interviewed top journalists from the UK, Canada, the Netherlands, France and Africa whose beat is the U.S.
It provides a sobering perspective. The most poignant description came from one international journalist who said the U.S. most resembles those countries that are failed states.
Another spoke of the huge disparity in income, the extreme cost of health care and education here.
If you hit a paywall, I can post some of the transcript.
At the end of the year I felt my ancestors release the ties of history and patterns we have all collectively worked on. It became a cheering squad anytime I felt into the ancestral field.
That means my quest that began in 2014 to research them and know all the lines that I was born into and their suffering and misdeeds is metaphysically shifted. Finally my guilt and apology began to ease. Freedom at last, to not be burdened by an unknown event.
I feel support for whatever direction this country and I decide to take.
If you have a lingering suffering or guilt, your release of it can only contribute to the rebuilding about to begin.
On the eve of T's last day in office, The New Yorker, posts a send-off poem by Jay Martel:
My favorite lines are the last two:
Make America Great Again
(simply by going away).
“Make America Great Again,”
Media-hungry Attention-seeker Growls Audibly.
Many Americans Gather Attentively.
Manic Antagonizer—Galvanizing Anomaly?
Months Along, Gripes Abound—
Mini-handed Authoritarian Governs Awfully!
Many Americans Go Ailing,
Multi-conspiracy Adopter Goes Assailing.
maga Actually (Giving it Away)
Means “All Grovel Around.”
Moronic Autocratic Gasbags Attend,
Menacing, Aggressive Gun-toters Astound.
Most Americans Grow Agonized.
Months Amble Gradually Along till
Much-Awaited Germy Autumn vote—
Megalomaniac Asshole Gets Ass-smote!
Mister Also-ran Grieves Abjectly,
Mewls At Gathering, Angry-violent.
Marauding Anons Gallop Amok;
Mouthy Autocrat Goes Atypically silent.
Man, Americans Get Aggressive when
Manipulated And Gotten Angry!
Mention A Greater Atrocity
More Awful, Given the Audacity.
Messily-tanned Amoralist, Go Apace!
Mar-A-Gulago Awaits—
Make America Great Again
(simply by going away).
I have felt WONDERFUL all day long. I have noticed I am excited, at peace, and looking forward to what is ahead. I am feeling so blessed and grateful.
The worry of the past 4 years has left and is replace with hope and faith. I am so happy Biden will be President and KNOW he is ushering in a positive age in time.
For the first time in what seems like ages, I saw the American flags encircling the Washington Monument and felt the stirring of gratitude and pride. Pride because of how hard we have worked to get to this point Proud we will have Joe Biden leading us out through the storm into the daylight. It may take awhile, but I already feel the sun on my skin, feel the fresh air in my lungs.
I thank Joe Biden for stepping up and leading us forward, to work toward fulfilling the promise of this great nation.

How interesting! I'd love to hear more about this.

I love what you have written here. Perhaps this can also help our ancestors heal as well. I have believe my ancestors have wanted me to learn about and understand them and the lives they led. Now I have shifted a little from wanting to simply learn about them to thanking them and wanting to keep their stories relevant and meaningful. It is still a process.
Somehow I believe we need to understand the past to make a better future.
@vestralux, you might be interested in this conversation.
This resonates so completely with the Native American community as well, and the healing that can begin with our first Native American (woman!) in the leadership position of the DOI. It will be an enormous relief with very far reaching impact on so many lives, both human and animal, and a looong time coming!
For this I am eternally grateful to our new President.... integrity is a word best served with a heart like his. ?
Yes for me I was able to appreciate the strengths I had not recognized in my inheritance. Many had stories and heartaches to share. Of course, like us a product of their time and families. I stayed with each story that tugged on my heart until the soul appeared and I found the root of the issue and allowed them to have what they felt was missing, if that was the case. I saw the streams of light support me and all descended from them as I shared my light up through the lines and they with me. The threads were repaired and the DNA and emotional patterns refreshed. Some part of me was enraged for the wars fought for democracy and deaths for it to all fall apart. But I felt none of it apart from the initial induction when revolutionary soldiers and civil war soldiers woke me up.(They kept me up for months) It wasn't their sacrifice they were worried about as much as for us to do our part. There were many uncles in many wars that never had kids and I felt they all deserved a prayer for their service and passing.
I agree the range of experiences and families going to work for the administration also have a chance to heal. In the end the earth can renew her contract with willing humans as we begin anew.
I hope this is way in the future, I refuse to look at when but I got the strongest impression indeed Beau will be there with Joe when he passes, with the insurance it will be painless for a life well lived and although he may take a little time saying goodbye in his way, his road home will be as good as any hope. May accountability precede unity.
My grandfather was one of 4 sons. 3 survived into adulthood. Only one, my grandfather, had children.
One of his brothers, my great-uncle, lived until he was 104 years old. He was a WW2 hero and so very brave. He had no children and I have felt it important to carry his character and honor with me. I have never met a more honorable person and hope to write about him so my great-grand children will one day feel a connection to him and understand we all have the opportunity to become the best of humanity, especially in the face of our biggest challenges.
The season is turning. Good for the company Dominion.
Kelli Ward, the Arizona Republican Party chairwoman who has risen to rock-star status by pushing imagined conspiracy theories about how the election was stolen from President Donald Trump, now finds herself in an unenviable position.
She’s being held accountable for the stuff she says.
Ward is among 150 people who have been warned by Dominion Voting Systems that it is coming for those who, without evidence, insisted the company rigged the election for Joe Biden.
Dominion is demanding a retraction from Ward.
Do. I have done genealogy for years and have collected an amazing amount of family history. I am writing the stories down for my children and (someday, hopefully) grandchildren.
Today we begin a new era.
Thank-you for getting me through these four years. We found the light in each other. And now the light will shine in the the White House. ? ? ? ? ? ❤️ ?
I agree, i found this site in 2018 and I must admit first time I saw the predictions I was skeptics about all this, I didn’t believe people could have the ability to see the future.
I began believing when the mid term predictions was proven correct by all of you and have been intrigued ever since, I know the future isn’t always set in stone but I’ve become a believer.
here’s to 4 less dramatic and less stressful years
I am ever so thankful I found this website. I don’t know how I would have been able to cope with the past 4 years. My happiness today is overwhelming and I feel we are so blessed to have Joe and Kamala as our leaders for the next four years.
Let the Great Turning Begin Today!
Biden is a wonderful start to a new Great Turning. His heart is full of empathy. He is a kindhearted humble father figure, a vulnerable, open-hearted man who has survived hardship, yet is bolstered by the strength of his Vice President and so many others, and by us.
Just as our RTF night visions had foretold, he is unwinding the worst of the T policies at the moment of his swearing in with 15 executive orders.
We are back in the Paris Climate Accord!
And he promises so much more to come. We are going to have a lot of work to do to expand the Congress in 2022. But we can do it.
I can feel myself filling up with so many wonderful policy changes I'd like to see, whereas before today, our energy was exhausted with fighting off darkness.
One pet project: I would like to see Liz Warren's $50,000 student loan forgiveness for all of those young people who are tied to corporate jobs that keep them stuck in an archaic and dark system. I would also like to see for those who have more than $50K, a way for them to pay it off by working in socially responsible jobs. In 2018, T and McConnell passed a giveaway to the ultra rich. Biden can take that back and use it to free so many people of corporate slavery.
There is so much good to be done to build the more beautiful world we all know is possible.
For anyone who hears the GOP refrain that we can't afford it and it will break the bank: listen to another refrain: If we invest in ourselves, our people, and our socially responsible allies, rather than throwing the money away to the ultra wealthy, we can make this country and the true economy strong.
Time to start a new thread - the Great Turning!
