@lovendures @yogagirl Me too. I was wondering where dijhandi ? Went. You get used to seeing people and then when you don’t, well I worry. Hoping they’re not sick or that everything is ok with them. If we all walked by each other on the street we probably wouldn’t know each other. But we still care about each other. As others have said before we are human and we aren’t perfect, by far. I totally suffer from the human condition. I’m trying to learn and not mess it up. We all are. I feel today was a good day even though people expressed their hurt. We all expressed that wasn’t the intent. And yes we should all check our words because they have the power to heal and hurt. But I have to say I couldn’t imagine not hearing from you all and reading your thoughts and comments. For me it’s a gift I get to enjoy each day. Love you all, sending you a big hug ?

Does anyone remember the wrath toward Susan Sarandon when she refused to back Hilary and said that perhaps DT was what the country needed to force necessary changes? I was aghast then and just remembered this crucial disagreement while reading Georgia’s thoughts & experiences. There is a strong argument for acknowledging the many personal lessons learned through difficult trials, in addition to the tragic sadness and insecurity of DT, his cold and lonely upbringing, lack of parental love, etc. These are not excuses bc he’s a grown man. Yet, he isn’t. As a former educator of adolescents, he reminds me so much of my former troubled students. Watching him during the debate really was a trigger for some tough memories of deeply disturbed kids. Sigh. I wanted to help or save them all; of course, I couldn’t.
I keep wondering why I feel calm and peace instead of fear and upset. Am I in denial? Is this my optimistic nature pushing through in defiance? I have felt great fear about the future, yet I have this strong feeling that despite the scary events that will occur regarding climate and angry people, we are being catapulted toward a newer humanity, albeit w less humans present. ?
Yes, I’m in a comfortable position until a major hurricane blows over the Cape and topples trees & dunes. But even w these threats, I know a reckoning of sorts is here and I’m powerless to change it. And, for once in my life, it’s okay. That what’s so weird about this calm feeling, an unexpected acceptance of whatever will be.
Offering love and light continues as I put one foot in front of the other, and keep going.

I don't remember that, however in 2016 an acquaintance surprised me when he confided he was voting for T because he actually thought the country needed to be "run off the road into a ditch" (his words) so it could be rebuilt. And now one of Biden's slogans is "Build Back Better".
@jeanne-mayell, I really like your definition of lightworker. I'm comfortable with that. It's not that I believe I have to achieve an angelic state ... I'm not sure what sometimes gives me pause with using that term. I will have to sit with that for a while.

LOL! Although ... I do feel that's an unfair comparison. Thing performs various useful functions for the Addams Family (i.e., a "handservant"), whereas that d#mned hand tweets lies, hate and division, serving no one but himself. Thanks, deetoo! I loved that. I always loved Thing and Lurch. I've never seen the remakes in their entirety. I'm kind of a traditionalist when it comes to movies and don't like many remakes. When I found out they were re-making Ghostbusters I needed therapy. I did love the headstone-wife and psycho. ? Pretty sure that's what mine will say.
Completely off topic but in reference to the Addams Family, my 8 year old daughter was watching the cartoon version and I decided to show her the original a couple days ago. She said its one of her favorite shows ever and binge watched it with me for hours. #prouddad
