I tend to agree with you but I also feel many of the Lincoln Project supporters are patriotic. I don't trust George Conway or Rick Wilson either but I don't throw the whole batch out because of some of the bad apples until the bad apple rots the whole bunch! ?

According to Edgar Cayce the meaning of crows is protector, keeper of the sacred Native American traditions; could signify change.

I suspect that's because you have a much kinder and loving heart than I do -- I'm trying, I swear! Love and light! Love and light! (The past 4 years have really strained my talents in that department ?)

I just watched Nancy Pelosi’s presser. Retired Lt. Gen. Russell Honore will lead a review of capitol security. I have sensed for a long time that he was not finished with his work after his stellar leadership during Katrina. He is the personification of Truth and Honor.

I agree-I was shocked and disgusted and angered by that, and now more is coming out about just how big a hand Rosenstein had in shutting Mueller down. It was a coordinated effort for sure.

i have a deep respect and admiration for Lt Gen. Honore.  He is gold in my book.  That was an excellent choice.

Our  country needs him.  This may be the greatest service he will ever provide this nation.

Trust me I don't think I'm kinder or more loving than you or others here too! I'm just being a tiny bit hopeful because even if only a few of those Lincoln Project folks have their hearts in the right place I'm grateful at this point. Probably because I feel like I have shocking disbelief that ALL republicans are in favor of what is going on or want to topple our government.

Funny but I am noticing many turning around. I feel there are GOPers who are conservative, but who don't support or even like tRumpus. For instance, Cindy McCain and her family. I'm just shocked and saddened though that so many stand behind their party over country. I'm also seeing how so many are all brainwashed and there doesn't seem to be enough of them turning around for my taste so I too am Angry a lot. I just know that I have to reign in my anger, because what I give out will come back to me. Law of attraction etc.

This whole problem though of the GOP and Trump is EXACTLY how Hitler was able to get into power back in the early 1900s. My mother and her older siblings used to tell me all the stories of how he got into power. My grandfather spent a year in a concentration camp because of his outspoken criticism of the Nazi party. They even killed his favorite nephew because they knew he was also not a supporter of Hitler. He also taught his children that many of the Nazi soldiers were not in favor of what was going on but they were scared to die by their own people turning them in. Fear was a big motivator to keep them in line.  My mother was so ashamed of the stain of the Nazis in Germany, she wouldn't teach me German when I was a child. She instead wanted to speak perfect English.

I am praying and hoping and trying to be as positive as I can be right now so the anger doesn't take me over. I see how easy it is with the tRumpus supporters to stay in that angry place.  I try and send light to them (when I am calm!).

Hello intuitive people! I am a longtime lurker - I somehow found this website after 45 won in 2016. I tend to come here for comfort in times of collective distress, and I’ve been here on the sidelines a lot during the course of the last few months. I am grateful for this forum and your various gifts, and especially for Jeanne’s wisdom and guidance (thank you, Jeanne!).

I haven’t cultivated the ability to read the future - it doesn’t feel like my path. I’m posting now because I am feeling anxious about violence, both near-term and in the next few decades. I know many have seen a “simpler lifestyle” ahead, and as a person who loves nature and is passionate about regenerative agriculture, I think this is a good thing. I’m just worried that the transition will be violent, especially if it comes in the form of collapse (this is a strong possibility according to history - I’m a historian by training - and climate change will be an accelerating force). Does anyone have a feeling on this possibility?

Can he issue pardons now that he has been impeached?

Yes.  As long as he remains in office and has not been convicted/removed, all presidential powers are intact.

There are Republicans who seemed to have switched sides when they came out against something Donald Trump did. That has happened a lot with Trump because he's so extreme, but those same Republicans may still follow a Republican Party line, so it doesn't surprise me that Comey is spouting the Republican spin line of "calling for unity."

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger (R) became a hero to progressives when he refused to do Trump's bidding and decertify the 2020 election. But this man also wrongfully purged 200,000 voters from the GA rolls in 2019 which the American Civil Liberties Union viewed as a voter suppression tactic.
