@theungamer Here is all I found checking the RTF’s and Random predictions.

  • Clarence Thomas in the news. (Lovendures) 3/121 for June-December 2022
  • I feel like SCJ Clarence Thomas may retire due to health issues or perhaps legal issues with his wife, but he won’t say. (Rowsella) 2/1/22 for August 2022
  • Something is going on with Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.( Deetoo) 2/122 for January 2023

If you haven't seen her, you've got to see this woman push back at the Republican accusations that she is too weak on sex crimes. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson gives us all a judge's-eye view of what it is like for a wise person in the position of judge to sentence people who have committed child sex crimes, especially those who purchased child pornography and thought they hadn't done anything that should merit a prison sentence and the stamp of sex offender.

Jackson on Hawley claims: "Nothing Could be Further from the Truth."

If I were a Repub, I'd be very nervous if this woman gets confirmed. She is the opposite of Clarence Thomas in terms of strength, wisdom, and a lifetime of service.

I'm sharing this poem in honor of the Supreme Court confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.  The poet Lucille Clifton is on the attached youtube link.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM7q_DUk5wU

won't you celebrate with me
by Lucille Clifton

won't you celebrate with me
what i have shaped into

a kind of life? i had no model.
born in babylon
both nonwhite and woman
what did i see to be except myself?
i made it up
here on this bridge between
starshine and clay,
my one hand holding tight
my other hand; come celebrate
with me that everyday
something has tried to kill me
and has failed.

Clifton, Lucille, “won't you celebrate with me” from Book of Light, (Copper Canyon Press, 1993)

Rep Hakeem Jeffries has a simple question for Justice Clarence Thomas:

"Why are you such a hater?"

The news about Gini Thomas out today is simply DAMNING!

I think it likely this is why Thomas will exit the court.  He will be on his way out, I can feel it.  It is fitting with the dream I had of him a few weeks ago too.

Emails prove she actively tried to get 2 AZ lawmakers to overturn Trump's election loss.

@lovendures

I hope your dream comes true!!! He's been on the court too long and never should have been in the first place.

@lovendures  Here is more news on that subject ...  https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/may/20/ginni-thomas-2020-election-arizona-emails

The article quoted a tweet

by New Yorker reporter Jane Mayer who wrote:

"Clarence Thomas, Meyer said, is godfather “to Clint Bolick’s child, and Bolick’s wife is the Arizona lawmaker who Ginni Thomas pressured to overturn the 2020 election.

“No conflicts of interest?”

In case anyone wants to read the opinion overruling Roe, here it is:

https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf/19-1392_6j37.pdf

The dissent, by Breyer, Kagan and Sotomayor, is simply delicious in its takedown of the majority. I'd avoid the majority opinion altogether as it's nauseating, and I'd focus on the last 66 pages.
