@rosieheart

Johnson is one of the bottom-feeders that spent 4th of July in Moscow last year.  Some of these Republican slimeballs are pants-pissing terrified about their NRA/Russia connections coming to light.

I still cannot believe the people in this country who voted for this deranged meatball.  Monkeys in the zoo display more civility and intelligence than this terracotta tyrant.

Trump shows what I have felt from the beginning, that His fascistic tendencies would grow over time.

When I saw him in a vision right before the electoral  college vote in December 2016, he appeared as a baby lion wondering if he’d be approved. He was a toddler fascist.

I wrote that once he got into power he’d morph like the Hulk towards full blown fascism as the lawmakers enabled him to get away with more crimes and deviations from democracy.  He hasn’t reached that level yet, but he would if allowed. His actions with Syria have many concerned that he has no problem destabilizing that region just to get Putin support — he pulled US troops on Putin’s birthday.

In July 2016 I had posted a vision of him standing on the stage during the Inauguration looking menacing and carrying an ancient symbol of fascism. (I couldn’t believe he could actually win the election so I posted that he must be there as a dark spirit who would continue taunting the Dems.)

Today he is quickly accelerating the authoritarian  moves to hold onto power.

The Trump Campaign and RNC are raising millions (see here, here and here) to run a public propaganda campaign against impeachment. NPR reported $125 million raised.   MoveOn.org is asking for donations to counter the pro Trump campaign. The DNC is also taking donations for their candidates.

The New Yorker wrote:

“One way of looking at Trump’s evolution from candidate to President, from Mueller’s time to Schiff’s, is that his abuses are accelerating, with each unpunished act serving as a license for more.”

On the positive side, today WAPO published a poll that 58% of Americans favor impeachment.

@pamp

Guilani, Barr, Pence, Graham, Jordan, Mcconnell

those are the first 6 stooges immediately comes to mind and they're willing to run on a fool's errand.  sooner or later they all and especially Barr will fall from grace.

The latest stooge is Senator Ron Johnston of Wisconsin.  He is delusional

The vision I had last week keeps returning to me.

I saw T trying to cross a bridge "over troubled waters" to escape. As he starts across, he looks up and the bridge is on fire. He has no place to escape.

T will be held accountable. He'll try to escape. But it's telling me he'll be forced to pay the piper.

Karma.

Off topic: On a personal sad note, my dear friend comedian Rip Taylor passed on Sunday. No one could make me laugh non-stop like him. Some of my favorite memories were with him. I will miss him. One of a kind. May he fly with the angels. I know he is.

Don't know if anyone else caught Trump speaking to reporters yesterday (October 7) but he looked like he had two black eyes.  The bags under his eyes were so dark that even makeup couldn't hide it.  Despite his bravado, he is running on empty.

Looking at him yesterday reminded me of a moment last spring when I was listening to him speak on TV and got this momentary feeling that his face was literally melting off.

He is not going to be able to hide forever.

(Lawrence, my condolences on the passing of your friend, Rip.  How lucky you were to have known him personally.  The great beyond must be filled with confetti today!)

I just want to throw out one thing: you would assume with all this big, wealthy Hollywood types would be giving the Democrats money for elections and impeachments. I am sure they must be - surely Robert DeNiro is! So when Nancy Pelosi asks me for $8 - I just don't have it, and I have to believe people are helping them.

My condolences on your friend Rip. Whoopie talked about him yesterday on The View (It sounded like she was also friends with Rip). It gets harder as we age when our friends/loved ones pass, it seems like it happens more frequently as we too get older.  My sincere prayers for you Lawrence.

That was some vision about T!  You have quite the visions :)

Thanks @Rosieheart @TriciaCT.  Rip was a special soul. He introduced me to Debbie Reynolds whom I also adored. I think of them being together again. They came to me yesterday in meditation. Beautiful.

My visions come usually when I'm least expecting them. Those particular visions have always proved accurate for me. This is my first experience sharing them except to a few close friends.

Sending love to everyone.

I am laughing so hard at the idea of Trump as a beta fish! A big, fat, orange beta fish with a bad combover. If I had any artistic skills, I'd draw that!

I'm sorry for your loss Lawrence.  I remember Rip from game shows and talk shows when I was young. Hugs.

I thought it was interesting that folks are referencing and seeing the three stooges. That's exactly how I described my vision of Mango when I saw him in prison stripes while sitting in church last year, or was it the year before? Anyway, I thought I was looking at Curly from a Stooges short when I realized who the face actually belonged to.

There are cracks starting to show in the senate majority. Moscow Mitch and Leningrad Lindsay both are up in arms over the Syria, Turkey, Kurds situation. Mitt R is starting to take swings at the administration while gathering allies, and the powers that be are running scared. They're trying to claim that the lessee of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave won't cooperate with the house investigation, which just adds more conspiracy counts. 58% of Americans favor an impeachment investigation, and including 28% of Republicans (see above link under Mitt R). Like a snowball rolling down hill, it starts slow, and then moves quicker. There's a reason they call it snowballing. And it's only Tuesday! LOL

@PamP, I can't see him as a beta fish. A big orange clown fish, yep, can see that with no problem!

@lawrence

I watched the View Today and they talked about what Trump did and they are all incensed too. It's so obvious he is trying to make Putin happy. They talked about his Trump towers in Turkey. All that is making me so sad and angry for our country. I keep wanting to see someone step in and remove his power. Even the GOP is getting upset. I looked up toward the sky and asked my guides to please tell me when this orange nightmare will stop. All of a sudden I felt I had to tell you this (assuming my mom's spirit) reminded me of this:

Lawrence, You mentioned Rip introduced you to Debbie Reynolds, it's funny but my mother was sponsored to come to the US from Germany by Hugo Winterhalter and lived with the Winterhalters, because my mom's sister married his son Hugh. Hugo worked with Debbie, etc. and my mom went to parties with Debbie and Eddie F. (and Liz T.). You brought back so many old memories of stories my mom would tell me about her life having to do with her time in Chappaqua NY in the late 50s with the parties, etc. and she spoke about meeting Debbie, etc.. It truly is a small world. My imagination is Rip is having a fun get together with Debbie, and maybe even my mother is invited to a little soiree. It's nice to think of anyway.  Hugs.

So now the WH is  refusing to comply with impeachment investigation.

This is a pivotal time, the point in which we as a country either enforce our constitution or give Donald Trump more dictatorial power.

I also am concerned that congressman Lindsey has invited the presidents personal lawyer Giuliani to testify before the Senate. This is a coordinated plan between the president and his congressional supporters that turns my stomach.

So much darkness.

A constitutional law expert said today on NRP that this latest move is like being flagged by police for speeding and your response is to just speed away.

@jeanne-mayell, I too am not surprised.  That's probably why I felt very agitated last night, and even more so today.  I was just told to "ride the wave", and got goosebumps.  Even beyond hope, we need to have faith in that which is unseen.  I don't believe that last remark came from me -- and it sounds funny when I say that, especially to a bunch of psychics! I believe "unseen" really means "higher spiritual powers at work."  And that we need to work with those powers always available to us.

Gosh -- I feel like I'm babbling.  I think I'll make myself a cup of tea!

It sickens me too Jeanne. I wrote something similar about how I felt after watching the View today and how even (ironically) the two GOPers Meghan and Abby are finally all in agreement with Joy, Whoopie etc. at how awful this POTUS and the GOP are acting with regards to the blatant disregard of the constitution, the law, and what is right vs. wrong (with this POTUS and his minions). I felt pretty angry today after hearing the news.

Then I sat down tonight and poured myself a glass of wine and ate Chinese food and turned on the TV, and there's Sean Spicer dancing the paso doble on Dancing with the Stars.

I didn't know if I should laugh or cry. That made me even feel more sad and yet I laughed at how nuts and turned upside down our country is at the moment. We are in a constitutional crisis, our democracy is in the hands of a treasonous lunatic and "Spicy" is on dancing with the stars!!?

Am I going to wake up and it's all been a bad dream? lol

@Cindy

I agree.  My awake imagination would cast Trump as a buffoon-y orange clown fish.  However, I think my dream was emphasizing Trump's smallness, and a Betta Fish is small.  And showy.  Also, extremely territorial in the wild, and it's advised domestic Bettas be kept isolated in small containers because they cannot be trusted around other fish, even other Bettas (cannibalistic=the equivalent of callously ruining others' careers and throwing both friends and foes under the bus!).  Even the name Betta has combative origins--it's derived from an ancient clan of warriors called "Bettah."  So if you had to metaphorically come up with a fish that fits the characteristics of a narcissistic, not-to-be-trusted, no-real-friends consistently combative bully like Trump, one who is actually only considered a big fish when it's isolated in a very small pond (e.g., the confines of his own family run real estate business), it seems a Betta fish would be a good choice!  My apologies to any and all, including kids, who love their pet Bettas!  There's also this:  Alpha males (now I'm referring to the human species!) are at the top of the social status hierarchy because of their access to power, money, and women, which they gain through intimidation and domination, and are described as "real men," and "real leaders"=how Putin projects himself.  A Beta male is ranked below an Alpha, is permanently relegated to second in command, and is known for being attracted to and for orbiting power=how Trump excessively fawns over oligarchs and dictators and is easily manipulated by them.  My apologies to all Alpha and Beta men who rise to positions of power honorably and then use their status and inclinations to do good!

Thanks for the energy boost, you all. Deetoo’s  message “There is faith in something unseen” resonates with me. And Spicy dancing turns it all into a dark comedy of the absurd that made me burst out laughing.

It’s not like I thought he’d ever be removed from office by the Senate.  But as an empath I get caught off guard at the pain in our collective when these politicians throw mud at our democracy.  I too awoke this morning feeling collective unease.

So...

1. Off topic - @lawrence - as a child Rip Taylor was a magical being to me. I'm sure he's tossing buckets of confetti at all the angels.

2. Re Trump appearance - he's looking more puffy than ever. Remember, the job, even poorly done, ages all of them. Hopefully the Office of the President will outlive Orange A$$clown.

3. Re: Impeachment proceedings. I have the impression that Pelosi & Co. will just take all the No's they are receiving and just adding them to Articles of Impeachment.  CALL YOUR MoCs!!! Tell them that while that's fine, they need to get the Sargent-at-Arms to issue warrants for those who refuse to even appear.  This is uncharted territory. Even in Watergate, everyone who got subpoenaed showed up and testified eventually.

4. I'm traveling right now (which is why I haven't had much time to interact beyond likes) - in fact, I'm staying right next to the Pentagon. The energy all around here is very weird, and this morning there was a rogue wind blowing as I walked past the Pentagon with my hubby. I made us switch to a different street to walk on, both for the wind and the weird energy.  The people in uniform no longer look up and make any eye contact, ever. Used to be they'd at least smile or even just look at other pedestrians.

5. As we were walking, we had our usual polemic discussions about the goings-on here, specifically today's bad news in which obstruction has become a feature rather than a bug. I'm of the mind that those held in contempt of Congress (aka "Inherent Contempt") need to be pursued and prosecuted if they decline to comply. My husband argues that since this is uncharted territory, no one knows how to do that. He said "It could end up that a Civil War starts literally in the White House. Think about it. A duly sworn and appointed officer of Congress shows up at the White House with warrants for the thugs hiding inside. The Secret Service declines to let the officer and their posse in and ask them to leave the grounds. They refuse. Shots are fired from the Secret Service agents on the roof. The armed Capitol/Congressional police fire back. Maybe it ends there and it's known as the Civil War in the White House. Or maybe it spreads from there, who knows." **  My husband up til now has NEVER discussed the possibility of civil war breaking out from all this. If HE'S starting to think it might happen, we're probably already well on the way.

6. Government purges continue unabated - friends of ours who work in different federal agencies at middle to upper levels are being forced out by hook or by crook.

7. Still feel like everything is accelerating, and things will happen so fast we'll barely have time to breathe.  Looking forward to heading home and taking some quiet time, and then heading to a short, unplugged vacay in Hawaii.

As Dan Rather says: "Breathe!"

Much love to all of you!

OK Lawrence, if I find out you were friends with James Stewart or James Cagney I am going to pass out lol.  They are my favorites!  Condolences to you about your friend.  My father loved humor like his.

Bettas are gorgeous and elegant and have IQs roughly 50 points higher than Donald Trump.

I remember how many eyerolls I got when I would comment, before the election, that Twitler was a power-hungry authoritarian fascist.  It was so obvious.  I don't understand how people can be so blind.

Jeanne -- With the Kurds about to get slaughtered and the white house basically taking a position that the moron is above the law, I completely understand feeling unease in the collective. I do too.

There are predictions on this site about how when this is all over the US is less powerful in the world, and I can see why. We're about to abandon our allies, and about to withdraw from a treaty (Clear Skies?) that has the possibility of breaking the north atlantic alliance. All to serve putin's interests, all discussed on phone calls we won't ever know about because the notes will remain hidden.

I know folks are seeing trump on a downhill slide, but whether that happens or not the damage he's doing is accelerating at an alarming rate, and a lot of what he's doing is irreversible. Breaking federal institutions, alliances, while the GOP does nothing. I really fear for what we will look like as a country -- not just when he's gone, but even in a couple of months.
