Gritted my teeth and watched a minute of the presser. He was sweating and short of breath.

@baba

Regarding your vision with the bear lying on its side. I am starting to think that this is happening. Some industry sectors (for example travel) are starting to suspend trading of their shares on the stock market:

From The Australian broadcaster's (abc) live coronavirus blog today.

Travel firms have temporarily suspended trading on the Australian Stock Exchange after the Prime Minister announced the closure of non-essential businesses.

Flight Centre has suspended its shares ahead of an announcement about the impact of the coronavirus on its business.

It is a fast moving blog so unfortunately, I can't link to this specific post.

Could the bear on its side be longer-term and more widespread halts in market trading?

@villager  The bear, which was also stiff, looks indeed like the bear market.  When I company de-lists its stocks, investopedia.com says it is often the first stage of bankruptcy. In the cruise industry, bankruptcies are expected but that is not going to be the case for industries that will be back when this virus is over. https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/05/delistingofsharesowned.asp

I had a couple of interesting things show up in the last couple of days while meditating. I have shifted to sending light and healing to the whole world due to the virus. Two of the things that I saw over the last couple of days were that they eventually have to release the children from the camps because so many people get sick - especially the guards - and they start trying to place the kids back into the community.

One of the other things that I just saw was that there will be a large black out (I saw the lights turn off over the US and back on). I sensed that it scares a lot of people but is resolved quickly.

I also got that the orange menace thinks if he keeps doing press conferences that he will ensure his re-election. He seems to think that he is convincing the people how well they are handling the situation. It does not work.

Time will tell if any of this comes true, but I thought I would include it just in case.

You were absolutely correct on the press conferences and the fact that they aren't working.

Listening to Trump drone on and on about opening our country and how we have learned SO MUCH!

Just said economic problems are bigger than the original problem..."We can't have the cure be worse than the problem." They showed us who had said that on Fox earlier. He is a parrot on auto pilot.

Yes, dying is not as bad as the stock market crashing.

We need a hook and/or a drop floor.

Arguing now for opening up parts of New York. Dear God.

And repeating, "We can do two things at once." Wonder where he heard that one? It is making no sense. He is just winging it now. How long until the White House issues corrections?

It's like that Will Ferrell movie where the character keeps saying, "When in Rome..." but it's never applicable to the situation.

I can't even begin to imagine how someone who has lost a loved one in the early rounds here of this virus feels listening to him talk about $$$.

Generally I feel either nothing or mild annoyance listening to him. Today I feel a tsunami of grief building in the collective. I can feel the anger of others listening. I also feel the confusion of the newly dead, especially the young ones.

Thank God for the woman scientist/physician who keeps talking about social distancing. Notice she is not touching the podium. Her hands were folded. Now she is talking again, using her hands, keeping them well above the podium.

The cherry on the top: He is asking her if someday will we ever sit close again? She is doing a really good job steering the focus, and just giving great factual info. Not even answering that question.

very interesting in his "Update" today... No Dr Fauci.... No Surgeon General... Billy Goat Barr was there ..Trump started out very subdued before hitting his stride.... no longer calling it the "Chinese Virus" and that he expects to have us back working by the 31st... that we are getting "huge shipments on their way to New York of Plaquenil and Remsdivir".. and we are getting back to work - that we can't let a medical issue become a economy issues.... and we are going to get going back to work "very quickly"

SMH... pardon me if I don't believe a word coming from his mouth.

Yes -- I feel that too.  As more people become sick, we'll feel that grief and anger even stronger.  I flipped on MSNBC, only to see who was included in the press conference, then immediately turned it off.  I can't stand watching or listening to him.  My husband flipped it on while I stepped away; as soon as I heard the Mad King speaking, I began cussin' up a storm.   I've developed quite the mouth the past 3+ years.

I noticed that Dr. Fauci was missing.  What the hell was Bart doing there?

Yes, T is unraveling, but I'd prefer not to see it.  I just want him the hell out of the WH.
