@deetoo

There were several predictions regarding the Turtle faced Turd. I remember that one! I jus tlooked for it but can not find it now. :-(  Found several tho that I have listed here:

here is one :

McConnell's approval rate will drop. (Bin)  march 2020

and these for April 2020:  Mitch McConnell turns on Trump. He considers it necessary for his survival. (Baba)

Washington at a standstill. Mitch out of office or in the hospital. He's attending a formal event. He looks stricken. It's his first public appearance in a while. (Andrew Posey)

August 2020 : Mitch McConnell is no longer trusted in his own homeland. (Claire)

November 2020:  Moscow Mitch is out. (Claire)

Mitch is physically feeble but might still be there. (Kathryn L.)

Where’s Trump? Stomach distress. Where’s McConnell? Gone. Even so, I still see old withering white men looking satisfied. (Jeanne Mayell) Predicted 10.9.19

@turtle26

Looks like there are more senators (republican & democrat) + senior aids that sold/traded stocks in industries related to the Coronavirus threat in late Jan/early Feb. It would be interesting to see what trump & co's brokers have been up to the last few months.  Check out this politico article.

<a title="House members, Senate aides traded stocks in early days of coronavirus" href=" removed link " target="true"> removed link

The universe has a funny way of uniting the public. Given how many people have lost money in the stock market over the last few weeks, I can't imagine Americans letting this go! All this time spent at home under quarantine has given us the gift of introspection + problem solving shenanigans. Is it possible to start a new thread on this topic?

@seaturtle26 I have a hard time imagining MM looking distraught .  I thought you had to have a conscience for that.
 I really do think this is going to make the Repubs look so bad they will not get out from under by the elections.  They just can’t get the Lyin King to shut up!  Mitch tries to go on camera and blame it on the Dems or try to play the “we all need to have respect” card .  It’s almost like they think if they contradict their lies it will make it better.  Regular everyday people do have a conscience and they do have empathy and most important they do remember.
I for one certainly hope what our little group has seen for them comes true.  Sometimes I get so angry I want revenge but truly I really just want them to shut up and go away!

By the way, I was on YouTube a second ago and one of the card readers (I don’t know her) posted a call for a worldwide moment of prayer tomorrow at noon.  I hope I can remember.  I believe tomorrow is the first day of spring?

Ramming through barriers.  It’s a positive.  Obstructionist ways of thinking will be one of the barriers that gets rammed through.  I also see Trump seated behind his desk with 5 or 6 of his diehard sycophants tightly huddled around him—they are all looking stunned and even scared by what’s steadily closing in on them and forcing them into a corner. (CDeanne) Predicted 11.11.19

In the face of the Covid-19 crisis, Trump's ingrained "obstructionist ways of thinking" are finally being more forcefully refuted and challenged (e.g., by the press, medical field experts, and leaders at all levels, including some who have, up until now, been spineless and/or in silent lock-step).  When I saw the above image back in November, I couldn't imagine what could have occurred that made Trump and his innermost circle of sycophants all look so stunned, scared, and backed into a corner.  Now we know. In the immediate days/weeks, I think we can expect to see a persistently outraged and ultimately successful "ramming through" of the barriers to truth, decency, democracy, and even public safety Trump has been building--lie upon lie, boast upon boast, fumble upon fumble, deception upon deception, delusion upon delusion--and it will (finally!) be this administration's undoing.

And I sincerely hope that this image, that I also saw on 11 November (for April 2020), comes true:

Large airplane flying at night, completely dark and silent inside.  Air Force One.  Trump is inside.  He feels done.  His eyes are bloodshot and he’s staring vacantly.  (CDeanne) Predicted 11.11.19

@paul-w

My Favorite and accurate description of him.

Taken together, this is a massive failure in leadership that stems from a massive defect in character. Trump is such a habitual liar that he is incapable of being honest, even when being honest would serve his interests. He is so impulsive, shortsighted, and undisciplined that he is unable to plan or even think beyond the moment. He is such a divisive and polarizing figure that he long ago lost the ability to unite the nation under any circumstances and for any cause. And he is so narcissistic and unreflective that he is completely incapable of learning from his mistakes. The president’s disordered personality makes him as ill-equipped to deal with a crisis as any president has ever been. With few exceptions, what Trump has said is not just useless; it is downright injurious.

This David Remnick essay is good: How The Coronavirus Shattered Trump's Serene Confidence.

Early last week, the Trump era—which defined itself by a lurid celebration of “alternative facts,” a contempt for science, and an assault on global institutions and the “administrative state”—came to an end. Regrettably, Donald Trump remains in office, but, at least for the moment, he appears to have ceded the argument: he cannot bend the harshest realities of the world to his fantasies. The aggressive and deadly coronavirus is unimpressed and unimpeded by the bluster of a con. Yet the prolonged process of Trump’s humbling, the time it took him to recognize the power of the global pandemic that has emptied our streets, has put untold numbers of Americans at risk....read on.

The only thing I disagree with is that Trump's confidence is shattered.  Trump's mental illness, malignant narcissism doesn't allow his confidence to be shattered. He lives in a fantasy world of ego aggrandizement.
