I find it very hard to believe that a known germaphobe is not getting tested. I bet he is tested daily although the public will be kept in the dark as usual.

@lawrence

Here in Brazil Bolsonaro denies having been infected. His son told a Fox News reporter that his father had tested positive on the first phase, awaiting counterproof, and afterwards denied it. But the press sec is infected and quarantined. I also believe that Trump is infected but will never admit. Yet... I also think this is minor compared with what we will know in the future about his presidency. A complete horror show.

@marcosromao

Thanks. His son told the truth, of course. Definitely a horror show.

@hererightnow

I find it more likely that the "I'm not getting tested" line is machismo cover for the fact that:

1) he was tested

2) the results came back positive

If this is the case, he's not being quarantined because there aren't any grownups left in the White House. There's no one there to counter his recklessness (we saw that with his disastrous Wednesday speech and travel ban).

As I was doing my full moon meditation a few days ago, I had a strange vision. It was especially strange as I was sending light to all of those who are being affected by the virus and especially to the children being held by the government in facilities. I asked if there was anything that I needed to know and got the following:

Black decoration on the WH (black bows?) and Melania T dressed in a black A-line dress (it looked like lace of some kind) wearing a long black veil. She feels like she is fashion-channeling Jackie O. Time period: May? She is smiling which seems incongruous to the situation.

I have been hesitating to post this because I don’t know what it means. I don’t know if it means general mourning for those lost in the pandemic or something or someone more specific. I really don’t know. It was just a striking and strange thing to get while meditating.

The end of his reign :Trump is out of her life and ours.

Peter Wehner: The Trump Presidency Is Over - The Atlantic

A must read from the beginning to this bit on to the end.

.".......the president and his administration are responsible for grave, costly errors, most especially the epic manufacturing failures in diagnostic testing, the decision to test too few people, the delay in expanding testing to labs outside the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and problems in the supply chain. These mistakes have left us blind and badly behind the curve, and, for a few crucial weeks, they created a false sense of security. What we now know is that the coronavirus silently spread for several weeks, without us being aware of it and while we were doing nothing to stop it. Containment and mitigation efforts could have significantly slowed its spread at an early, critical point, but we frittered away that opportunity....."

I came here to post exactly that, @michele-b.

@lawrence, we might consider this the eve of the Ides. Posted today, Atlantic article written by an avowed lifelong Republican, Peter Wehner:

"Donald Trump is shrinking before our eyes.

The coronavirus is quite likely to be the Trump presidency’s inflection point, when everything changed, when the bluster and ignorance and shallowness of America’s 45th president became undeniable, an empirical reality, as indisputable as the laws of science or a mathematical equation.

It has taken a good deal longer than it should have, but Americans have now seen the con man behind the curtain. The president, enraged for having been unmasked, will become more desperate, more embittered, more unhinged. He knows nothing will be the same. His administration may stagger on, but it will be only a hollow shell. The Trump presidency is over."

@baba, I've missed a lot this last week or more (work has kept me from reading the thread), so it may be that this has already been discussed, but I recall a recent vision you shared in which you saw a large bear, lying on its side. I think that was it?

When news of the bear market hit, I thought of your vision, and wondered if you'd felt there was a connection.

Someone on twitter said trump doesn't want to get tested for coronavirus because they will have his DNA which then could be used against trump in those sexual assault allegations, sounds believable
