I take a “fake” heart attack to mean that they will say he had a heart attack so he can quietly leave office and have Pence take over. I heard from various other psychics that his health, along with Barr’s, is at danger levels. It would be the perfect plan, because who wouldn’t believe he’d have a heart attack?

Kentucky update.  I am by no means a tweeter or whatever you call them, but I do check in and brouse once a day.  Yesterday trending #MoscowMitch!  Of course poor turtle man was offended and said no one was tougher on  Russia and no one wants a fair election more than him BUT the Dems, the Dems, the Dems, blah, blah balh.  It's looking more and more like $moscowMitch is melting down like Moron!  I heard somewhere that his wife is under investigation for illegal finacial wrangling with China,  Might #moscowMitch be getting worried that he couldbe found out?  It's a not-so-well-kept secret he is for sale to the highest bidder and has been for years.

I agree with the Moron/Mussolini comparison.  Mussolini was a thug.  He had no graces or culture and he was a womanizer.  Hitler was actually an artist at one time.  He appreciated works of art.  Morons idea of beautiful art is probably Hustler magazine!  As for his health I agree he does look unbalanced.  I practice yoga and balance asanas are an important part of the whole.  Moron  does walk like he is out of balance.  We all know he is UNHINGED!

I was thinking more along the lines that somebody caused the heart attack, and passed on as natural.

@vestralux

Howdy, and welcome back! I haven't contributed in a while, but this conversational thread seems like a good place to jump in.

I've been reading a few books that, in their own ways, address the issue of the individual and society, and the reasons there are thematic repetitions of thought and behavior over the years/centuries/eons.

The intro work is Karen Armstrong's "A Short History of Myth". The next works are by Joseph Campbell, "The Power of Myth" and "The Hero's Journey". The last one is edited by Campbell, "The Portable Jung". They're all really good.

Reading the remarks made here about Hitler/Mussolini, national histories and collective souls, I remembered a passage from Carl Jung's "The Concept of the Collective Unconscious", written in 1936. He writes about a number of deep subjects that are myth-religion related, including the behavioral role of Archetypes in our individual and collective unconsciousness.

And while writing about how these forms affect one's behavior and "psyche", he makes a remark that could be about today's world situation:

"But if we consider the tremendous powers that lie hidden in the mythological and religious sphere in man, the etiological significance of the archetype appears less fantastic... Today you can judge better than you could twenty years ago the nature of the forces involved. Can we not see how a whole nation is reviving an archaic symbol, yes, even archaic religious forms, and how this mass emotion is influencing and revolutionizing the life of the individual in a catastrophic manner?"

Of course, he's referencing 1936 Nazi Germany. He goes on, with specifics about when large numbers of individuals share "injurious conditions" (think then of Germans and now here with Fox News/Hate Radio consumers):

"... we must assume the presence of constellated archetypes. Since neuroses are in most cases not just private concerns but social phenomena, we must assume that archetypes are constellated in these cases too. The archetype corresponding to the situation is activated, and as a result those explosive and dangerous forces hidden in the archetype come into action, frequently with unpredictable consequences.

"There is no lunacy people under the domination of an archetype will not fall prey to. If thirty years ago anyone had dared to predict that our psychological development was tending towards a revival of the medieval persecutions of the Jews, that Europe would again tremble before the Roman fasces and the tramp of legions, that people would once more give the Roman salute, as two thousand years ago, and that instead of the Christian Cross an archaic swastika would lure onward millions of warriors ready for death - why, that man would have been hooted at as a mystical fool."

He goes on to comment how "the man of the past" has risen yet again, numbering in the many millions, laden with all sorts of harmful archetypes from mankind's Collective Unconscious. These archetypes are forms created through the "endless repetitions" of Man experiencing specific situations which become "engraved into our psychic constitution."

"When a situation occurs which corresponds to a given archetype, that archetype becomes activated and a compulsiveness appears, which, like an instinctual drive, gains its way against all reason and will, or else produces a conflict of pathological dimensions, that is to say, a neurosis."

I think back on Jeanne's vision of the Inauguration, with Trump and the Roman fasces. Quite a symbol. And the activation of archetypes and consequent behaviors that defy reason explains much of how Trump's base rolls. White Supremacy and Racial Resentments are powerful archetypes, indeed.

Anyway, ol' Carl Jung (and Campbell, and Armstrong) have a lot to say about how Myth is created and can be used for good. And how our own community here intuits its messages and symbols and metaphors. The power of the Collective Unconscious connects us all in ways we can only begin to understand.

Thanks, Vestralux, for opening a conversation that has lead to expressing my own crazy thoughts!

@jessi1978, I'm not sure about T****'s body.  It's just that something is off to me -- I think Yogagirl expressed it when she remarked "out of balance" and "unhinged."  Also, I see his  jacket as a type of shield.   Not sure what I mean by that.

After T* attacked Elijah Cummings and then moved on to Al Sharpton, "the Rev" said the following:

I don't know why T* is calling me a con man.  If he really thought I was a con man, then the president would be nominating me for his Cabinet.

Quote by Tim Wise, educator and anti-racism activist:

We talk about the opioid crisis as being heroin and fentanyl. Donald Trump is a human breathing opiate. What does an opiate do? It says, I can take away your pain, but it doesn't actually solve the source of your pain.

I often wonder how different our country will be in a year’s time; heck, even a month’s time.

I am both terrified and honored to be in a physical body on this planet at this time.

Moscow Mitch is trending  right now, both enraging McConnell and causing unease in the GOP.  https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/30/us/politics/moscow-mitch-mcconnell.html

It's fitting that at the same time we are reading about 1500 protesters arrested in Moscow and Alexey Navalny, Putin's prime rival, has been poisoned while in custody, and other political rivals to Putin have been arrested. This is the kind of "democracy" that Mango has shown in his rhetoric that he wants in this country.

If only the U.S. population could see what is so plainly being revealed to them.

Hi Mike! I'd call these the very sanest of thoughts, but I may be a little biased. I personally love each of these thinkers and their works, so I'm delighted you were inspired to share them.

I believe that Jung's theory of archetypal activations has been beautifully expanded by what we've since learned about the neuroscience, psychology, and epigenetics of trauma. The cultural neuroses he described mirror the very real "allergies," addictions, and other pathologies which are so powerfully transmitted from one generation to the next in circumstances of unhealed familial and cultural trauma.

Archetypes aren't merely abstract symbols; they are the living embodiment of cultural memory. What the conscious mind conveniently forgets, the collective unconscious inconveniently stores—and forever repeats. Sometimes that agitated scratching sound we'd rather ignore is our ancestors tapping out S.O.S. in Morse code.

HI Vestralux! I just read your post that Nixon is in Trump's head, which is too funny because I was just listening to a Youtube psychic who suddenly received that same information within the past week!  She said Nixon is trying to get him to stop his behavior and that it will catch up with him. He knows full well and is trying to get Trump to realize it will follow him into the next life.  She thinks Nixon follows him around whenever he's at the White House.

Hi Tricia! Thank you for sharing this. Maybe it isn't all that far-fetched an idea that Nixon is in the guy's head (from where we're sitting, anyway—ha), but it's really validating for me when other mediums get the same or similar hits.

I'm sure the Cassandra complex is just a hazard of the terrain, but after I post some of these things I always ask myself, "Was it necessary to share that part? You sound like a lunatic."

(Not saying I'm NOT a lunatic. I just prefer not leaving a paper trail.) ?

Hahahahahahaaha!

Much less an internet one in search engine pages that never disappear only get archived and can still be brought up!

I stopped using my real full name here because i have too big of an internet trail for posterity as it is.

But frankly, being linked to alien sightings, remote viewing and worries about the CIA tapping our phones  (oh, yes we once went there)  when I thought  a little more about it  (especially when after Zoron warned us about that) I actually had an unknown number coming in from Washington D.C. the very next day  ?

I discovered if someone searched for me using google, this site came in #3 of my listings. Forget the 20 links i once had of my own. And it quoted what I wrote here. Hahaha!

My kids know my quirks and unusualities but some things are too much for even them.  But then if it was audio or video clips, I'd just claim "fake news fake news!!!"

Oh well, I can still claim that any way I guess. Right. ?  ?

Ha, seriously! The "good" news is that the internet is the great equalizer; everybody's being tracked and archived.

And finally, there's something to be said for having dead folks following you around since infancy: It makes you naturally paranoid that you're always being watched.  ? (Thus, I've never used my real name for things like this ... not that that's so great a deterrent.)

@jessi1978 I think he has a bad back - lumbar lordosis to be exact. Otherwise known as sway back. The brace for that can be very bulky and unwieldy and when I had to wear a brace I had to have pants that were either elastic waisted or a couple of sizes too big. If he's wearing a brace, he's probably trying to balance out the oversized pants by wearing a similarly oversized top. That's why he looks so sloppy, especially with those stupid overly long ties. Spending money to pay a good tailor to make a custom suit probably wouldn't be an option for him unless someone else is paying for it!

@pamp - He may have a back issue, but he's not wearing a brace. Think about it. Narcissists are incapable of admitting any weakness or defect. He's just hiding his fat a$$.

Why the fascist goldfish stands strangely ... body-language expert Jack Brown explains T's use of "lifts" inside his shoes so he appears taller. His body angle is strange because he's so weak and overweight, so he has to compensate by leaning so far over.
