The committees behind the House's impeachment inquiry released on Monday the first two transcripts from their closed-door depositions, making public transcripts from their interviews with former US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch and Michael McKinley, a former State Department adviser.

Just noticed this article that unemployment may be climbing in swing states. Unemployment is one of the key factors that influences votes for or against the incumbent party. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/11/04/unemployment-is-climbing-key-swing-states-including-michigan-wisconsin/?wpisrc=nl_most&wpmm=1

The original article on the Kushner story is from the American addition of The Spector, a UK weekly conservative bent newspaper owned by the same group as the Daily Telegraph. It appeared in the Cockburn section which is a political gossip column.

I don't really know much about this paper, the US addition seems to have begun last year.  The British one has been around for over a century I believe.

I don't know how accurate Cockburn has been in the past though the fact that it is a gossip column is worth considering I would  think.

But man, just the thought this might be true is absolutely chilling.

How about all the coal jobs that T was going to save. I guess not.

America's largest private coal miner files for bankruptcy

The slow death of the American coal industry has forced Murray Energy, the largest private coal miner in the United States, to file for bankruptcy protection Tuesday.

President Donald Trump's election in 2016 had raised hopes in the coal industry for a revival. The president moved swiftly to slash environmental regulations and even installed a former coal lobbyist to lead the US Environmental Protection Agency. But the deregulatory push has been overwhelmed by market forces. Coal just can't compete with cheap natural gas and the plunging cost of solar, wind and other forms of renewable energy.

Mine workers stand to lose in the bankruptcy — not just in jobs but potentially in the erosion of healthcare and pension benefits. Murray Energy is the last major company contributing to the pension plan of the United Mine Workers of America. The pension plan's depleted funding will only get worse if Murray Energy is relieved of its pension requirements.

I had seen the article this morning. It was interesting because one of the covert or 'alt' government worker Twitter accounts that I read mentioned it this morning. They noted that they didn't know the sourcing of the article, or how accurate it was, but they posted it to remind everyone they had heard in the rumor mill that there was another quid pro quo that would be exposed and it involved Jared.

I think we're in for a world of unraveling that will be eye opening. I'm not sure how much will happen before he's out of office, and how much will be after. Only the tip of an iceberg is typically seen above the water line. As the Titanic showed us, what has yet to be uncovered is the more treacherous part.

Edited to add: I love that E. Jean Carroll filed a lawsuit against Mango today. If he's going to spew trash about others, he should be held accountable.

I think the DNC in Milwaukee is a great move to try to expose Trump here in WI. He is still loved outside of Milwaukee, but the economy here is worse than it was in 2016 and that Foxconn debacle that Trump really hung his hat on is a dumpster fire that is screwing thousands of people on top of all WI taxpayers. The problem here is that with Evers as Governor and a GOP statre legislature, they are trying to blame it all on Walker being ousted.

Thanks guys for posting that link for me. Home with sicm kids today so havent had much time to myself today.

Lev Parnas, an indicted Ukrainian-American businessman who has ties to President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, is now prepared to comply with requests for records and testimony from congressional impeachment investigators, his lawyer told Reuters on Monday.

Big wow about the possible Kushner-Erdogan-Trump-Syria connection.  Thank you @Lovendures and @Jessi1978 for posting links to relevant articles and to @MAS1581, @Cindy and all for educating me.  I hadn't heard about this very juicy and very game-changing deal until now.  A detail that makes the scenario very plausible is how instantly trump responded to Erdogan's demand and why, for sure, no one else was involved.  One of my fave YouTube psychics said she "saw" Erdogan yelling at trump over the phone and verbally beating him up about something.  This fits with her vision.

Previously, I personally thought trump's Syria withdrawal was either about money being paid to trump under the table, or a multi-million dollar reduction in the massive debts he owes to godknowswho, or about a promise that Putin extracted from him.  In any case and for whatever reason, now most world leaders know how easily trump can be bribed, bought or otherwise persuaded with compromat.

Situation unraveling, indeed.

PS to @Cindy, I love the E Jean Carroll lawsuit too.  Especially the perfect timing of it.

And one more thing.  I think I posted this before about a Vedic astrologer named Gurmat Singh who calculated that November 4th (which is today) would be the exact day that trump's luck starts running out, and it does not return.  I'm not an astrologer, but Singh's calculation has something to do with Jupiter's protective influence leaving trump's chart.  Note all that's coming down on trump today:  the Kushner-Erdogan-Syria story, trump's pending tax release, a rape-related lawsuit, the distribution of transcripts from impeachment hearings, problems with the coal miners, conversations around trump being boo-ed in public places...You get the idea.  Singh predicts it gets worse and worse for trump from here on.
