Card 8: The Star (The Firedrake) - This is another card that has popped up in every one of my political reads on political situations. In the “unseen forces working toward the resolution” position the start is bright - massive. It’s lit up the sky. Everyone can see it. The people are gazing at it with reverence. Light has returned! People will see it!
Card 9: Eight of Cups (reversed, chapel perilous) - Hopes and fears position. Another interesting reverse card - right side up it depicts a man on a horse in the chapel with a devilish arm reaching through the window at it - but reversed, I still see the hand (looks like a gargoyle) but the man on a horse almost looks like a man knelt in prayer. There is white light around him (which right side up is the mane of the horse) - This man isn’t afraid of the hand, he’s got faith. Biden perhaps?
Card 10: Two of Cups (reversed, Tristram and Isolt) - The outcome: It’s a man and a woman standing together in a boat embracing. It’s okay. They’ve seen stuff. They’re together as one setting out across a sea. And in the reverse the only difference I get is noticing how bright this card is - it’s warm in either direction.
Analysis: First note, I only used my book on a couple of these - and generally after I’d provided my interpretation. On the outcome, the book’s description of the card in reverse is 100% reversed from mine. I guess it helps if you know all of the arthurian legends and characters by heart, which I do not. In reconciling my read and the book’s read, perhaps it’s 2022 when the hatchet is buried enough for us to move beyond the uneasy conflict. Especially if you take it in line with Cards 8-9. Another possibility is that there are two outcomes here and which one we follow is still in question.
This is a balanced read without one suit in particular dominating. I’m not certain this has helped ease my unease at all, especially in the interim between now and closer to 2022, but I do see some strong possibilities for moving forward. It’s interesting that its’ very rare on this read to see a person - outside of the man in prayer - I asked about the mood of the collective after the midterms and this is a very encouraging yet - not concrete reading.
Addendum: In posting the other part, I forgot to think about this in line with ALL the cards, not just the path to the outcome. All out warfare in congress appears to be on the horizon and card 3 alluded to this. That could bode well on the balance/journey in the outcome card.
@dannyboy thanks for sharing your reading with us. I used to have that Arthurian deck, too. It was my first Tarot deck, given to me by a friend. I didn't know much about the legend of Arthur, but the images on the cards were full of information- much more so than some of the other, more Minimal style decks.

I think that is a good metaphor. You can't expect to go from chaos to focused, directed calm in an instant.
And the deal with the impeachment: Conviction would be a bonus. The real accomplishment will be in getting the facts to light. There are still convinceable people on the fence out there. Of that I am sure.
I was a kid during Watergate and I wasn't conscious of any details, but I do remember that my dad (rest his soul) was a staunch Nixon supporter up until maybe the last week or two before the resignation, when the weight of new evidence finally tipped the scale in his (my dad's ) intelligent but stubborn mind. I remember being surprised by how suddenly the family mantra went from "Nixon good" to "Nixon bad".

1) heard something about Russia this morning. Possibly cyber attack ?
2) I saw Australia on a map and it was shadowed in darkness
3) something about chickens in the news
4) I saw a shark in the ocean lurking and trying to attack someone
5) I saw Rio, Brazil in my minds eye. It didn’t seem like a positive thing but I couldn’t pin point what. Seemed covid related.

@isabelle thank you for the article. I often wonder how much truth we are getting from a country like Brazil. I believe because of Bolsnaro it is very censored. I have the feeling there is more to this new strain.
This morning I heard something about this years groundhog. Something unique in the news. Also early spring and something about global warming.
Yesterday, while sick in bed and sitting around staring aimlessly into space, I saw a vision that appeared randomly without me looking for it. I saw militias training in an open field. I felt it had to do with domestic terrorist training.
I also felt as I stared at this vision that we would eventually learn that The Capitol Insurrection was intentionally organized to be a violent insurrection, although I can't reconcile that with the fact that the rioters were not armed. But I do feel intuitively that this domestic terrorism was organized at the highest level of government. It was a plot to make it look like it was a popular movement but it was planned. I don't know why they failed, though, or why they didn't have arms.
I would not be surprised if some of the Ex-cons Paul Manafort and Roger Stone, as well as Eric Prince were involved, and I would not be surprised if they are still involved. But they will be stopped. And the truth is going to come out.

@Jeanne-mayell Just down the road from me is one of those open fields that militia members who were part of that terrorist plot to kidnap Governor Whitmer practice in. Over the summer when we had the windows open I often heard what I thought were fireworks - and it wasn't until that news broke that my colleague who lives nearby told me what it actually was. It was horrifying. I always knew there was Michigan Militia nearby, but I never thought about what that meant until the attempt on Whitmer was foiled.
Was your vision more about all of this coming to light (good lord, please let it be during the impeachment trial that it comes to light), or was there a pull toward warning of a future attempt? FWIW, I often on my Friday and Saturday nights sit outside even in the cold to look at the night sky, and I haven't heard the gunshots in a long while. But there are active investigations here still in progress on the Whitmer attempt, and there are active investigations at the federal level beginning on the events at the US Capitol, so that could easily explain the quiet.
@jeanne-Mayelle I think that you are correct that it will come out eventually just how organized the insurrection was and how many of the usual suspects were involved in it. I just hope that that enough of the information comes out soon enough to make a difference in the impeachment trial.
Over the last few days, one of the things that I have gotten consistently during meditations is a vision of a headline that reads, “Convicted”. This doesn’t make sense to me intellectually as everyone seems to have written off the possibility of T being convicted.
I also got a flash today during my meditation that Pelosi may be in danger from someone within the chamber. This made me very uncomfortable and I hope that they keep up her security. I will be sending her light and prayers for her safety.
The last thing that I got during my meditation today, which is the least surprising, is that Dianne Feinstein will resign for health reasons in the not too distant future.

Lawrence and Jeanne are correct. This was a planned coup that came directly from Twitler and his minions, and as Lawrence said, more and more information is coming out about it every day.
I believe the plan was to create such chaos he would declare he had to impose martial law, and then on to the installation of diehard loyalists, who would overturn the election results, since he got nowhere with the courts. And these insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol wouldn't have thought twice about murdering Democratic congresspeople. Thank God it didn't happen. What did happen was bad enough. And STILL, hardly any rethugs will speak out about any of it? Traitors all.
@jeanne-mayell I was thinking about why the coup failed last week and what I thought was that the trumpers failed to take into account the resistence from people they thought wouuld just throw down their arms and join them. They thought everyone would be on their side, but those few cops, those good cops, that fought back, and the secret servicec in the Capital building, were enough to thwart their plan. In their arrogance and delusion, they thought they were a majority much like the people keep saying Trump won, can't seem to fathom the rest of us, that voted for Biden. Anyway, just an idea I had or maybe an intutive feeling.
@theredone I find that these groups belong to the fringes. My concern is that they could prop back up in the future and turn the US into a totalitarian dictatorship.
I feel the Biden win was a reprieve. There is a short window of time to right the ship. If that doesn't happen our democracy will be lost. Things that were unimaginable a few years ago are being normalized before our very eyes. The state GOP parties are poised to make voting harder, and who knows what the courts will allow to stand. I also fear state GOP parties will at least try to change state laws regarding how votes are certified. I'm not an election law expert but I think states have wide latitude in how results are certified. In the past it's obviously gone to the winner but that's because doing otherwise would have been repudiated as crazy and undemocratic. But we're in crazy times, where nothing seems too outlandish to be implemented. Dark forces are working overtime to foment more insurrections and again make them seem like popular movements. One of the two major governing parties is a mob and not an actual party, and many of its members can't see that. Others like it and think it's dandy. Meanwhile, COVID is mutating, and I don't see that we'll fully bounce back for another 2 years. Economic hardship will continue and grow more severe, and if the Biden administration isn't seen as delivering relief it could spell disaster in the midterms.
The mental image I get of these times of like a scene from Jurassic Park, where people are frantically trying to outrun a dinosaur, just managing to keep beyond its grasp. Democracy is running frantically, trying to keep itself from getting destroyed.
I think of Jeanne's prediction that we'd go down in 2020, stay down and then rise again in the mid to late 2020's. That gives me hope. It's possible what I'm feeling now is the anxiety of the collective, but feel it I do. It feels dark, dangerous and ominous. Sorry to be such a downer.
@enkasongwriter You are not alone in your concern, but the FBI is investigating them and the Biden Administration got the memo from America to get them out. In the 1980's the Southern Poverty Law Center litigated the Klu Klux Klan out of existence. My gut is that the new Administration will root out and stop these militias.

@baba I read this and also had the same thought as I was watching the Sunday morning news program on ABC with my hubby. I said to him (before I read your post) that I hoped that some really damning stuff would come out about T and some senators/congress members and money was involved. This news would be so disturbing that the Senate would either vote to convict or censure and 14th amendment him so he can't run again. But I told my husband I know it doesn't make any sense but somehow I think if the news was so bad financially, that it had the ability to possibly connect so many GOP senators to it, that they would maybe even suddenly have to convict him. I say this because I believe strongly that their ties to him are not only selfish so they keep the constituents happy, but because they are also connected somehow in illegal financial ways.
Right after we spoke about that, Pelosi was seen in a clip on 'This Week' on ABC saying that she is beefing up security for members of congress because the threat is from within the chamber.
Feinstein showed some strange behavior during the last impeachment trial when she hugged Lindsey Graham and I felt she was not well then.

@lynnventura these are challenging times.
Others more plugged in than me have said that darkness thrashes harder and gets louder when it is exposed and losing its grip. Hate, vitriol, inhumanity and lies are on full display. No doubt violence is the last act of desperation. However, the darkness never factored in that the rebound effect of suppression would be the creation of generations with grit, perseverance, and humanity. It’s going toe-to-toe with it’s own positive creation.

I think we might need to put a lot of light around Pelosi and others. Unimaginable yet believable that the greater threat may be from within.
