I don't agree with the idea that playing by the rules is an Achilles Heel. There's no quantifiable evidence that playing dirty is a surefire path to electoral victory, either. Propagating lies certainly didn't work last year or in 2018, so I don't see why that method would be useful in the future. If anything, the cosmic shifts that occurred in 2020 have made the collective much more sensitive to energy.

I can agree here - probably a better phrasing is that there's a lot of people out there who
vote blue no matter who", but there's also a lot of people out there still energized by the Trump movement who "will vote red even if we end up dead" - I very much want to believe that everyone who made the outcome of the 2020 election possible will come out and strengthen that victory in 2022.  But there's a large swath of people out there who haven't studied history, confuse socialism and communism, and are alarmingly still energized about the issues that won Trump the election.  Meanwhile, we keep the filibuster in place, McConnell is putting the 1/6 commission in jeopardy and the D's continue to fight fair rather than take away the powers and bullhorn of a group that has proven time and time again is untrustworthy.  I wholeheartedly love that they fight with principles - but I'm not certain unless indictments start flying soon that it's going to gain them much if anything in 2022 unless they at least swing back when they're punched in the face.

I'm in a weird place right now ?.  Read this with love.

@rosieheart  45's birthday is June 14th. With the investigations in to criminal charges, and the Jan 6th commission passing the House.. seems like the he is the one getting the "happy birthday" Merrick Garland is :  https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/merrick-garland-puts-domestic-terror-and-civil-rights-at-top-of-justice-agenda/ar-BB1gQZou

on it! He feels domestic terrorism is a huge threat still. I still sense another brief uprising as the last gasp of "true believers"  like this one: Greene, a Republican extremist, posted a photo of herself with three other Republicans on the House floor without masks. The Georgia lawmaker tweeted: “End the oppression!” along with: “#FreeYourFace.”

I recall the old saying.. "you can lead a horticulture to but you can't make her think" as Dorothy Parker once said. Pardon my vulgarity ~ but that pretty much sums this person up.

Hi everyone!

Here are a few things I got during meditations over the last few days:

May 19, 2021

Melania goes to Europe. She wants no part of whatever is going on with the family.

2026 - humans go to the moon again. New space race…

May 21, 2021

M. Pence will be subpoenaed to testify about what happened during the Capitol siege.

I had not thought about this before. Holy starchy underwear, Batman! Pence is not at all my idea of an ideal politician, but one thing you can be sure of: he is sincere in his faith. He won't lie under oath, you can be sure of it. He's not always smart enough to know what is actually true, but he is always honest enough to say what it is that he believes to be true. He will not paint a pretty Trumpian picture.

He still seems to have political aspirations, so I would think that he would be as brief as possible if he actually were required to testify.

He'll distort, and if pressed, I think he'll lie. Religious extremists like Pence don't think lying in the service of what they believe is the greater good is actually lying. Or that lying to immoral liberals is really lying at all. He believes his god has plans for him and that anything he has to do to get to a place of power (where, in his mind, he can do the most "good") is okey dokey. Look what he's gone along with and enabled over the past 4+ years.

45 is an amoral (and immoral) opportunist. Pence is a true-believing zealot. I don't know which is worse.

@walden-ponderer. I suspect that he might not lie under oath, but he's quite capable of lying.  He did it frequently as Gov. of Indiana and especially as Trump's VP.  I have no idea how he sees his faith since he neglects numerous scriptures when convenient for his political aspirations.

@seeker4 bingo.

He's a master manipulator, when listening him speak I was always in awe of how skilled he is in maneuvering around and twisting the truth. I am not holding my breath on him being the savior the democrats have been waiting on. If there was any good in him, it's been permanently tainted a dark orange hue by his continued proximity near the tanned one.

This is what I got during today’s meditation:

I see justice. She is holding a sword forward and high in one hand and is holding the scales of justice back behind her to protect them. I heard, “Justice will be done.”

I am pretty sure that this refers to many of the illegal things that happened during the last 4+ years that the perpetrators think they got away with. The kinds of things we have been wondering if they would be addressed or not. I am, of course, open to other interpretations if anyone has any. I felt it meant not to lose hope and that the processes are quietly but steadily moving forwards.

@baba. "Justice will be done."  What beautiful words.  Years ago when Trump's criminality began to send ripples of fear through us, a friend of mine--a federal judge said exactly that.  I admit that there were times that unnerved her too, but I kept remembering her words.  "The wheels of justice turn slowly, but I believe it will save us."  I hung on those words and allowed them to calm me through so much of this.  Thank you, Baba.  Your visions calm me too.
