If the dems were very clever, they would (after the whole thing comes to bite them in their butt by lying and hitching their wagon to the former, twice impeached, insurrectionist, stealing POTUS who is still stealing the GOP's money) show the American people that THEY (the GOP) are the "deep state" and "establishment" that seeks to steal and abuse their money by taking their hard earned tax dollars for themselves...and keep that rhetoric going for all of time. ?
Unfortunately the Achilles heel of the Democratic Party is that they believe in and adhere to certain kinds of rules. It’s Michelle Obama’s “They go low, we go high” rule. And I, and many others totally respect that approach, but it doesn’t win elections. To go down that path, even though it’s literally true - runs against how they generally try to act as a party. As such it allows the GQP to continue to propagate the lies with a message that resonates with unschooled masses.
That said, we may see more of it from them than we are accustomed to because the of how crazy the GQP has literally become. If Mitt Romney had become President, I would have fumed for a few days but feel we would have been some general level of okay in the long run. The days of Mitt Romneys (and Liz Cheneys) appear to be over as skid marks on the underpants of democracy like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Ted Cruz become the standard bearers the party is flocking behind.
Here are a few things that I got during my meditation today:
I see the painting, ”The Last Supper”. The people in the picture are all giving their neighbors Covid shots instead of eating. (not sure what this means!)
Don Jr. has a meltdown and needs help.
Roger Stone is in trouble again.
I see a deck of cards being shuffled and cards flying out. This refers to a reshuffling of the politics of Florida which comes about as a result of the plea agreement of M. Gaetz’s friend. The cards that fly out are politicians that lose power as a result of things that come to light in FL.
Humans learn new things about how whales communicate with each other and how to decode their language.
@baba. Perhaps the Last Supper scene implies that in giving each other the Covid-19 vaccine that they are sharing a "new covenant" and a "foundation"? "A new dispensation was on the horizon. In God’s grace, the New Covenant applies to more than Israel; everyone who has faith in Christ will be saved (see Ephesians 2:12–14). "
@triciact Regarding Liz, I have to admit I got a little teary eyed when she was talking about The Constitution. Then I remembered she is Darth’s daughter! Halliburton smiled. I care not that the Repuglies are eating their young! #ThoughtsAndPrayersNRA
@baba If I had to guess the last supper one is probably a future newspaper cartoon or an art skit and you got a preview.
I don't agree with the idea that playing by the rules is an Achilles Heel. There's no quantifiable evidence that playing dirty is a surefire path to electoral victory, either. Propagating lies certainly didn't work last year or in 2018, so I don't see why that method would be useful in the future. If anything, the cosmic shifts that occurred in 2020 have made the collective much more sensitive to energy. So I think it's well-advised, here on out, for any candidate running for public office to let their truth and goodwill shine bright. Voters will resonate with that.
Since this is the "random predictions" thread, I'm going to say that politics will be much more heart centered going forward, to the point where people will gradually stop identifying with political parties. This shift is already underway, but it could take years for people to realize what is happening.
@dannyboy I agree with @coyote on the Achilles Heel thing with regard to the D's. Rather than being a weakness, it's their strength. Since the R's are playing fast and loose with the truth, the law, and everything else, the D's need to follow the law with all t's crossed and all i's dotted - in addition to owning up to any mistakes - so that 1) the people can see that while the D's may not be perfect, they are nonetheless the only ones who are putting their money where their mouths are with regard to the U.S. being a nation of laws, and 2) if they don't follow the law, the other side can simply point to that and say "See?! They do it too!", and then we're fully and completely done both as a democracy and as a country.
@Walden Ponderer, I think you make a very good point.
After the election was called I felt relieved, quickly followed with the intuitive hit saying "Take a breath and gather your strength. This is a brief pause then back to work. We cannot rest on our laurels".
It's important that we don't get too comfortable or complacent. I agree, a little bit of healthy fear can work to our benefit.
I only got one thing during my meditation today:
I asked when T will be indicted. The reply: “July. Happy birthday! Haha”
My spirit guides must be in a funny mood today!
Well, with the announcement from the NY Attorney General that they're now pursuing criminal charges in their investigation of Trump Org, this prediction might very well be on the money.
And July 4th IS America's "Birthday."
@baba. With the announcement yesterday that Laetitia James is moving from a civil to a criminal investigation into the Trump Organization, your prediction regarding a Don Jr. Meltdown might be related.
