@lynnventura. Going along with the earlier predictions that the Democrats are going to be okay and Lynn's sense that a turnaround may already be starting, I call your attention to Michael Steele, Jennifer Rubin and someone else (Forgot the name) on Velshi this morning.  They say that a new party is forming to challenge Trump's Party (also known as the current GOP).  According to their reports, they've been in talks about this since 2016.  They said more will be coming out very soon.  I will not hold my breath until I actually see it, but they want it to be based on conservative values (Whatever that means today.), bipartisanship work in Congress, etc.

@lynnventura

@unk-p

@coyote

You guys were so thoughtful in how you responded to me.

Thank you!

I absolutely agree that the bar has been set very low.

I want to clarify something.  When I said I admire her stance in the party, I meant I admire how she is standing up for reality and truth which is lacking (nearly non-existent ) in her party.  She is not following the Trump cult edict.  She is a lone voice telling anyone in her party who will listen that not only is the emperor NOT wearing any clothes, he knows he is naked and so does the party and and she will not be  complicit in this deception.

Do I like her political viewpoints?  Absolutely not.

I believe  there could be an entire semester devoted to the topic at a university.

The bar for the Republican Party has been set low because that is where their members have decided to dwell now, they are in the bowels  of a foul and rancid darkness.  I will give anyone credit for removing that stench from their person in an attempt to rediscover the good of their own humanity.

I recognize there are times when even the class bully needs to be praised for doing the right thing.  Especially the class bully.  We need them to find that light and let it i,  feel the good so there is a chance it becomes part of them,

She is doing the right thing at this moment in time .  For all the shade I have thrown at republicans over the years for their unethical or uncaring choices, I feel it is important to cheer them on when they do something I view as positive.  So I cheer Liz Cheney on today.  I hope there will be more occasions to do so in the future.

Hope is important.

I don't know if she will deserve a Profile in Courage Award.  I don't know if I would nominate her for one if could.  But it should be a debated topic of conversation at some point for the powers that be and like we are doing now in the forum .  It shouldn't be a brave thing to do, to speak the truth and call out the darkness.  But it is.

I am grateful we can discuss things like this in a sane and measured way, with care and respect here, in this beautiful place of light.

've said this before: the predictions on this site give me hope that not only is a turnaround coming, we may actually be in it already and just not able to see the forrest for the trees. However, I do feel a sense of, if not outright doom, then extremely serious concern. There is window to right the ship. Let's all recognize that. Vote, send healing energy, educate yourselves, try to do the same with others.

Love this!

political experts are now predicting that the GOP will take the House because of Census changes,

Nope. The experts are playing pretend oracle. They're trying to read the terrain with old maps.

Back in the winter, when everyone was still talking about the White House transition, I had a strong impression that the Dems would increase their margins in both chambers of Congress in 2022, and I stand by that appraisal. I also gathered that the Midterm outcomes would fly in the face of conventional wisdom, which is already pontificating about how the opposition should surge in midterm elections. These talking head "experts" obviously haven't learned the lessons of 2016; conventional wisdom in politics doesn't mean anything anymore.

Those of us who are energy sensitive can already tell how the animating energy behind the GOP is in terminal decline. Just the fact that they've become the fan club of a one-term 75-year-old former president who was impeached twice is pretty damn metaphorical. I sense that an additional wrench will be thrown in the GOP machine. This could be further disclosure of illegal behavior, the formation of that 3rd party @seeker4 mentioned, or both. In the interim, our job is to not get distracted by the chatter and hold fast to patience and our observations as intuitives. @tgraf66 has an interesting astrological perspective on this. And as @lynnventura said, vote, send healing energy, and educate yourself.

I also still feel that the Dems will retain a small majority after the midterms. This will have to do with many different factors. I sense the the Republican Party is going to have some troubles due to things coming out about their past dealings. It may even go back to things that come out about the NRA. Added to that, I do not see a quick ending to their internal arguments about the direction of their party. The Dem. majority may be small due to gerrymandering, but I think it will hold.

@baba, @coyote, @bluebelle, Thank you for your beautiful visions.  I also feel the dems will keep their majority in the House and Senate in 2022. During a Circle of Light meditation when we were opening our hearts to the people of American and the world, I received an unexpected assurance from spirit that we would be okay and that we would prevail. I trust the unexpected and unsolicited visions the most.  :-)

@ghandigirl. I love your vision. Who knew during that meditation that someone in the group was seeing Howdy Doody?!

@jeanne-mayell

I trust the unexpected and unsolicited visions the most. :-)

I have had, of all things, the name Pat Robertson popping up for some reason.  As you may know, Pat Robertson is the head of the ironically named Christian Broadcasting Network.  I feel like he is going to be in the news again, shortly.  And not for predicting the end of the world, again, as he did for 1982, and April 29, 2007, and once more, five years after the 2020 election.  The 2020 election that the "Lord" told him would be won by TFG(!).

 Robertson has never met a demagogue that he didn't, um, idolize, so of course he endorsed T, both times.  He did make news, though, when he rebuked him for betraying the Kurds in Syria.  Robertson also came down hard on former Officer Chauvin(ist pig), for some reason.  I have to wonder if it is because he does sense the end of something- maybe not *The World*, but the end of *his* world?  I am not predicting it- just questioning the abrupt change of a well-known authoritarian.

 I first became aware of Mr. Robertson in the early eighties.  Flipping channels while skipping school, i landed on a talk show.  It was the 700 Club. There was Pat, going on and on, about this emerging musician who was going to ruin the world and destroy the youth with his profane immorality and licentiousness.  I hadn't yet heard of this artist.  His name was Prince.  Why was this old white guy so upset about a young black man expressing his sexuality?  I be-bopped my way down to the record store, to find out!

 The single i bought that day was called "Controversy":

I just can't believe all the things people say (controversy)
Am I black or white, am I straight or gay? (Controversy)
Do I believe in God?
Do I believe in me?
(Controversy)
I can't understand human curiosity (controversy)
Was it good for you, was I what you wanted me to be? (Controversy)
Do you get high?
Does your daddy cry?
(Controversy)
Do I believe in God?
Do I believe in me?
Some people wanna die so they can be free
I said, life is just a game, we're all just the same (do you wanna play?)
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever
Love Him, Love Him, baby
Ooh, yeah, yeah
(Controversy)
Oh, yeah
Listen
People call me rude, I wish we all were nude
I wish there was no black and white, I wish there were no rules
People call me rude, I wish we all were nude
I wish there was no black and white, I wish there were no rules
People call me rude, I wish we all were nude
I wish there was no black and white, I wish there were no rules
People call me rude, I wish we all were nude
I wish there was no black and white, I wish there were no rules
Yeah, baby
(Controversy)
Oh, yeah
(Controversy)
Do I believe in God?
Do I believe in me? (Let me tell ya)
Some people wanna die so they can be free
I said, life is just a game, we're all just the same (don't ya wanna play?)
Hey!
