The Ohio Supreme Court has also struck down Republican gerrymandered districts this month.

Wasn't sure where to post this article, but I feel it explains a lot about the mental processes in Trump voters.
New research on Trump voters: They're not the sharpest tools in the box (msn.com)
In case this link doesn't work, it basically details the differences on how voters who support Trump are different from the rest of us. But instead of focusing on cultural and religious factors, it studies how Trump supporters, as a whole, are unable to use their minds like the rest of us. No, it doesn't mean that they are stupid. Rather, the problem is that they are unable to use cognitive thinking on a higher level. They are more likely to hear catch phrases and simple slogans instead of dealing with the nuance of politics or other subjects. That is why Trump has been able to get them under his sway. By saying slogans "Make America Great Again," Trump is able to speak their language, because they are unable to process a more detailed message.
Of course, there are other factors. Religious fanatism plays a role, in that many private schools indoctrinate this type of thinking that makes people more suspectable to supporting authoritarians and dictators (it is easier if you believe that there is only one right way and woe to anyone who questions it). Also, a large number of people who engage in homeschooling tend to have right-leaning tendencies.
What does this mean? Well, based on my reading of this article, it repeats what I have said for years. Quite frankly, Trump supporters cannot be reasoned with simply because they can't process the detailed nuanced information that the rest of us can. They are more likely to cling to the slogans and catch phrases.
I sincerely wish that Democrats will wake up to this fact and start using simple messages to these people. Telling them why they are wrong is a waste of time because they are incapable of understanding. Further, they don't want to understand. They fear what they don't understand, and thus this is the reason they hate us so much despite the fact that we haven't done anything to them.
Ask yourselves, have liberals or other people ever staged the level of violence that Trump and his supporters constantly demonstrate over and over again?
Regardless, it is clear that small messages are the way to go. For Democrats, they need to take a page out of the Republican playbook and refer to any and all people who support Putin as a traitor and a supporter of the murder of millions of innocent people. If it were up to me, I would call them "Putin's puppets." Show pictures of Trump and his supporters praise Putin like he is the second Messiah and then show a backdrop of the carnage in Ukraine. End the message by asking whether you support your children's future in the hands of those who adore a mass murderer. Make it clear, concise, and to-the-point. And no more apologizing and trying to give them a way out. Call them "Putin's Puppets" and "Trump Traitors." Simple phrases, repeated over and over, may finally wake these people up. And if that doesn't work, then nothing can.
Yes, there is a lot of data on behavior that the Dems would be wise to read. Rousing emotions in viewers, using alliteration, rhymes, and repetition in messages and negative visuals are effective tools for persuasion.
As, I mentioned in a previous post, I think an evil looking Putin should be depicted on billboards and other more modern media as a puppeteer making his minions dance--- Trump, Gabbard, Rand Paul, McConnell, Rubio, Graham and many others. "Trump Traitors" and "Putin Puppets" are not only catchy phrases but sadly apt.
