As an interesting fact of the midterms, the current majority is lame duck.
Speaking of lame duck, if there is a vacant seat in SCOTUS while Donald Trump or JD Vance are in charge, the senate must refuse to confirm ANYONE they nominate. The rethugs set that precedent with Obama, so thank you very much, GOP, our Senate must do the same thing.
