The pollen is my concern in the air.... not the Covid-19 :-) I have a lot of allergies...we are known as the allergy capitol of the world. I am in a semi-rural area and a good distance between dwellings.. however the Bradford pears pollen (one of my bad allergens) and oak and cedar and coming soon privet(lots in my yard and around me) are more my concern.... as they tend to run down your immune system...I have to take Zyrtec twice daily to prevent allergic blepharitis at this time of year... I consider it a small price to pay for air exchange and mental health benefits at this time. I just came in from mowing my weeds LOL As far as "everyone" ...... "Sometimes God's greatest gift is unanswered prayers" :-)
I’m a nurse who is also intuitive. This is my third pandemic. I’ve worked in the face of the worst bugs and didn’t fear as I had high quality protective equipment. I am truly scared for the first time. The CDC has just announced that it is encouraging COVID 19 positive healthcare people to still work as long as we wear a mask. 45 outbid governors on needed vents after telling them they had to fend for themselves with the virus. This decision to force us to work while infected makes feel the vector of infection will continue to increase. Healthcare workers of all ages once infected tend to have serious symptoms.
Any healing practice towards us as a group of healthcare humans would be appreciated.
Does anyone have a more refined sense of timeline here with the pandemic? My gut says the news isn’t always accurate with the Covid 19 predictions.
I do appreciate what the virus’ effects for us will be spiritually on the whole of humanity.
Thank you all for your spiritual work,
E
Oops! Sorry, I totally misunderstood. Never mind. Carry on. ? ? (BTW, I'm very familiar with the Unmitigated EVIL that is Pollen! ? )
No worries.... it's hard to hear inflection/word usage in text. ? It's all good! The sunlight and air exchange are worth it!!! I love that so many people are turning to nature - instinctively doing the things to reconnect with Mother Earth and Heal on many levels.
Staffs member for Pence tested positive
(CNN) - A staff member in Vice President Mike Pence's office has tested positive for coronavirus, Pence's spokesperson said Friday evening.
"This evening we were notified that a member of the Office of the Vice President tested positive for the Coronavirus. Neither President Trump nor Vice President Pence had close contact with the individual," said Katie Miller. "Further contact tracing is being conducted in accordance with CDC guidelines."
How long can Pence and T keep distancing themselves.
Welcome to our group!
Oh, how we all appreciate you and all who work the front line trying to cope with limited or non-existent supplies on top of so many other sacrifices and challenges!
We have a close friend who has worked in both Seattle and Portland hospitals, who sent his wife and 3 boys to her parents house to keep them safe from...him!
He says he is in close contact with doctors, nurses and pharmacists in both Seattle and Portland. And comes home late and exhausted. He cannot stand the thought of potentially infect them. He has one mask that doesn't fit him and knows it's not keeping potential airborne germs out
It's not just that their patients are dying at major hospitals but their co-workers and friends are working through long long shifts without clean scrubs or even a facemask that fits and of course everything is being reused. He shared all the same stories we've seen or heard in the news. People needing ventilators or respirators and not enough to go around.
Both Seattle and Portland are now using various fairgrounds or sports fields and setting up huge tents for recuperating patients that aren't on life saving equipment. He says its inexcusable that our health care systems were ever allowed to get to this point.
Big pharma big for profit health care systems focusing on profits not people. Things we all know but cannot understand or accept. We all know the whys and wherefores but at times like this the victims and caregivers all pay the highest price.
He asked us to pray for him.Something we never expected this brilliant, caring young man to ever say to us. The thought of getting it himself is bearable. He says he'll work until he drops or get sick himself. There aren't even people to do all of the most essential jobs as it is. Breaks my heart.
We all think and pray and hold all of you in our highest light and vibration of love.
Know you are all always in our thoughts. Bless you all!

This is just to give some hope that not everyone dies. I know that is what the media constantly put out there. They need to put more of the people who got better and survived instead all this gloom and doom. In Italy where is seams that gloom is on everyday.
Amid the bad news, a 22-day-old baby admitted to the hospital who tested positive for the coronavirus has recovered and been allowed to go home, according to Il Messagero.
If a small baby can survive so can we.
Hey all!
I took the Intuitive Way 1&2 courses in 2018ish (hi, classmates!). I've been lurking here for a while, very anxious at first, but I have light to share.
I see so much positivity, like an umbrella over the fear and pain. I'm a frequent hiker/biker/jogger and since the Shelter in Place order (I'm in the CA Bay Area), the neighborhoods and parks and trails have quadrupled with people-- but SMILING people. It's amazing how much strangers make eye contact and smile as we pass each other, like everyone wants to share the teeniest bit of hope with each other. I'm someone who really values happiness/following one's heart, so I'm usually saddened when I see that my very busy/corporate siblings work long hours and only spend a couple hours with their babies, and are too exhausted at the end of the day to go out or do anything. My college friends always complained "I'd love to keep playing guitar, but I don't have any time."
But now... I grin like an idiot when I go for walks. Each small cluster of people at the park is so beautiful: a father teaching his son to hit baseballs, kids somersaulting on the grass with their parents watching and laughing, couples out with their dogs, so many people OUT enjoying the sunshine, riding bikes when they normally wouldn't think to, spending time with one another and noticing nature more. Because people get bored at home I guess, they venture outside. It was surreal to see a group of siblings playing basketball in their yard, and that empty street enabled a woman to watch her young girls ride tricycles in circles. Everyone greets each other now, like we are cheering each other on.
I think we are looking up from our phones more, appreciating each other, and exploring options we haven't considered, like my best friend in LA; he was working a 9-5 office tech industry job, but recently he discovered his passion for yoga and has become very good at it, to the point where he started as a yoga instructor a couple months ago. He was laid off by the tech company yesterday and since no one is hiring, he will probably need to sell his car and move back to the Bay Area. He told me on the phone that he thinks this might be an opportunity for a fresh start, maybe a simpler life, and made him realize that he may value yoga/passion over office removed link Time will tell.
With these long hours, I think people will delve into things they "didn't have time for" or "weren't practical", because facing mortality and crisis, people are realizing what they value most. Writing that song, planting those tomatoes, cooking that recipe, or realizing that nature is calm and beautiful since they have little else to do but go outside into it. Already we (at least I) have realized how much we take for granted. Many people are eating healthier now to boost their immune system, walking more, appreciating how easily fresh food lines our grocery shelves. When this is over, I think we will be a more creative people, a kinder people, and a grateful people.
Plus, bidets may well make their way into America.
SENDING LOVE AND LIGHT TO YOU ALL!!
Julie
@michele-b Thank you so much Michele. I’m grateful for all of you and to the work done on this site. ???
If this is true, I can't tell you how angry this makes me. No, not that you're posting this, but that our f*ing oligarchy is asking people to sew a medical product because of their epic fails on everything. Is this 1918?? For crap's sake, it's 100+ years later!
Laura, I couldn't agree with you more! I almost had to go for a run after reading this just to blow off steam and lower my blood pressure! (and I haven't run in years, lol!)
If this is true, then what on the Goddess's green Earth is going on? Will we have to host a bake sale to raise funds for vital medical equipment?
Between this and the Apricot Menace going off on that reporter today I am, once again, needing to calm myself down!
But I will end on a happier note: here in Oregon spring is in full bloom! Flowers, birds and sunshine. I went for a walk and listened to some great music and it was fantastic - just what the doctor ordered! (and it stopped me from wanting to beat up an appliance, as one other poster so beautifully put it).
Governor Cuomo asked for medical mask and gowns to be made which in its self is sad. The great news is that many have heard him and are going to make the mask and gowns needed. Fashion designer, people of all walks and life that have sewing machines or owns companies are stepping up. Such beauty knowing that even though the federal government has abandoned us, people are hearing the call for help.
So very sorry to hear this one sad story on top of another. Hope they all get through their personally hard and sad times and challenges as well as the bigger one of the coronavirus!
But please you take real good care of yourself Elaine! Its sure not easy being older and having to face so many things at once is it?
Sending you a great big hug and thinking very best thoughts for Smokey Joe and your ex boss. So hard all the way around.
Big big hug ?
@stillnessnmind Welcome back to the forum and bless you for your service. I remember you from years back. On Wednesday night we did a group healing and we sent energy to all of you front line health workers. We will continue to do so every week.
Thank you so much Jeanne. I never really left. I’ve been quietly reading and absorbing the benefits of this site all along. Prior to the virus really taking hold of our collective awareness, I experienced a flood of intuitive experiences that were mostly about what my colleagues and I were about to encounter. It felt like it was also time to become more “overt” in my participation here.
This has been a rough news day for a lot of healthcare peeps. Yet, I just was made aware of something that could be good news from my part of the world.

Big blessings to all?
You and your fellow health care workers are the lights which burn bright during these dark times. Our world will owe you a debt which can not be repaid. I have the upmost respect for you and I send my love to you. Know that I will remember you throughout my day.
Your post is beautiful! Thank you for sharing and know that we will hold you in light and prayers as the world marches forward through this war.
We must all do our best to stay sheltered and safe so that we can help "flatten the curve". The curve is life.
Such heartbreaking news. It is very loving and kind of you to let Smokey stay in the trailer on your property. I hope he stays well. Please continue to look out for yourself. Prayers for both families.
@lovendures so grateful to this group for holding us up energetically. where I am, we are just barely at the beginning. Bless and thank you all?
Welcome and please know we have your back in as much as we are virtually able to. My feeling, based on both intuition and the Imperial College Report, is that IF we are successful at flattening the curve (and I think we'll have some success, but not total), restrictions will be lifted, people will get complacent, and this will re-surge in the Fall. If we're completely successful at flattening it, this will be a long, slow slog for the rest of this year.
@Katieinpdx
Good for you. Here in sunny San Diego it's been cold and dark for most of the past month, hoping the weather turns soon. Hubby and I are considering driving out to the desert and walking around away from everyone, just to have a change of scenery. Maybe we can pack a picnic...
