@maggieci thank you very much. I do know you’re correct and it can be so much worse as w early Covid cases.
I just got off the phone w my son in LA and he shared the collective trauma he’s witnessing out there. People are plodding along but are sad and confused. I imagine I’m picking up on this, as well.
Enjoy your day and thanks again for the uplifting message.
Hello Lovely People. I'm in Missouri, no mask mandates ever and our AG is suing Saint Louis over masking in schools. I think it will be state to state but I see us closing down again. Our children's hospitals have full ICU's. My nephews had already opted for virtual and are vaxed. I also see some shortages in the supply chain. Nothing huge but I've prepared as if for a big storm. Sending lots of love to everyone!
@earthangel - My nephew and all his family got the Covid variant. They are all vaccinated except their 6-year old son. We live Oregon where vaccinations are mostly accepted and our county has the highest rate of vaccinated in the state. The nephew figures he got it from a co-worker. Symptoms for him were mild and frequent temperature checks were normal. His wife works as a pharmacy assistant and the following day at work she didn't feel well so they ran a test which came up positive. We have gone back to wearing masks in public places after having gotten comfortable relaxing restrictions. Now we are becoming cautious again.
AZ Governor Ducey has a mutiny on his hands. Schools are rebelling and going against his orders. Some will require masks, others will require exposed kids to stay home 10 days.
Sounds like a good old fashion Boston tea party.
They are following AZ State and county health guidelines, aka science

COVID cases since June
Total cases per million since June 1, 2020
this an outstanding interactive chart that track the pandemic by state from June 20 threw July 21
it clearly shows by state, what has been happening..
@barbarmar22 I’m relieved to know the symptoms were mild for your nephew. We’ve had a myriad of complaints here on outer cape from the latest delta outbreak. Several people are posting about prolonged (three weeks) loss of both taste and smell. I’m grateful to live in a beautiful natural haven that people worldwide want to explore. However, we’re counting down til that last week in August when the masses get back to business! Although, not as usual, sadly and for sure. Be safe and well!
@earthangel Sending prayers Light and Love and asking that you are yours are sent the help you need to not only hang on... but overcome and find your Joy .. in spite of all that is going on around you. ❤️ ?
@earthangel - Yes, they were mostly concerned for their 6-yr old son who is not vaccinated and the mother-in-law who is age 70. The young and old seem to be most vulnerable. Thank you for the kind words.
Warm regards.
- @journeywithme2 Thank you so much. We took a long walk into the woods today. Warm sun and cool breeze were invigorating and nurturing. Nature always provides!
