”That said, we have posted over 70 separate lines of visions from people here that either there is a pandemic or illness going on, that there is a bug that is being studied in the lab, that people are sheltering down, that store shelves are empty as well as streets.”
wow. Looks like I had my mind on trump and the economy and totalitarianism that I didn’t somehow see this! My apologies.
Anita
This so interesting to me, as I learn more about intuition and have followed this site for the last few years. I am sure I read through all of those things! But our minds don't always put the puzzle together, even if it is right in front of us, do they? We truly see/understand only as much as our minds and perspectives allow us at a given time. Fascinating, frightening, but ultimately, humbling. Makes me want to keep on this path of centering/meditating (that I have just started on) and keeping my mind open to all the possibilities.
?
My heart hurts for all the families who lost loved ones. My sister’s husband just died from cancer and I just spent the last week with her and watched her struggle each day with her loss.
We knew that something huge was coming.
For four straight years I posted on the main prediction page that I saw late 2019 and 2020 as a time when there would be a major game-changing crash of some kind. For a few years, I thought it was going to be an economic crash but one that was so big that it would cause a paradigm shift.
Do you know how badly I would like to respond to your message Jeanne, especially after what you said in Monday's class and Wednesday's meditation?
It would start with 2 words. "Yes Jeanne..."
(I hope you can hear me smiling right now.)
I think we all were envisioning something different. The pandemic caught us by surprise because we were expecting something else, like a sudden deep-dive stock market crash, or a quickly unraveling executive branch of the U.S. government turning full fascist on us, or catastrophic climate change acceleration.
These were our expectations, because we could potentially "see" them from where we stood. And some of what we expected to see has happened and is currently happening. Thankfully, people in many circles are working hard to protect the good parts of what's left of our social and political systems; others are working to try to keep us from economic collapse. More work needs to be done to prevent climate catastrophes.
Like Jeanne said, the pandemic was not something we could clearly "see" because we had no frame of reference. Only now that we are IN a pandemic are we reading about past events like the Spanish flu and understanding more personally what it means to go through a health crisis like that. This is the reason our current situation caught us by surprise, even though so many predictions pointed to it.
Had the spirits whispered "Covid" or "Corona" to us back then, it would not have meant a thing. And had they said "global pandemic," the fear these words would have generated would have been too great, I think.
Instead, the spirit world told us things like "something big" happens to "slow us down." Jeanne saw a "lightning strike" for this time, which in retrospect is quite accurate.
Some people, including Karen and Andrew, offered predictions of a "virus," a "flu," and a "major public event."
But our expectations, for the most part, were elsewhere, and the swiftness with which our worlds would change as a result of this pandemic was not something we anticipated or could have ever imagined.
I got a letter from IQ45’s campaign asking for a donation. I took the letter outside, stomped on it, and then burned it in my grill. Not too dramatic.
@Anita, @CC21 and Beautiful Community,
You can find many of the hits we've had about the pandemic and the crash here: https://www.jeannemayell.com/2020-predictions-that-have-come-true-help-us-find-more/
It doesn't even include all the hits we had for May.
So how to see the big picture:
We were always going to have a game-changing event in 2020. I saw it in 2013. Although it turned out to be more of a one-two punch than I could have imagined. We don't want to get back to normal, though.
But Anita, your post has gotten me thinking that I should be more blunt about what I feel is coming.
There may be future events we can't predict because we don't have a point of reference to recognize them when we sense them in meditation. But we do know this:
The pandemic is only a warning for what is to come.
No, i'm not saying there will be another pandemic. I don't know about that. The key to understanding what is coming so you won't be caught off guard is to understand that natural systems evolve exponentially.
The pandemic grew exponentially. By the time, our clueless selfish POTUS realized there was an epidemic in the U.S., it was rising nearly straight up, doubling first every few weeks, then doubling every day.
Why do people need to understand what exponential growth means? Because climate change is also exponential.
Climate change is something we know is coming. And it is not just sea rise, but heat, drought, flood and storms. (And pestilence, tree death, species extinction, and more that we still don't understand).
It is all rising exponentially.
Talking to our whole community now -- If that threatens your peace of mind, then you have to find strength, because you are needed.
You did not come here because it was going to be a bowl of cherries. You came here to help out because you are more evolved than most and you are strong and awake and care about people and animals and our earth. Being angry only helps if it spurs you to positive action. So channel your anger into getting people to the polls in November. You can join a postcard-writing group to help people get re-registered to vote, or help people get to the polls, or join a protest, or donate to Act Blue, or canvas for a blue candidate. Or you can do all you can to reduce fossil fuel emissions in your vehicle, home, and your purchases.
Or you can just find peace while staying awake to it all and become a force of healing and love - that is a lot!
If it is too much for someone to bear to realize how climate change is working, then you have your answer to the question of whether you will see what is coming in the future.
For several years I've been sensing in my personal life that a major public health crisis would eventually push me to start pursuing "unorthodox" healing modalities beyond the biomedical paradigm. Although I kept thinking there would be an epidemic of antibiotic-resistant superbugs inside hospitals, and I had the timeframe 2022-2025 in mind. So I was still taken by surprise.
Note: we have experienced a global pandemic: swine flue from 2009-2010, and up to 1.4 billion people were infected in that timeframe. However, the swine flu pandemic was mild, and on a scale from 1 to 5 on the Pandemic Severity Index, it was classified as "1" by the CDC. For context, the Hong Kong flu of 1968-69 is classified as a "2," while the 1918-19 influenza outbreak is classified as a "5." When @lovendures started posting about the novel coronavirus in January, I wasn't paying much attention because I thought that maybe it would turn out to be only as virulent as the swine flue. As @grace says, we didn't have any frame of reference for anticipating this.
If it is too much for someone to bear to realize how climate change is working, then you have your answer to the question of whether you will see what is coming in the future.
I completely agree with you, I may be afraid at times about what is to come, but I have to try to turn that around to something positive. I can see the changes all around me including the increase in storms where I live. I believe deep down I will live to see these changes and will lend my hand in whatever way I'm needed. I didn't know if you were referring to those of us who are afraid as well or just those who are turning there back on the climate like it isn't happen or if you are referring to seeing the visions.
@lenor I got a letter from IQ45’s campaign asking for a donation. I took the letter outside, stomped on it, and then burned it in my grill. Not too dramatic.
if his campaign is dumb enough to send one of those to me, i will take the postage-paid donation envelope, and stuff it full of Covid 19 obituaries, and send *that* back to them.
Or i could just tape it to a brick, and let his campaign pay a little more postage.
