Is my poltergeist back or is this something else?

Hey, everybody!

Along with the weird health things going on right now, I have some things that have been happening that I think mean someone is possibly trying to contact me or haunt me, like a former resident of this apartment, or if my poltergeist is back. Anyway, here goes.

In November I woke up and a decorative pillow that I know was on top of the freezer was in the hallway across the room. I figured maybe I was sleepwalking, although I've never done that before.

In December, after waking up and opening the blinds to the patio, I saw that a wrought iron plant stand I keep against the patio wall had been moved to the center of the patio. I also attributed that to sleepwalking.

On February 28th, as I was getting ready to bed, I looked out of the bedroom towards the living room and a memory cube with pictures of my late husband Hank and I was lit. It was a softer light than it normally has and there were no batteries in it, so it shouldn't have lit up at all. It only stayed lit for about thirty seconds. I even check to see if I had put batteries in it, but no.

Last week, the torch lamp in the living room came on by itself. It has the type of switch that you have to turn and it's rather stiff, so it just didn't slip. This time I saw it happen.

Yesterday as I was going out and locking the door, I heard a man's voice, probably in his 20s or early 30s say hello and it sounded like he was right behind me. I turned around and there was no one there. No one in the parking lot, and no one on the stairs. That's when I decided I should ask people here what's going on.

I did have a mischievous poltergeist when I was in my mid-20s and I'm wondering if it's back. I don't feel it's anything threatening, just odd.

What do y'all think, is my poltergeist back or is this something else?

@pamp

Wow!  You are dealing with a lot of weird stuff aren't you?

This would be very disturbing to experienced  and I am sorry you are going through this.

My sense is that it isn't your old poltergeist.  Anything new occur since you posted? Did you happen to ask management if anything happened in the apartment previously?

Ugh!

Have. you thought of having some sort of house blessing/clearing?

May you have a peaceful week.

I would

@lovendures There hasn't been anything since I posted. I don't know if anything happened in my apartment, but years ago a tenant OD'd in the apartment on the third floor, and that apartment has a reputation of being haunted. I don't know if that particular tenant likes to move   around a bit.

@pamp I had a ghost in my apartment several years back.  Apparently he died CLOSE to my apartment not in it,  but was familiar with it in life.  It was really just weird random things for me that I would have dismissed until my fiance called me at work one day to see if I was somehow home! Lol! He was being tortured by my ghost because I later found out he'd been cheating.  One of his favorite tortures was my fiance worked nights and slept during the day.  Two hours into sleep every day for 3 weeks he would call me alrmed saying I can hear balloons popping next to my head!!!!!! And Im being poked!!  He was a bit of of a wise guy and told this entity hed better start paying rent as a joke. It escalated.  My sons toys would go off by themselves! Dogs would bark at corners.  But he never scared me! Once the truth came to light and I dumped my fiance I sent my new friend to the light with the help of a psychic i found through a friend.  He was an awesome protector!!!! Hope my story brought some levity. I really believe he helped me from making a HUGE mistake!

I'm sorry if you're scared or worried.  I hope someone can offer you some clarity on what you dealing with and bring you some peace.

@impassionate I'm more curious about what's going on than anything else. I'm sure whoever it is will make themselves known if it's a spirit. The area of Boise I live in was used as a dumping ground for both garbage and down-and-out people during the Depression, and there were many deaths in this area during that time. I'm wondering if all this is related to that.

@lovendures I may do a clearing if it escalates, but activity is so random. It's quiet now, so I'm just waiting to see if anything else happens.

I have an answer to what has been happening. I am sleepwalking again.

I have active plantar fasciitis and I put on a therapy boot that helps the foot heal. I know I that last night I took off the supports I wear during the day and put on the therapy boot. I know I put it on because my blood sugar was a little around 2:30 am and I went into the kitchen to get M&Ms.

This morning the boot was off, and my supports were on. Apparently, I sat at my dining room table and did something, I don't know what, but I had definitely moved papers around and my brother's pyrex dish had been moved to the other side of the table.

So, no poltergeist, just me sleepwalking again.

@pamp I know you are relieved! Although sleepwalking can be distressing, too. ❤️

@pamp, is your sleepwalking treatable?  I used to sleep walk as a little girl.  Don't do it now, but I can sometimes have sleep paralysis when I nap in the afternoon.

@deetoo I have an appointment with my doctor to discuss about how to treat this. It stopped on its own when I was a teen (when I was 15 or 16). I know I'll need to have an inpatient sleep study and an MRI, and all my medications will be reviewed.

If only I would do my laundry or clean my toilet when I'm sleepwalking!  😋

Hi folks-- If anyone wants to help me out while testing their remote viewing skills, I would be grateful.

My BF has lost his "wallet"--  he calls it that but it is actually a stack of credit cards, driver's license, and cash all bound up in a rubber band.  A business card was on top of the stack.   We last saw it Saturday while visiting my mom at her assisted living apartment.  It is either at our house, or in my car, at my mom's apartment, or in the dining room of the facility.  Or somewhere between those places.

Any "hunches" or images are welcome!

(And don't worry if your ideas seem improbable. Here's a story: About 20 years ago I lost my keys and just about tore the house apart looking for them.  At the time I was active in a "new age" forum and I asked if anyone could "see" my keys.  One woman said she saw them in a black rubber boot by a dusty old wood shelf.   At first I discounted this b/c I have no black rubber boots.  But I thought about it--  we had a big black shop vac.  It was sitting on top of a dusty old wooden storage trunk.  I opened the shop vac, and there they were! Apparently my toddler son had been playing with them and put them in the hole in the side of the shop vac where the hose attaches. )

I tried to start a new topic under the "Seeking Intuitive Help" heading but it did not work.  If someone can move this to a separate thread, please do so.  I don't want to hijack the poltergeist thread.

@journeywithme2 Here is a thought…dirt, sandy, not rocky ground - a woman finds it

I am hopeful that he finds lost items and that all is well.

@ana First I saw a mouse moving and then there was  a tan leather or fake leather bag with a zip top. I wondered if it was at your mother's place. The mouse might refer to where he dropped the "wallet" in order to do something, perhaps for your mother.   I also see a woman with a sun hat that flops down so I can't see her face, but I suspect that is you walking about, unless it is your mother. The tan bag's leather was not smooth, maybe fake leather.

@ana It would be easier to find it if he was the one posting or we were directly working with him to find it. Perhaps if he is reading these posts, there would be more direct connection. Because he knows "unconsciously" where he left it so it is easier to connect with the object when working directly with the person who lost it. Just saying. :-)

 This is fun.

@billy-mike

We looked in the pockets of all possible pairs of pants, but no luck.

Thanks for "looking"!

@journeywithme2

That could have been where it ended up--- I went back to my mom's place this afternoon to look through her apt.  No luck.  Then I went to the dining room.  Guess what- the trash can there is a big gray one with cafeteria leavings in it, just as you described.  I actually dug into it a bit.  But the "wallet" was lost Saturday afternoon so if the wallet ended up in the trash, it would be in the dumpster by now.  🤨
