Stu, in the shocking event vision that came to me last July about this time period, I had seen sudden quick fluctuating waves of energy in my mind's eye. It signified  a new reality.  We've had so many such events since Trump took over.  But the most shocking would be the unthinkable -- a nuclear bomb dropped on a city. The thought that came to me when I got the image however was a secession of a state from the U.S. Perhaps Scotland's secession would be a fit.

Natalie, agree with your assessment - so well put.

The right wing spin machine has been on the upswing across the Western world like a new football play that will fool many voters for a while.  But truth has a way of seeping through the lies like light through cracks. Eventually people feel the truth when their lives suffer from those lies.  The pendulum will swing back.

But not yet. I think the extreme Right wing push will continue to have power for a while.

Blue Sky

Ok i'll give you the answer

Communism according to the Cambridge dictionary

the belief in a society without different social classes in which the methods of production are owned and controlled by all its members and everyone works as much as they can and receives what they need

So:

No social classes - social classes are defined by wealth - working class, middle class & upper class. Which means everyone will have the same wealth.

production owned and controlled by all it's members - so all industry is owned by the government.

the Labour party is not going to nationalise every industry in the UK, nor is it going to strip everyone of their wealth.

this idea comes from fear not from any true facts.

Thanks Blue Sky! I'm not passionate by choice, believe me! It's mostly anxiety.

It's not that I believe he would bring a better deal. It's that I'm afraid of her bullish mentality resulting in the worst deal -- no deal. She has a checklist that will never check off, and is fully prepared to walk away with nothing if those demands aren't met. That frightens me. I'd rather someone negotiate for the BEST deal, rather than say 'it's this or nothing'. It doesn't have to be Corbyn, though he seems the best of a bad bunch in my eyes. If there were a Conservative I trusted (which there has never been, as of yet), I'd be fine with them. I just don't like her 'my way or the highway' attitude. It's not going to have a good outcome. Not for people my age, and not for my family who are struggling as it is.

I'm reluctant to make such a bold prediction on whether or not Corbyn will get near the PM chair. I was wrong about the 2015 elections, Brexit AND Trump. So I'm not gifted in these matters. And, of course, the media have been working overtime to paint him as the loser which may incite the protest voters and the disillusioned like it did for Trump. But I think May is acting arrogantly and gambling an awful lot at the moment. She's refusing to talk to the press, she's not doing TV debates, she's forcing factory workers to watch her speak and then not allowing them to talk to her. There's every possibility that over the next month, that arrogance could spectacularly backfire on her like it did for Hillary. These are unpredictable times.

It's also worth noting my typically-conservative family are on the fence. My brother, especially, is considering abandoning the Tories altogether after the National Insurance nonsense (and the subsequent threats to do it again -- but with added tax hikes). I'd imagine there are many others considering ditching May for the same reason and those numbers could add up.

NHS services across England have been hit by IT failure, believed to be caused by a large-scale cyber-attack.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-39899646

this could be Putin! the Tories have been running the NHS down to the bone for years, any problems with NHS during an election campaign would be a disaster for them! It's also one of Labours main policies to have a strong NHS.

Putin could be trying to sway the election in favor of Labour?

Which is what was mentioned before, right? Someone suggested Putin would 'help' Corbyn get in or something?

Interesting...

To target NHS is despicable, who ever did this is just pure evil. Hopefully it will backfire at tories for what they have done to NHS. Most media have been disgusting to Jeremy Corbyn, even if his policies are good that would benefit most of people. I cant believe ordinary people are so carried away with the brexit that they will vote for May no matter what. Its like turkeys voting for Christmas. :(
