Fly on the Wall: Putin and Trump's Summit

More coverage regarding Trump's secrecy surrounding his meetings with Putin.  Don't let Trump's defense or the careful press who say that Trump was worried about leaks, fool anyone.

I stand by what I have sensed from the beginning about Trump's collusion with the Russian president. When working with intuition, I've come to see that some intuitive truths that I pick up are faint, some are strong and some in-between.  This one is strong and I've never doubted it.

He started the whole Putin love affair when no one was asking him to.  This bromance has been his own personal thing from long before the election; from when his son said they do a huge amount of business with Russia, to his calling on P**tin to hack Hillary's emails, to his open admiration for the man, and on and on.

But it's a knowing.   It looks like, smells like, acts like, feels like betrayal of our country to an enemy,

Here's a line from today's Washington Post with a quote from a former deputy secretary of state:

"Trump’s secrecy surrounding Putin 'is not only unusual by historical standards, it is outrageous,' said Strobe Talbott, a former deputy secretary of state now at the Brookings Institution, who participated in more than a dozen meetings between President Bill Clinton and then-Russian President Boris Yeltsin in the 1990s. 'It handicaps the U.S. government — the experts and advisers and Cabinet officers who are there to serve [the president] — and it certainly gives Putin much more scope to manipulate Trump.'"

Jeanne the line that stricks me first is "it handicaps the US govment - the experts etc"  There are no more experts in our government.  Trump got rid of anyone who wasn't a yes man.  That is what Putin wants-an unstable US.  I read on the internet today, can't remember the source, that Trump has stated to his top advisors that he want to pull out of NATO totally.  This is also a Putin talking point.  Putin has long wanted to distroy NATO because they keep him from doing anything he wants.  We live in scary times.  If Trump isn't stopped soon we are in deep touble.  The lack of qualified advisors plus his now open courting of the White Supremist is really alarming.
