@unk-p Gumby! And Pokey! How do you find these things?!!! That was priceless.

But who said anything about 3i Atlas? Oh, I get it.

And I'd like to ask people, does anyone other than Elon Musk think that space travel is a solution for what we've done to Earth?  All I see on that is Elton John's Rocketman.  And the sense I've always had that setting up colonies on Mars or any other planet is going to be a dead end fantasy.

Dog pushes cat into bathtub and lives to regret it. Have removed the link because after reviewing the channel, I feel it is likely fake.  Funny, but not funny, when the entire channel is likely fake. Thanks for the heads up, @anya.

Blessings to All!  Found poem…

🕯️ Holding the Light 🕯️

          by Stuart Kestenbaun

     for Kait Rhoads

Gather up whatever is
glittering in the gutter,
whatever has tumbled
in the waves or fallen
in flames out of the sky,

for it’s not only our
hearts that are broken,
but the heart
of the world as well.
Stitch it back together.

Make a place where
the day speaks to the night
and the earth speaks to the sky.
Whether we created God
or God created us

it all comes down to this:
In our imperfect world
we are meant to repair
and stitch together
what beauty there is, stitch it

with compassion and wire.
See how everything
we have made gathers
the light inside itself
and overflows? A blessing.

@jeanne-mayell This is likely AI.  The cat is not that wet, and there is no water on the bathroom floor.

If anyone here has a good tutorial of recognizing AI as it becomes more sophisticated, please post.

@anya I don't have a tutorial, but here are a couple things to look for:

If it's a video of a person speaking (usually directly to the camera), watch for these things:

1)  Eye movement/blinking. AI characters don't move their eyes and don't usually blink much (if at all).

2) Pay attention to head/facial movement. When real people speak, they incorporate small, involuntary head movements and facial expressions. If you don't see that, it's probably AI

3) Body movement/gestures. In most cases, AI drones move too smoothly to be human, but (more rarely now, but with older AI programs) they may also be a bit to "jerky" or uneven. Their gestures - if they exist - are either out of synch with or don't match the speech patterns or other body movements.

4) Mouth/lip movement when speaking. Ai drones barely move their lips/mouths when "speaking", and any movements they do make don't synchronize well with the words you're hearing. You don't have to be a lip reader to notice.

5) Speech patterns. AI will usually misalign speech patterns (pausing at odd times, rushing through others), mispronounce or otherwise mangle simple words/phrases. The voices are also usually pretty obvious tells. If it sounds like Siri or Alexa, it's probably AI.

The same things also apply to animals (minus the speech parts! 😂)

If the video is of vehicles such as cars or especially planes:

1) look at the size of the vehicle compared to its surroundings and people near it. The size is often  just a bit (sometimes a lot!) wrong in AI.

2) watch how the vehicles move. If they move in ways that a real one probably wouldn't or simply can't physically do, it's likely AI.

Essentially, wear your Goggles of Doubt (tm) at all times when on line. 😂

Happy holidays!  Regarding AI it was easy for me to tell before, but I feel like it is getting much better now.  Anyway, hope all safe and warm this winter.
