Wish I could have seen them! It's not that they didn't appear this far south, they even showed up farther south. We had rain until nearly midnight & the clouds are still here this morning. Happy for all of you who got to enjoy them!

@tybin, when photos are too large to upload, if they're on my phone, I bring up the pic on the phone, take a screenshot, crop out the blank space & status bars, then that pic is small enough to upload.

So this powerful solar storm of plasma has me thinking. How would it effect projecting healing light right now?

I guess this has the potential to disrupt quite a bit of our lives. Would projecting light on, say Ukraine, be more powerful during a solar storm or cause unintended consequences? This article is long but really focuses in on how much we have come to rely on functioning GPS and power grids etc etc. PS. Elon’s obsession with life on Mars makes no sense if Mars lacks the ability to block the harmful rays produced by solar flares

@Cindy I am on the East Coast of Australia with days of solid rain and still more to come. Would have loved to have seen the lights, they were supposed to be seen as far north as Queensland, other parts of Aus have like WA and Tasmania who aren’t in this rain belt. It was possibly the only time it would have been this far north. Rats.

Our lights are known as the Aurora Australis, the Southern Lights and usually it’s Tasmania and bottom of the South Island NZ which see them. I think that’s why most people head for the Northern Lights, more land mass to be able to see it from. We just have the Southern Ocean than Antarctica.

Regards to all

@matildagirl Gorgeous, thanks for sending! We're in the State of North Carolina and hoping we might be able to see just a little tonight, but not holding my breath :)

@tybin Elon does not possess Common Sense nor emotional or social level skills. Which is often the case of highly intelligent , technical and creative thinkers/doers. He has tenacity and perseverance in many areas of his business life. I haven't read it anywhere? But he reminds me of friends/family with Asperger's spectrum.

@journeywithme2 I've heard it said that Musk is somewhere on the Autism spectrum, but then again, maybe he simply struggles with psychological issues that drives his lack of emotional intelligence. His childhood seems similar to Trump's in that he was taught that winning is everything.
