Had my last day at work yesterday. Feeling pretty good. We got the transportation issue worked out with the school district. Took my pre-surgical COVID test this morning and from the emails I’m getting from my transplant coordinator I’m guessing they’re having trouble finding the results. 🫠
I’m letting that one go. I did the thing. We take the girls to grandma’s tonight where I’ll say goodbye until after the surgery. They’ll be the next two weeks. I’m taking Greatest Wife Ever out for dinner. These are the things I can control and worry about. I’ve come too far for this surgery to go awry because of our local hospital’s poor ability to get things done. My coordinator is on it :-). Going to post in the Great Turning Part 8 in just an hour or so with today’s tearjerker. I need a photo of it first.
In thinking on it my other post belongs here. Still hard to categorize sometimes when you’re sharing a personal thing such as my current path.
My wife’s last day at work was today. Their school has different elements of SEL that they teach the elementary kids about each month.
The theme of April is kindness.
These came home today.
I am flooding my living room. There cannot be an ounce of salt or water left in my body.
