@journeywithme2, Did you attach a recipe? It didn't come through for me.
I once tried an almond flour crust, and what a disaster. I don't believe it was the recipe, it was me! I'm generally not great with crusts, but I'm willing to try again.
If I could buy a pre-made one with almond flour, I'd do it.
The recipe you've attached looks like a good one. I'm going to give it a shot.
I'll also look at premade nut crusts. Thanks!
@deetoo Very welcome!!! I am seriously considering making this one!! https://cookingontheweekends.com/chai-butternut-squash-pie-recipe-with-gluten-free-nut-crust/
here is a recipe for Cranberry Pico de Gallo I haven't tried it yet, but thought it sounded good. I make the tomato pico a lot in the summer- i never measure anything, bc i think all ingredients in this should be "to taste". I like that this is raw and vegan. And easy.
from Susannah Chen
Ingredients:
-
12 ounces fresh cranberries, halved
-
1/4 cup maple syrup, or more to taste
-
1 jalapeño, stemmed, seeded (unless you want it spicy), and julienned
-
1/2 medium onion, diced
-
1/3 cup cilantro, finely chopped
-
Zest and juice of 2 limes
-
Kosher salt
Instructions:
-
Toss all ingredients together and let sit overnight to allow the flavors to meld. Season with kosher salt to taste.
Makes about 2 cups.

Is there a good vegetarian turkey alternative foe TG?
"good" is up for question, but one time for Friendsgiving i got the Deluxe version of Tofurkey- it came with white and dark "meat", "giblets", stuffing, tofu "skin", and even a plastic wishbone, lol. It was ok, we ate it all. The trick is to serve it with the best gravy you can make- i used wine or apple juice w fresh thyme and lots of fresh garlic (sorry Jeanne).
and lots of fresh garlic (sorry Jeanne).
LOL!
I will get it. Looks like they have it at Whole Foods. And make an amazing gravy for all, including a lot of fresh garlic.
