@dannyboy, thank you so much for taking my words as they were intended. I hate seeing negative things that I'm supposed to share. I'm delighted you understood and also saw what I did, so you are prepared. You're lucky about your weight. I'm a see-food person. I just have to see food, and I gain weight. Sigh. I'll continue to send light and angels to you and K.
@raincloud, I'm sorry for what you're going through. I hope for the highest and best for all involved. I don't know if it means anything to you, but as I read your post, I heard the old saying, "It's always the darkest under the lamp." I'm not sure which translation applies-the literal, light doesn't shine under the base of the lamp; or the metaphoric meaning-the answer is right under your nose. Not sure if either will ring a bell for you, and if so, it could just mean you are the light in the entire situation.
@saibh, Congratulations to your friend and her son. That is good news for all involved.
@raincloud I am sending you strength and wisdom. Even though dark personalities can pass through our lives, there are valuable lessons to be learned by dealing with them. May you and your loved ones be protected and may your fear be replaced with assurance. When I read your post, two thoughts went through my mind: each of us has a different journey with lessons to be learned and secondly, “all will be well.”

I laid down for a rest this afternoon, thinking I would send some energy your way and, to my surprise, I had a persistent vision of you dancing. You were smiling, not a grin but rather a soft smile and a distracted look indicting that you were absorbed in the pleasure of dancing something like a waltz. It was a persistent vision so I spent a while watching you on the dance floor. ;-) I wonder if it was suggesting that in your recovery, dance, gentle movement with music you like might be a path toward recovery after your surgery. Just a thought...

About 10 weeks ago I was in a dance contest for charity and my partner and I won. (It's a one night rip off of Dancing with the Stars)
While I'm super competitive and was excited to win People's Choice, if I had to honestly tell you what my favorite part was, it's the smile on my partner's face - here and through the whole thing. When we met for the first time ever last June she told me she was only doing this for the former organizer who passed away (A dear friend to both of us - and to any who met him.). Her exact words were she was going to get up on stage and get off it as fast as possible beacuse she hated performing and didn't want to do this.
Well if you can't tell by the picture her feelings about it changed.
I made a lifelong friend. She was a breast cancer survivor and when I told her about the liver journey (I almost had to back out because we thought it might happen in October when the competition was supposed to take place) she became a protective mamma bear.
Basically, I know that even though we and our spouses haven't hung out since the competition (Busy fall for me but we're going on a double date next week) She's going to be visiting regularly to check in on me.
If I had to guess at your vision, I'd say you saw "P" - my dance partner who I know is going to be there to help my wife and family in my recovery.
We didn't waltz, but we did a Foxtrot and it was very similar.
Update on Curt, brother of my friend who asked me to put in a prayer request. Curt has skin cancer that has metastisised. He could not receive conventional treatment, or even pain meds, due to his also being a heart transplant recipient. But good news! Curt is actually doing a little better, and plans to move to another state to live with his daughter. His daughter has had experience taking care of loved ones in declining health, and is very much involved in natural healing modes.
So THANK YOU @lovendures @journeywithme2 @pat-czap @dannyboy for your prayers and healing energy. Also much thanks to @freya for sending prayers and Reiki energy his way.
And of course, thank you to everyone else, anonymously sending love and compassion to complete strangers. Just doing your lightworker's thang- and it's working!
@cindy -your idea about the adult coloring books was a blessing. Not for Curt (his dominant hand was where the cancer started, and the doctors were seriously considering amputation), but for my own sister, who was in a deep funk. Her daughter died on Christmas Eve 2021. Your post reminded me how much she used to enjoy coloring, so i got her a book of psychedelic designs, and a giant pack of markers. She's an old hippie soul, and that was such a great idea, my friend! ❤️
Neutral news. I felt a bit better but lately am in a bit of a funk. Father's health issues seem iffy and I feel burnt out on it all.
The good news is I helped brainstorm possible solutions to hungry migrant issue on a facebook page. As of tonight many of them that were reportedly starving had neighbors give a substantial amount of food in a designated area of Tompkins Park to hopefully tide some of them over until a food shipment actually arrives.
