@tgraf66 I think I put an extra "f" when I tagged you in my other post 😊

I am wondering if some Bach Flower remedies might help you with the emotional side of all you are going through. Bach Flower Remedies were created in the 1930s by a British physician, Dr Edward Bach.

Rock Rose is a tincture that works on the remedy against terror, and as such is an important ingredient in Dr Bach’s traditional crisis combination (Rescue Remedy)

According to Dr. Bach, Rock Rose is all about panic [attacks] and/or being terrorstruck. It provides calm and courage. It helps a person let go of fears and find renewed courage.

Years ago, when my youngest was five, he slammed his hand in the car door and was hysterical with pain but even more with shock. I pinched his little nose and dropped a dropperfull of Rescue Remedy into his mouth. Within two minutes he was calmly sitting in the carseat looking at his hand and saying, "What is an x-ray Mama?" I carry a small bottle of Rescue Remedy in my purse as well as having it in my medicine cabinent at home boy does has it has come in handy during these difficult times.

This link is to what I think of as "the Mother Site" and has the information from the very source. They still make the remedies at the farm where Dr. Bach lived. You can get them, however, in any health food store and oddly, even Walmart 😮 carried them for awhile. You can also get them online, and can look for best prices.

Anyway, along with the rest of the community, I have been sending you LOTS! of healing, (I just wasn't online and posting) but you are in my morning and evening meditations. Blessings! 🌻 🌼

@journeywithme2 I don't know how much reiki work you're doing on my behalf, but it appears to be working. :-) I haven't taken any prescription pain medicine since yesterday afternoon. I am still taking ibuprofen 800 every 8 hours, but apart from a few twinges when I move wrong, I have had very little pain. Thank you again. 🤗

I'm coming on while I have the chance to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday (for whichever of the other multitude of current holidays that are occurring), and a Happy New Year.

I noted last time that while I was grateful that dad had graduated from hospice, I wasn't sure how long his tenure here would be. I had felt something ominous coming (cards pointed to Sagittarius), but I didn't know what. I should have-I was always scolding him telling him not to walk without someone with him (as per doctor's suggestion), because if he fell he'd break a hip. So Saturday he did just that.  Surgery was required, and I was glad the younger set was on duty to think out of the box. General anesthesia would be dangerous for dad, so they chose an old-fashioned epidural and twilight sedation. Instead of a full hip replacement (again rather dangerous for him) they chose a much less invasive form of repair with rods & screws. Let's face it, he's in a wheelchair already, isn't supposed to use his Parkinson's walker without supervision, and only needs to be able to stand to transfer, etc. This procedure was done in under an hour. Some family are greatly relieved that things went so quickly and he's out of surgery. He was sent right from the ER to the neuro step down unit (levels of care greater than regular ward but less than ICU). My youngest and I both have gut feelings this isn't the end of the rollercoaster ride. I have seen his Parkinson's MSA syndrome kick in, in a delayed fashion, after illness or surgery. My youngest and his girlfriend get in to town on Friday (yipee!). So, I figured before starting my busy day (foreseeable future), I'd take the chance to come and wish everyone here well for the holidays while I have a minute and was in my right mind.

I've continued to send light, energy and prayers to those asking here, and have been glad to see some positive outcomes. That will continue!

Happy holidays everyone!

@cindy I’m so sorry.  The same thing happened to my mom which in turn just started a cascade of issues.  I hope your dad comes through and stabilizes.  Merry Christmas to you and yours. And for others here who celebrate in your special way here’s to light, peace, love and all the blessings our heart can hold.
