I've been reading here, but not posting much lately. Like many here, I felt down, stressed, or just generally negative for a while there. I'm not sure if it was astrological-like the retrograde, or what. I know I wasn't alone. I did have a dream a few weeks ago where I was trying to explain to others who weren't well versed in the spiritual (including one gal from church-we all know the type-thinking that Harry Potter was awful because it involved witchcraft? ahem...) that I had been told by spirit three different times in different ways that I should pass on the message that everything will be ok. All will be well. I know I too was meant to hear and understand it, yet I had a hard time shaking off the doldrums, which for a Pollyanna like me can be frustrating. I know it's late, but I'm passing it on.Â
I'm still not my optimistic self yet, but I've improved, and I'll get there. It just may take me a little while. It may also take me a bit to get over the doubting Thomas syndrome as well. Hospice and I both see dad's decline, tho he doesn't really see it, as he's fighting it. Good for him for trying to hang in there, but it's been a stumbling block for me seeing the bright side just yet.Â
I'd also like to send my sympathies and support to those who have lost loved ones or friends recently, like @jeanne-mayell & @ghandigirl 's boyfriend. Â
@dannyboy, hang in there with the boss. Often times, people who have issues don't act out as much when they find they aren't getting reactions to their behaviors. It doesn't make it easier to deal with daily, but it can help to reduce the issues. When I read your situation, I didn't feel like it would be long term. Unfortunately, we all know that time is relative when dealing with intuition, tho.Â
@lovendures, you have my sympathy. I haven't had a Mango dream, and I would be delighted to never have one in the future.Â
I was surprised last week to read about a poster's dream with coyotes in it. Our Coyote immediately came to mind, and I was struck at the synchronicity of it, finding it occurred on the anniversary of his passing. I hope his parents are coping well.Â
I'm truly impressed with E. Jean Carroll and her continuing to press for justice. I was glad she won her second case, now let's send some good vibes that her first case yields the same results.Â
It was sad to note today's passing of Tina Turner. Not only was she fabulous as a singer, but she gave hope and strength to so many women in abusive relationships. What's Love Got to Do With It? Only everything.Â

My dad died unexpectedly last night.
He was 86, and going into heart failure, but was doing ok on his meds. He just keeled over on his way to bed, which, yes, is a kind of blessing in itself. My stepmom and brother were there, so that's a blessing too.
I had hoped to go for a last visit in the next couple of months, I knew time was growing short. Yesterday I was making pizza, using his dough recipe, and I had a thought to call him, but dismissed it because we always spoke on Sunday mornings. I just wasn't ready quite yet. And today no phone call...
He was very special, especially to me. We were close friends. Without him I would not have survived the traumas of my childhood with my abusive mother. I will be forever grateful to him for his love and care, even though it was always at a geographical distance.
He was very Catholic, but a very progressive Jesuit-style kind of Catholic, so today I'm going to drive up to the Mission at San Juan Capistrano to light candles for him and also for my grandparents. I miss them all so much.

@laura-f I am so very sorry for your loss. I am a semi-lapsed Catholic at this point, but know how much prayer can be a comfort during times like these. I will say a prayer for your Dad and also for you and your family as you deal with his loss. May your trip up to light candles for him and your grandparents bring you peace and comfort. Your love for them will be felt and transcends any boundaries of space and time. They will know you are thinking of them. And they will be thinking of you. :) Peace and much love to you.
