A tree died in our yard today.
It was leaning, it was leaning

Bright red blossoms
Always trying for Life
It made me sad
To see those blossoms

Motherless now

It made me feel a tiny bit better.
This made me tear up a bit. It fits right in with and expresses part of the grief I've been experiencing about our nation.
