Greetings and know that tho I have not been posting I have been dropping by and praying for all.
I have had a bit of a month getting used to be retired and not working and losing 1400.00 a month from my budget. As a single woman worked 1-2 jobs all her life...that raised two kids on her own my Social Security reflects the inequities of salaries for women and POC in this country. My marriages never lasted long enough for me to benefit from former spouses earnings only my own. Don't get me wrong... I am not whining or feeling sorry for myself. I am ever aware of my many blessings here. I draw just enough to squeeze by with a little help from the Food Pantries and will have health insurance through Medicare in the Fall. My daughter and son help also financially and with help with repairs to car and home. So doing my best to stay home and enjoy my little square of earth gardening and interacting with the creatures I share my world with ...from my pets to the wild ones that visit.
I saw this huge rise coming which is why I retired....it's not really a second wave.. for here in my state? It never went down... it only slowed. It is why I have still been sheltering in place and wearing a mask to do no touch order pickups/ deliveries.
The Energy of the Collective has been sooo painful here in my state... I do meditate every day and send as much Light and Love out as I can. I miss the Zoom meetings and meditations here.. but.. Zoom allowed hacker issues and I deleted it. Not enough security for me to use it comfortably.
I feel myself becoming more my usual sunny optimistic self then something like Trump's betrayal of our military members brings me crashing down again.. coming from a military family with many friends children still in harms way ( I am so glad my son is no longer in the service!!!) I get so overwhelmingly ill from the anger and hurt that that creature IS STILL IN OFFICE... like he is Teflon coated from the consequences or all he does.
Then I get a grip on myself, and focus on that fact that, all of this angst is needed to bring about the changes we have to make, that things are proceeding as they must and to just hang on , hold on with all our might and inject as much Light and Love and Healing as we can in to the Universe.
Today I am fighting a great sadness and a feeling of depletion - I would appreciate and supporting Energy anyone has to send my way. I have been struggling with my Auto-immune flares this month as well and know tis stress that has exacerbated them. Trying to practice self-care....it does get lonely all by oneself for days on end for true.

My heart and thoughts are with you as are my own flare ups. Mine started in 1980 and while there were years when just walking was a challenge i had a husband as the wage earner as I'm not sure how I'd have worked outside the home and raised kids. So big big kudos to you. But we made a small self employment income not even 1,000 more than yours and 1/3 of ours had to pay for health insirance for 5. Its really really hard i know. We did the gardens and canning and all of that but its more work saving money than just having more to begin with. We both made the best choices we could and we are blessed now to have both social security and medicare. It is hard but its enough when you're thrifty and not just the extra fluff that it is for wealthy families. But i am so grateful now that it did come out of savings as hard as it was back then!
You are one heck of a strong woman and you know that in your heart. You are also an incredibly caring, deep feeling one who loves so deeply that pain and loss and sad run even deeper than so many realize or have ever experienced themselves.
You try so hard to do and be so much and that is a wondetful kind of person to be but when you hit bottom and the tank runs dry your mind body and spirit are all yelling at you at once to stop! Re-evaluate and try again in a different way. So you did. You shared.
Bless you in all ways. We love you in the special way that only people like us can know and read others and love them without ever seeing or meeting them. So i send you this love.

Unfortunately, she died last night. She was able to hold on until her granddaughters arrived, so her whole family was with her.

Sending lots of light and love to you! The energy has be sooo heavy the last couple of weeks. I think it has been extra tough for a lot of us.

We are both seeing the potential for some big downfalls for Trump and Pence - not sure that will come to pass, but it gives us a bit of hope, perhaps that things are moving in a better direction?
