@jewels
Thank you for writing me, Julie. I do go go through many times of sadness and hopelessness. Other times I feel more hopeful and with more energy.
im hoping and praying some new lab results will lead to more peace and health.
Apparently, I have many nutrients I am not absorbing because I don’t have pancreatic enzymes needed to assimilate various vitamins, minerals, etc. I learned just last night.
i will see my naturopath June 30th when I hope to get a lot more help.
Thank you for writing.
Anita
As you know, I'm in Plymouth. The organization where I work is in a remote, coastal area of town - mostly forests and protected beaches - that Thoreau wrote about on one of his jaunts to Cape Cod. So there's that synchronicity.

@anita, I can totally relate to your feelings. I'll be turning 68 in July, and I've had some difficult health challenges for a few decades. I thought my senior years would feel a little lighter; instead, I'm still dealing with some of those same health issues, plus we now have a lunatic dismantling our country and are in the middle of a serious pandemic. I don't want to deal with all of this, but here I am! It feels overwhelming at times. The one thing that gets me through my dark periods is when I can draw on those past hopeful, lighter moments in my life. I have to remind myself that emotions are fluid and transient; this too shall pass. The other thing is, I am much more than this flawed, sometimes uncooperative and battered body. I still have my faculties (well, most of them anyway!), my heart and my spirit. We all have much more to give to this world, especially now. You, me, all of us in this community, were created for these times.
When I read about your lab results I immediately felt hopeful and lighter. It's always good when you have some answers and some direction in which to go. Let us know how things go with your naturopath. I'm sending supportive and healing prayers your way. ?
Hi, for all of you who have been keeping Taryn in your thoughts - apparently she doesn't have much time yet. It's pretty devastating. I'll keep you posted but please keep praying.
I take all of the requests on this board seriously, so know I am praying for you.
