I will always hold the incredible and heartwarming memories of my dearest Aunt in my heart forever. She was incredibly special to me in ways it would take a book to express. I appreciate all of your sweet and warm messages so very much.
My Aunt's real name was Margaret and no one ever called her that - we all called her Mickey because she had the cutest little ears and used to eat food like a little mouse, so her family named her after Mickey Mouse! As a child she treated me so special that I thought she was actually related to Walt Disney's Mickey mouse and thought the moon rose and shone on her. She couldn't have children so she told me God gave me to her and I was really the daughter she couldn't have so I was lucky to have two moms.
I know she's with her family, my mom and my Uncle Roland, her husband. She used to tell me she was not afraid to die because she knew she would be with the Lord. I will miss her in this little blip of a life we all endure for our soul's journey but I wanted to say how eternally grateful I was for her and I am for all of you here in this forum.
Bless you all ? ? ? ❤️
@triciact I am so sorry to hear this news. May God bless and receive your dear Aunt Mickey and send you comfort and peace. Sending you a big hug.
Oh Tricia,
My heart hurts for you. I am sending you so much love and light. May her memory be for a blessing.
@triciact Dearest Tricia, we all feel your loss, sweet friend, and wrap you in our love. Sounds like you were sent Mickey as an extra special guardian angel to love you the way she did. They way you describe her kindness, she sounds a lot like you! I hope you will feel her with you in this short blip of a life as you walk through it. Love to you, dear friend.
Oh honey, I am deeply sorry to hear your Aunt Mickey has passed and know this is a big loss for you. May each day forward include memories of Mickey and gratitude for her presence in your life. May gratitude gradually replace the heartfelt grief you feel right now. May you come to recognize Mickey’s presence in your life continues and may you find comfort in that. This life we live is not all there is. There’s more to follow. Much love to you, Tricia.
to all of you here:
Thank you all for your thoughts and condolences. I am so lucky to have you all here. I truly appreciate all the comfort and unique friendship we have here.
Jeanne: Praying that your daughter is much better now.
