So, would it be helpful to envision each of our chakras as rings as opposed to spheres? When I first tried the cleansing last night, I imagined each point as a solid sphere of color (ex: the zeal point was a solid dark fuchsia sphere that I surrounded with light). If using the "ring method," I could imagine the zeal point as a dark fuchsia ring that I fill up with luminous light? I know there are all sorts of ways one could personalize a meditation like this, but I'm interesting in hearing about what works for other people first.
By the way, this thread is super helpful.
@coyote Good morning ? It was introduced to be as an orb to fill w light. Yet, when I imagine the Crown point, I now see my brain and imagine it bathed in the light. It just popped up like that. I ask for my brain to be cleared of negativity and filled w clear thinking (vs muddled or confused, panicked, or worried, etc.
For the Third Eye, it’s a triangular space thst appears.
Bc I struggle w digestive issues—sometimes severe—, I envision my internal organs, or just a sphere, or the entire abdominal area fills w light. It varies for me. For example, I may see my intestines being lit up and cleared out/healed. I allow what it will be to come now that I’ve been doing this for over a year. So, it depends. I had begun w orbs or rings as you say, and then the other images popped up and I went w it.
I’m very happy to hear that you are being helped by this thread and our contributions to your healing. ?
Chakras are spirals of energy. It is fine to picture them any way that you picture them. @coyote if you see rings, then that is likely how your intuition is telling you to see them. It's your body and your intuition is your guide. This is how I picture them, although I've never thought of them coming out the back side. And there are many more chakras than these seven but the seven depicted in the previous post are the ones I think of when I'm doing a chakra cleansing. But the spiral is how all natural systems move -- galaxies, planets, climate change, gestation and consciousness. The spiral may be the fundamental movement of all of nature.
@stargazer Following my intuition to find a reiki master is working well. I found one that was suggested by a friend of one of my work colleagues. I'm seeing this reiki master on the 31st for our first session and just had an initial FaceTime conversation with her tonight (so I couldn't attend the Circle of Light Meditation).
@coyote Happy for you that you are pursuing this most sacred form of healing. And so grateful to @Stargazer, @earthangel, and others for so much guidance here. @coyote, posting your healing quest here is helping others.
I had a very positive meditation experience today which I thought I would share here. I had been getting the US as feeling dark and with an almost sticky kind of energy this week and something must have shifted:
When I started the meditation, there was complete darkness over the US. I moved my perspective up to the light workers in a ring, holding hands above the Earth and joined them. From there, as we sent light down, the US started to light up again slowly. I could see the people on the ground start to hold hands with one another, all across the country. The light became stronger as the people connected with each other. People come together in a connected patchwork that creates the light. I heard, “Change is coming.”
I was heartened by the above and decided that I will try to come to the meditation next Monday night (right before Election Day) because I think any good energy that we can send in that direction will help.
Reminder that our Monday night Circle of Light will be at 3 pm PT, 6 pm ET today. Hope to see you there as we send light to our selves, others, and our democracy. ❤️ ❤️
