You could foster her until space opens up or she could be re-homed.

@polarberry

Are you able to post a photo?  It makes reading the pet easier for many on our forum.

Probably not until the weekend. I'm not good at it and I need my kiddo's help, but I will definitely try.

@anya

That's what we're doing. I am just wanting to know if it's the right decision to keep her.

@jeanne-mayell Sweet Soka... highly intelligent, intent on understanding her humans, a total love bug... yet still sending out a warning by howling with her "pack" (the ambulance sound).  Bursting with life and love.

@polarberry I have always found that when a "stray" gets "dropped in my lap" that Creator/ The Universe sent them to me. They healed me as much as I helped them. You say she is your dream dog? I say Creator sent her to you just when you needed her most... regardless of the circumstances.... it's always in Divine Right Timing.... somehow you will make room and everyone will adjust.... she is already a part of the family. She knows she is there for you.

@journeywithme2

Yes, if I were to go to a Build-A-Dog workshop and Young Frankenstein myself a dog, it would be her, both looks & personality. We have other dogs & I love them all dearly, but the timing of this *sigh*

It's a lot of time & work to safely & properly integrate a dog into the pack. I feel like God is really piling on right now 🤨

@polarberry  I feel it is what you need though.... and in the doing and healing you are doing and healing for yourself as well. Sending you much Light and Love... you have got this... it won't be without it's bumps along the way... but totally a worthy and rewarding Journey..... You two have "heart connections" had to come back and Edit... Just heard Cyndi Lauper singing "Time After Time"

@journeywithme2 Feliway is wonderful! Really works. Not cheap but worth it. 😊

@jewels-2 Yes!! One of my felines is a bottle raised feral kitten that is now 14 years old. I always called her my rapid cycling bipolar cat (she also has epilepsy and thunder storm phobia) I use the Multi-Cat formula... the one that releases the mother cat pheromone that she releases when nursing kittens to help quell aggression... it really helps keep her on a more even keel and less reactive to the other cats in the house. Well worth the $18.00 a month I pay (on auto-ship on Amazon)
