Thank you! I did not know the Multi-Cat formula has mother-cat pheronome, which is perfect since I am bottle-feeding five orphaned kittens. It’s a lot of work and I’ve only done it once before with one kitten. Does anyone have a read on how they are doing? There is a rescue nursery in town just for young kittens, and I’m tempted to turn them over so their care is ideal. But they are so cute!
Hmm, I’m not able to attach a photo. Says the image size is too large. Anyone know a way around this?
@jewels-2 The kittens' care might be more ideal if they're living in a household and not a rescue facility. They may end up being better socialized that way-- although if the rescue facility fosters the kitties out to a household it may be just the same.
@ana Good point! Maybe I will take the kittens there for a look, and if all seems good to them then I forge ahead. Thank you!
@jewels-2 If you have an IPhone go in to your photos check mark to upload then in lower left corner click options and check smallest and auto format boxes then upload.
Anyone pick up on this little feral boy? He has had a hurt leg ever since I started seeing him in March...he only comes by periodically to eat out of the compost pile and deer chow. If I am at home and see him I take cat food out to him. I am hoping to TNVR him and see if we can do something with that injured leg. I feel like he may have been tossed from a moving car.... or... injured in cat fight or hit by a car. I am finally getting him to trust me a bit more.
@jewels-2 Yes feeding an entire litter every 2 hours then stimulating each baby to urinate and defecate really keeps you hopping!
I'd say go check out the rescue ... especially if they have various ages there ... socialization from moms/other cats is so vital for kittens up to age 12 weeks!!! However ... if they are just going to put with another foster home and you are enjoying caring for them ... please continue!
@journeywithme2 thank you!
@jewels-2 You're very welcome!
