Compared to Jeanne's list, this request is peanuts but there is an issue tearing my family apart so I would ask healing for us all.

Dear Raincloud, no issue that worries a person is too small to ask for healing. I am sending angels to you and your family to provide healing, surround you all with peace and bring comfort to you especially.

@jeanne-mayell   I'm finally rejoining The Circle of Light... love what you do together to uplift each other and the Earth.

I wish to request prayers for physical healing. I'd love to ask for healing in every area of my life, but physical healing is the most crucial right now.

Most of last year (as is true for many people on Earth right now), I staggered from one painful challenge to next... none abating... all simply building on top of each other. In addition to my own physical and economic challenges, I lost 4 friends/family members to sudden, unexpected death last year.

2023 has proven to be an equally difficult year so far.  Physical challenges have all but stopped me cold, making it neigh impossible to keep up with my house and yard and social circle (up until quite recently standing for 10 minutes was an accomplishment followed by lying down to recover, sitting for 10 minutes required recovery time too... this challenge has calmed down to the point that I can now alternate between working for a few hours then resting then working).  I've always been an energizer bunny so this is exasperating.  For the first time ever, I have had to be clear to relatives that I can continue to be the Aunt who is always willing to listen and love unconditionally... but that I cannot help them physically... because I can barely move at times. This is frustrating not just in and of itself... but because I wish to move on... from where I'm living and how I'm living...  but the roadblocks just keep popping up...

Please pray for me so that I may continue to be useful... and independent.

Sorry for the long entreaty.  I'll put my violin down now. Love to you all.

@freya, I am very sorry that you are experiencing these physical challenges.  You've had a lot on your plate.  Although I don’t know your story, I can relate to the daily, chronic health issues, and how frustrating and debilitating they can be.  I have to often remind myself that I am so much more than my physical body.  I'm glad you are taking care of yourself by prioritizing, resting, and discontinuing any activity at the first sign of overexertion. I am also glad you are letting relatives know about your present physical limitations, and in what ways you can still be there for them.

You have tremendous courage and grace, @freya.  Although you currently have these challenges that have altered your daily life, your light-filled presence is a precious gift to your loved ones, to this community, and  to this world.

I’m glad you shared this with us, @freya.    I will hold you in prayer and in my Circle of Light meditations.  May each day bring you increased strength, peace, and healing.

@freya Dear sweet kind strong Freya,  Thank you for reaching out to us for prayers. I am holding the Circle of light tomorrow afternoon/early evening for the first time in a location that is not my own home.  I am excited to try this, even though it shouldn't be a big deal, it is a big deal for me.

We will surround you with light for a good healing.

Love and light to you, friend.

Dear Community, Circle of Light is on Wednesday May 24 at 3 pm Pacific/4 pm MT/5 pm central/ 6 pm Eastern.

I hope to see you there.

I am still down in the Sunshine State for another few days.  The house where I am staying is filled with love and light.  And there is a light-filled room where I will be zooming to you.

The tropical world is such a gift. Every afternoon, like clock-work, the clouds roll in then grow black and menacing. If we are out and about, we keep a wary and awestruck watch on the sky. Who could ignore such magnificent moving power?

Then comes the crashing thunder and lightening, followed by streaks of rain.

As quickly as the storms roll in, they recede. Then the sun gleams through like a second sunrise.  The sidewalks, streets, and gardens are washed clean, the plants are fed, and all is as before. Such a great place.

Jeanne

@jeanne-mayell

I think what you wrote counts as poetry.

I lived in Florida for eight years and well remember the daily rains. It is comforting to know that the rain continues.

@ghandigirl thank you. Even as a child I loved the Florida storms.
