Last night I had four short dreams that I remember. There was no packing involved, but there was travelling, and in all of them I was giving different people directions to different places.
In two of the dreams the people seemed happy to have (and follow) the directions. In a third dream, they completely ignored me and continued walking in the wrong direction. In a fourth, the person didn't want to listen to me even though I was offering directions to a location a few blocks from my house, and instead were paying attention to a person who was having to research the directions on the internet.
One memorable time I became aware of the collective dreaming about traveling, a was shortly before the Syrian Refugee crisis began. At that time a group of us who tuned into dreams ( this was before I was a member of this site) felt that this abundant of traveling dreams was predicting a disturbance which caused a large amount of people to flee their homes and move. In this case, the traveling people were experiencing in our collective dreams had more to do with leaving behind homes and moving to somewhere else. The form of transportation varied to accomplish this goal and often people were scared and sad. A few of these dreams were about traveling out of the country for a trip. Once the crisis began to unfold, we realized why we had all been having these dreams. It was an "ah ha" moment.
I know during the first year of covid when we were all in lock-down, many of us were having dreams of being on vacation, which made sense since many of us were stuck in our homes unable to go anywhere. But unlike the predictive dreams about the Syrian crisis, the Covid Era vacation dreams were not really predictive to my recollection, they appeared to be more of a reflection on how the collective was feeling during the crisis. Perhaps however, some people in our forum may remembering dreaming about vacations before the virus struck.
I am now very intrigued about current dreams of travel others might be having too.
"I was giving different people directions to different places."
These traveling dreams seem important to me. I wonder, as you do, if you are performing helpful spiritual tasks in your sleeping state. Sounds exciting, in a weird way. There might be some additional information to be found in small details in your dreams if you stay alert to them.
Looking forward to the findings of SisterMoon's research.

hmmmm yes, this seems very telling to me and definitely resonates, not only your actions but the actions of others.
I will share a dream I had a couple of nights ago:
I was preparing to board a great ship, perhaps an ocean liner. Before boarding, we (I say "we" although I'm not sure of the others with whom I was traveling -- perhaps one was an old friend of mine, but the others were a blur) sat down to a large table. A woman came around and gave us each a small gift. This gift seemed quite important, and I can still see the small box in my mind's eye. I opened it -- and then woke up. It was the gift, in connection with the act of travel, that immediately seemed the most important to me.
To explain further: Most nights I have regular old dreams, the kind of brain-vomit that is really nothing special. But sometimes I have 'message dreams,' dreams through which Spirit communicates to me. Sometimes these dreams appear to be 'brain-vomit dreams' on the surface -- but it is the feeling that sets them apart. That is how I know "Ah! This was an important dream!" That's the feeling I had upon waking from this recent travel dream.
I will share my theory soon, when I am best able to put it into words. I am sure it will resonate with many of you and look forward to hearing your own thoughts and feelings regarding it.
Thank you all for indulging me :)

Most of my dreams have pretty much the same "feeling".
As I mentioned in another post, I dream most nights and most of the dreams are travel dreams. In last night's travel dream, I was hiking with some people in the woods near a stream. It was very pretty-- nice feeling. Some of the people had animals on leashes. I was one of those. I had a BEAR on a leash. She seemed to be kind of a guide-bear (as opposed to dog). At one point the bear turned around and licked me on my mouth. She then "asked" me to lick her in return, which I did not do because eew, bear germs. When I say she "asked", I mean I heard her voice in my head. And my dream self was pretty surprised, that a bear could send telepathic verbal communication. There was a lot more to the dream than that, but that part stood out the most.
Another thing I want to mention about my travel and packing dreams is that in many of them I'm living in a dormitory or group bunkhouse situation. This makes me wonder if I'm getting together with a lot of other dreaming, sleeping people on the "astral plane" or whatever you want to call it.
For instance, the group in last night's hike with the bear were all staying in a large rustic-but-upscale lodge with a bunk room--- it was like a high-end summer camp for adults. (We even did arts and crafts projects using really cool compact sewing machines in the main lodge room . LOL) This was a relatively low-stress dream and kind of fun, too.
@sistermoon I feel as @raincloud stated, that these dreams indicate you are guiding people below your conscious state. It could be happening while you sleep or while you are awake, but you remember if when you are sleeping. You would fit the true meaning of light worker!
Since the imagination can travel instantly with zero time lapse, (as shown in the phenomenon of quantum entanglement) you appear to be helping people who need the kind of help you can give. It is such a beautiful thought to imagine your working like this around the world
I have come to realize that spirit guides aren't only just angels without bodies. They are living people too, people who are guiding others. Like you.
When someone needs healing, I, in my imagination, send angels to those people. I then see the angels around them, doing very specific helpful things. Later I sometimes find out after telling them what I saw that real people did those healing helpful things for them. They might take the person in their lap, if that is what they needed, or arrange their bodies in a more comfortable position and give them some kind of body work. Or they just stand over them, casting a warm net of protection all night long. These visions of mine have great specificity and they later often come true. When we meditate every Wednesday during the Circle of Light, we have traveled in our minds to intensive care hospital rooms where we helped the sick who are alone, especially during the height of Covid. We help them not to feel alone and to feel loved. We have sent the healing too. Some of the participants in the Circle have said they kept seeing that person for a few weeks, saw their progress and when and if they recovered.
As for travel, I've had dreams of being in airplanes but I believe they were about being too much in my head, as in up in the air, lol.
I tend to have remote viewing dreams, where I'm witnessing something happening somewhere, sometimes near my home, and sometimes in another part of the world.
I had a dream a few years ago that pops up in my mind right now, in which I was witnessing an act of violence in another country on a person. It was truly awful. I knew I was really there, watching from a distance. I was sending healing to this person, who I knew was a woman, taking some of the awful pain away. A week later, a female PM (Member of Parliament) was murdered by a terrorist in plain view on a London street. She had a friend with her at the time who could not save her.
After reading the news report, I knew it was the woman in my dream. I am sure I was there to send her healing, but also because I resonated with this woman, her spirit, her feisty nature, and her desire to help people. She would have been a mentor if I'd known of her in advance. I live in Boston and don't follow UK politics except on the big headlines in US papers. So it seemed so odd that I'd see her final trauma in my dreams. Perhaps she was a mentor on another plane.
@jeanne-mayell Oh, Jeanne, bless you for your presence and aid to the British Minister as well as all of the healing and energetic assistance you provide.
Dreams are best interpreted by the dreamer, I believe, because the his or her mind or spirit created the content in the first place. Ahem, nonetheless, I cannot resist the urge to explore the potential symbolism in your bear dream. Keeping with the "guide" theme, I thought of Ursa major also known as the Great Bear, or the Big Dipper, whose bottom two starts point to Polaris or the North Star. As you know, the North Star has served as a navigational guide for centuries.
Both the leash and the lick interest me. Perhaps you could put yourself in a soft, semi-meditative state and ask the bear what she (I want to say "she") wants to tell you. What could happen if you "unleashed" the bear? As for the lick, just poking around here...greater connection with the guide role? More communication as indicated by exchanging tongues? Anyway, you are the one who can best decipher the dream but again, it would seem that there is some information that wants to land in your in-box because theme and symbols persists.
Oh, and the bunk house does sound sound like you are on a team.
Another little synchronicity, Wikipedia describes Iridium as a "transition" metal.
I will stop here lest I get carried away....
@raincloud I love your interpretation and yes, @ana should choose the interpretation that resonates with her. But it's wonderful to see people's interpretations. The bear reminded me of the bear in The Golden Compass trilogy by Phillip Pullman. The bear guided the magical child Lyra on her odyssey to rescue children who had been cut off from their soul selves.
I also thought of how animals are helping to guide us now that humans have lost their connection to their own bodies and the earth. The craving during Covid for pets has been huge. Dogs are so sought after now that I dare not leave mine in the car when shopping for fear someone will break in and take her (something that happened in my town recently).
I had an interesting dream about a month ago that I’d like to share. I wanted to first mention that I have suddenly had a lot of dreams involving travel like others have reported. I have had a few predictive dreams in the past. I have had dreams with loved ones well have passed that were vivid. I recently had my first flying dream. I believe I connected with spirit guides in dreams over the past few months.
In my dream about a month ago, I was in a room with a group of people. They didn’t seem to notice me like I was working as help (like serving food or some sort of hired help that no one noticed being in the room).
Everyone was wearing either a blue suit or blue tie. At some point in the dream I became aware that blue meant everyone was a democrat. There was a women next to me that was a focus for everyone in the room. She looked just like Liz Cheney but she had a blue suit on so I kept staring at her trying to figure out if she was someone else who looked like her but never could figure out who else she could be.
There was a man planning to resign because he had a business opportunity and they were planning who would be likely elected to take his place. It felt very slimy and icky to witness this behind the scene view of democracy and plotting (I realized in the dream I was naive and of course they have strategy planning meetings) . I then noticed Kamala Harris laying across couch with her legs across someone and she was being treated like a queen. Her demeanor was arrogant and seemed to be very much in charge.
A reporter came in to interview the group and I didn’t like how that went with the reporter being treated with attitude when questioning the woman who looked like Liz (I can’t recall what was actual said).
I woke up bothered and confused by this dream. I am a democrat. Kamala was not my favorite contender when she was running for president but I always respected her and loved her presence in the senate. I thought of posting this awhile ago but I was trying to make sense of the Liz Cheney look a like or wondering if it was her. I also just didn’t enjoy what felt like a peak behind the veil.
I love this site as it has been a special place to come every night before I fall asleep to get connection with like minded people. I hope to share more. ?
