@ana whoa, that is a great dream. He's still alive, on his deathbed but still alive. And you were there to help. You chose to go to him to help him by addressing him and he looked at you. I love your dream. You are saving the democracy.
Wow, I was typing out a long dream I had last night but then the writing just disappeared. So I'm not going to report the first part of the dream, which was probably less transpersonal than personal, and just report the rest.
I was in some rural area that I understood to be in Iowa, possibly near Council Bluffs. It was a strange little community with some large, barn-like boarding houses. There was a sign advertising the hospitality of the the community with one of the amenities being "many newspapers". The dream became lucid. I understood that the timeline was a few years in the future. I started looking for newspapers that would tell me the exact date and current events. I kept willing myself to stay in the dream and stay lucid until I found some information. I was particularly interested to find out who was president. But all the newspapers were old. They were from many different times and locations, but nothing was dated past early 2026. Something was supposed to be important about January 11, 2026. The date came up in some headlines but I could not see what the story was. People seemed to enjoy reading the old newspapers regardless.
I began talking to some locals and asked why they didn't have any current newspapers. A man said "We don't need to know the date. Every day is new and the same. " I asked him what they would do about special occasions if they didn't know the date. He said it didn't matter. I said, "Even birthdays?" He just kind of shrugged. That last part is kind of Zen-- about being in the moment--, but it was unsettling how the people just did not seem to care.
After I woke up I searched "Important events January 11 2026" but I couldn't find anything momentous about that date. It precedes the start of the Iran war by about 5 weeks. I think perhaps the date has something to do with that, but I am not sure. Perhaps the decision to attack was made then.
