@seeker4, I've heard of Candace Pert. That's interesting about male/female brain development. I can't recall where or when I read the research I mentioned, but I remember it made me feel good; I no longer felt like a failed multi-tasker, LOL!
So, i will admit I made day 30 and Day 25 right after posting day 35, which was before the Fascist in Chief ended up in the hospital. I don't think 30 or 25 are in bad taste, but I will change course if things take a turn for the worse this week.
First, having been a single parent of two and male... I anecdotally believe women can multitask. What does Bill Mahr say, "I don't know it for fact... I just know that it's true."
Saying that Pert is actually correct in the overall concept, I am not sure how it breaks down by the sexes, or if it breaks down along lines that might have evolutionary reasons.
The term itself is usually applied to computers. Computers, like the human brain - though not nearly as efficient - basically switch out one task for another. It gives the illusion of multitasking.
The funny thing... the appearance of multitasking boils down to something like 60 bits a minute and how a person deals with it. The background noise of all our senses, external stimuli, internal organs and the like is about 1.3 MB a second or over three terabytes a month, and the part that is us in a sense is a mere 20 MB a month. ( this is a crude calculation )
Think about that - the brain is an amazing thing!!

This is a simple photo job with an abstract background added for attention. If the smaller letters are hard to read they say "The best part of waking up is drinking from this cup" - We aren't allowed to wear candidate masks or display any election paraphernalia at our ISD (never mind the army of Trump stickers on people's cars in the lot or the Trump masks I've seen on a few students over at the career tech center) - and my Biden mask was vetoed. But this cup - they can't stop me from drinking coffee - and drink it daily I do!
