Joe Biden was 10 feet away from the spitting and spewing Mango Menace, indoors, for an hour and a half just two nights ago. Additionally the orange family was unmasked in the audience. I am praying for Biden’s health and safety.

In Virginia we also have to show ID to vote in person -- I usually show my driver's license or voter card.

This year I dropped off my absentee ballot into a drop box.  There was an election officer next to the box, but she wasn't checking any IDs.

So far the Bidens have tested negative.  It will be a VERY long 2 weeks for them, and well whole world.

En light of what is happening with the President, The Biden campaign just announced that they are pulling all negative ads and are only going to run positive ones.

@deetoo I’m Virginia too. I’m walking my overly prodigious arse and voting in person on Monday. I’m 5th district and it has been heavily gerrymandered.  May the blue wave prevail.

@moonbeam

This is how I see it too. He finally had a retirement with his beloved family around him. He finally had money. He reluctantly entered the race and he knows he could have lived out comfortable years with family rather than what he is doing.

I feel he is a reminder of norms we lost or gave up and is also the bridge to the future. In his age he doesn’t have the ego or need to prove anything. He has pulled in the ideas of others. In our disrepair will be opportunity. New ideas will be more acceptable if he can get them through Congress.

@moonbeam  I'm laughing here since I'm also 77.  Let me tell you that you are absolutely right.  I used to multitask like a champion.  No more.  I used to put in long hours nearly everyday.  No more.  I have adorable identical twin grandsons whom I love to be around, but I cannot handle the energy for even a full day.  During my last medical telephone conference, I complained about not having the drive to exercise as much as I used to.  My doctor replied, "Well Sharon, you are almost 80."  And, that's the way it is.
