I am getting the message "Halloween will be a trick more than a treat", then I saw a Trump on an airplane during meditation today. I think Trump will leave by Halloween.

Today's post started with a photo that I ran through some hue adjustment features in Photoshop to turn into a "drawing" - which I then imported into Affinity Designer on my iPad and "painted". This one took FOREVER and I've reminded myself why I don't do this workflow unless I have to. Finished off with a "Folks" since our guy is known for that. Enjoy!

In an act of faith for tonight's debates, my husband and I voted this morning! Actually we had absentee ballots mailed to us, so we dropped those off at our county government center. They were also doing early voting. Our county in Northern Virginia is huge, as is the government center. The parking lot is massive and was packed with cars. The people waiting in line to vote literally wrapped around and throughout the lot, ending at the entrance/exit to the highway. It was a beautiful sight! From what I could see, everyone was wearing a mask. If you were handicapped or a senior, you had the option of pulling into a designated parking space and calling a phone number, when one of the poll workers would come out to your car so you could vote from there. On October 14th there will be additional locations available for early voting and absentee ballot drop off. One of the poll workers at the Center told me that on the first day of early voting, people were waiting in line for 4 hours.
