Honestly, my intuition is completely out of whack today. I've got nothing on the results. And while I'm comforted by the 538 projections and most (not all) of the maps on 270 to win, I'm so glad I had the foresight to take tomorrow off. It's going to be a late night. Here's hoping Florida can pull it together and make Pennsylvania irrelevant.

Just as I suspected, it is getting rough in my neck of the woods. I heard reports earlier this am that the voter intimidation has started and that 3 people have actually been arrested by 10:00AM EST this morning. I do know that groups of us, shared and took screen shots ,of who to call and when with the slightest problem or questions and who to call if the intimidation started. I am under no illusion that it is stopped. I still feel the need to "buckle up" for a rough ride the next few days.
The children at the border who still don't know where their parents are after Trump separated them and locked them in cages? Yep. Very good reason.
Personally, I can name many reasons why we should vote Trump out, but the sad fact remains that I could list them for the rest of the year and still not cover them all. Also, I think poor Jeanne would have to devote a new forum page for that topic alone. Sad, but true.
I'm not really concerned about Biden's safety. The secret service knows what its up against and has already made Biden's home a restricted airspace. These guys are the best in the world at doing their job. To be completely frank on the matter, I'm sure just as many people wanted to kill Obama because he was black and a few crazies wanted to get rid of Trump too and we never heard of any incidents even coming remotely close to being successful. I have full trust in the service to keep him safe.

“WASHINGTON — General Motors abandoned President Trump’s battle to nullify California’s fuel economy rules meant to curb global warming, the strongest sign yet that corporate America is moving on from Mr. Trump and adapting to an incoming Democratic administration.
The company also signaled that it was ready to work with President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr., who has promised swift action to reduce climate-warming emissions in the auto sector.
“President-elect Biden recently said, ‘I believe that we can own the 21st century car market again by moving to electric vehicles.’ We at General Motors couldn’t agree more,” Mary Barra, the General Motors chief executive, wrote in a letter Monday to leaders of some of the nation’s largest environmental groups.
Ms. Barra said her company, one of the largest automakers in the world, was withdrawing its support for Trump administration litigation that seeks to strip California of its ability to set its own, strict fuel economy standards, and she urged Toyota and Fiat Chrysler to do the same.“
