Joining you in that. Asking that Archangel Michael guard and protect these defenders of our Constitution and our people.  Guard them and their families and friends and us and protect us from the havoc they would wreak.

The other day when we did our meditation, and several of us felt and saw ArchAngel Michael, I then listened to my favorite YT folks and noticed that several commenters on their posts also felt Archangel Michael that day! So many people seemed to have the same vision!

The backlash of Romney has begun, at least from Jr.

He is calling for the Senate GOP to expel Romney.

I just want to remind people of something.  If my reflections is correct, our community has consistently predicted big things happening with Trump, not so much in January/Feburary, but in the March/ April time frame and again in June,

Beware the Ids of March.

We have a good track record!  So much can happen between now and then.  So many people in the know who have been on the fence might decide it is time to speak up.  Then there are the NY courts. to look toward.  Lastly, there will be many independent and non-trump republican voters who will want to vote for democracy in Nov.

It isn't over.

I just wanted to kick this post for anyone feeling despair.  Especially the good track record comment.

One of the things I love about this site is that Jeanne always leaves the predictions up.  People who don't have good track records take them down!  There are still many shoes to drop from the slimy caterpillar that is T & the GOP.  Go back and read the predictions for the next few months if you need cheering up. Remember that the traitors want you to feel hopeless and full of despair. And don't forget the words of famous patriot John Paul Jones, who, when commanded to hand his ship over to the British, said, "I have not yet begun to fight!"

Greetings heroes.

The recent Gallup poll is unimportant. Doesn't feel accurate to me. Flawed.

Let the GOP have their little ego celebration. It's all about to implode on each and every one of them that are backing T.

Thanks to Senator Romney for his courage. It will prove to be a smart decision in the long run. And it will make Ts head explode for the rest of his miserable life.

Can they do that? He's an elected official! So far I'm seeing that expulsion of a senator requires 2/3 of the senate to vote for it.

If you mean they would just expel him from the GOP -- maybe this is how that new centrist party starts that people here have been predicting.

@jeanne-mayell, I thought the attached was an interesting piece on Romney's reasoning to convict T.

I will never understand, though, why he allowed himself to be played by the Orange One when T invited Romney to meet with him about the Sec of State position.

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2020/02/romney-impeach-trump/606127/

He must have really wanted that position, and maybe had been thinking he could serve as a voice of reason in the administration. Kind of like the motivation of "Anonymous" -- to protect the nation from the whims of a manchurian president.

Good question and one I don't really have an answer for.

People would be livid if the tried in the senate.  I can't imagine that ever happening...oh wait, I have discovered over the past few years I apparently have no imagination.  I seem to be saying that "I can't imagine they would"  every. single. day.

He is stirring the pot. If he makes Romney the bad guy, people forget that Trump WAS actually impeached .  Now Daddy can't say it it was unanimous decision on the Republican side.

Thanks.   There is hope.  I believe there is more to come.

You know, each morning we wake up,  we can take comfort in the fact that we have moved  one day closer to him leaving office.  I don't know when, I don't know how, but each day is a step forward.  I am picturing that day filled with such radiant light it blinds the eyes and fills our thirsty souls with warming love and joy.

Each morning one day closer.

Adding that this community is such a true blessing.  I also don't know where I'd be without it.  I do know I am supposed to be here though.  Thank you Jeanne and all of you who make this a beautiful place.

I will not happen, as things are too partisan right now and the DNC would never go for it, but if Romney runs against Trump as the Democratic candidate, he would win in a landslide. Dem voters would still vote for him just to get rid of Trump and all the real conservatives(not this demonic mutation that the GOP has become) would be right there voting for Romney with them.

I'm getting it will not happen. It's just Jr. being a blowhard.

Exactly, the vote to remove was "bipartisan".  The vote to acquit was not.

It can't happen soon enough.  The Treasury Dept., the same one run by Nazi yes-man Mnuchin, who has fought tooth and nail to keep all of T's records secret, willingly and at warp speed, just announced he is complying with the rethug's request for Hunter Biden's private records.  The authoritarian quest for vengeance has begun.

Pelosi said T appeared "sedated" at the SOTU.  Gotta love her.

You’ve got people on both sides commenting on Pelosi’s action of tearing up T's SOTU address, including some liberal pundits who thought she was “going down to his level."  Give me a break!

When asked by journalists about her action, Pelosi replied that she extended a hand of friendship to him, to welcome him as POTUS to the Peoples' House – and that it was also an act of kindness because he looked to her “like he was a little sedated,” adding “he looked that way last year too.”  Pelosi said the fact that he snubbed her and didn’t shake her hand had nothing to do with her action.  She said that she read the compilation of falsehoods, and ¾ of the way through she thought -- there’s got to be something shown to the American people that this is not the truth.  Pelosi said that T shredded the truth in his speech, and he’s shredding the Constitution in his conduct, so she shredded the “State of His Mind” address.

God, I love that woman.

@polarberry, I'm grinning.  After I posted this, your post came up with your comment on Pelosi -- we were 3 minutes apart!

I rest in comfort knowing, that with all the recent craziness in the Senate aside, the Laws of Science are removing him for us. His dementia is noticeably getting worse daily.

I agree ... the short careful steps and effort to speak coherently.. the increased mental deficits. Karma is coming for him as surely as it has come for Rush Limbaugh. No medal awarded has ever been less deserved and forever tainted with the brush of white supremacy, sexism, homophobic grandeur with which it was presented to the obviously bloated trashed out body of the man. That medal will not prevent any pain, promote any healing and be cold comfort as the childless man dies a slow painful death full of drs visits, chemo, radiation and mind altering drugs. Stage 4 lung cancer? has already spread metastases throughout his body including his brain. It came to my mind as I was semi-awake and dozing was that as much as the propaganda machine was grinding last night? Nothing will stop the march of his disease and looming death thus making him a living symbol of the fall of current patriarchal white society in its waning and numbered days. Little does Impotus know.... he was looking at his own future....sick...alone....and loved by none. Both will be noted in history as Imposters.

I can't express how much I am rooting for the Laws of Science!

I would never willfully wish a horrid disease on anyone, and dementia is horrible, but the fact is he has it and he and the rethug enablers are putting all of us, and the world in grave danger for this one man.  Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio said, in an article I read yesterday, that privately, the rethugs know he is crazy and unfit, but they are all too terrified of him and his Russian Sith overlord to speak up.  The dirt he/they have on all of them must be some serious sh*t.  I wish the media would run non-stop coverage about all of their involvement in Ukraine instead of the stupid stuff they focus on.

Ques for you and everyone else here. (before I ask let me preface I do not predict death) I just got a bad feeling when I looked at him at the SOTU. My feeling was he was not just sedated. My husband and I both said to one another (at the same time), "OMG, is he going to even be around much longer?" He just appeared much sicker than I thought.

Thoughts?

Well, he certainly doesn't seem well. He's deteriorating, for sure. I agree with everyone who says he has dementia and/or will be suffering a major health event at any moment. Problem is, not soon *enough.* (Not a prediction, just a complaint). Not the most charitable thing for me to say, but where I used to have pity for him (since he seems so pitiful), I've run out. I should probably take a break from following the news, etc. I feel like my soul needs a shower.
