For anyone who has seen T’s children and son in law in jail there is a story going around that The Senate Intel believes that Bannon, Kushner, Hope Hicks and Donald Jr believed they misled the panel in the Russia investigation.
The panel consists of Republicans and Democrats. So this is not one sided. This letter was dated 7/2019. In it they sent additional list of concerns to congress, Mueller and other prosecutors about the Russia investigation.
I bought the Bugs Bunny stamps too! They're HUGE, they take up half the envelope. :)
Not to seem politically shallow, but these Bugs Bunny stamps are a ' must have '.... too cute!
I need them, I want them, and first thing in the morning, they will be mine ... ???
@ghandigirl and @stargazer,
I have a special childhood connection to the postal service and what it represents. As a young child I was raised to send thank you notes whenever I would receive a present. I fondly remember choosing the right card, applying the stamp, and excitedly placing it in the mailbox. The stamp felt very "official," and I felt so grown up doing it.
In this day of technology with the availability of emails, text messages, and social media postings, I still send out cards whenever possible. I love choosing the right card (for birthdays, it's often a funny one), writing a personal note, selecting the right stamp for the recipient (yes, I keep different ones around!), and mailing it out.
Just yesterday I mailed a birthday card to a good friend. The first-class stamp that features Bugs Bunny disguised as a mermaid in a blonde wig, cracked me up! Understanding my friend's sense of humor, I just knew that she would love it too.
It might seem trivial, but it gives me joy. When you mess with the post office, you mess with that direct, and often personal, connection to the rest of the world. We need them in our future.
Poor Trump things are getting worse: Breaking News The senate intelligence committee has released a 1k page report that the Trump administration obstructed its investigation with “novel claims” of executive privileges. And it also states that Trump campaign wanted Russia help.
The timing of this fits with the transit of Saturn station opposite Trump's natal Venus that begins today and runs through October 22.
Then Pluto comes in to oppose Trump's natal Saturn from October 4-December 23.
So from October 4-October 22, both astro influences will be at work on Trump.
It will be interesting to track his fortunes during this period.
I don't know much about astrology. I enjoy astronomy and have a telescope, but I don't know much about astrology other than I am a Leo with a rising Leo and Libra descending (whatever that means?! I guess it means I am born crazy?!)
To someone who doesn't know Pluto Conjunctions and oppositions of planets into natal signs and so on, what does your finding on Trump's astrology mean exactly for the weeks of October 4-October 22? I have my own theory based on politics that one or several "October surprises" will hit by then and serve to plummet Trump's popularity to the point that he may be pressured to "resign due to health problems" to avoid losing "bigly."
October is important because most states have early voting starting either the first week of October or half way through October, so depending on where you live, there is an early voting period for a month or for about two weeks. Tennessee, my home state, has early voting from October 14 to October 29. In comparison, Alabama doesn't have early voting.
My point is this: Despite not having the full numbers, if Democrats, Independents, and Moderate Republicans take advantage of early voting during the weeks available to them (depending on where they live, of course), we may be able to send a message to the Republicans that there is simply no way for them to win even if every single Trumper voter came out on November 3, 2020. Once that becomes clear to them that Democratic voters are so angry that they are voting early to ensure that their votes count, then Republicans will visit Trump and (1) tell him that when he loses, they will not support his bid to stay in power and will even have him charged with treason if he tries, and/or (2) try to convince him to "step down due to health reasons" so that the fury of Democratic voters will calm down, thus allowing Republican voters to vote in mass on election day and giving them a shot of keeping their power.
Of course, this will only happen if everyone who votes for Biden takes advantage of early voting and/or mailing their votes early enough so that the Republicans are aware that the "blue wave" is gathering in strength and to show them that they can't win with Trump as their standard barer.
So....back to my question. Do the Pluto and Saturn movements bear out my theory of an "October Surprise" and the possible downfall of Trump and his followers? Because the timing looks similar to my theory, so I am curious.
I'm not a professional astrologer, and astrology imo is not about predictions but working with certain astral climates that help us grow, if we choose to do so, and that sometimes can manifest as events in the physical world.
There won't be anything so definitive as a downfall of Trump's supporters, I don't think, because we still have the US Pluto Return ahead of us in early 2022 (churning up our country's dark side and bringing it to the light). So 2021 is likely to be turbulent, even if Trump himself is gone.
But in a nutshell: Saturn transits opposite to Venus are typically times when a person feels unloved, unsupported. This transit will be intensified because it is a station, ie, the energy of Saturn will be parked at 25-26 degrees Capricorn, applying sustained pressure to Trump and his relationships, both personal and professional. Saturn and Venus are not well aligned in Trump's birth chart, so any difficult Saturn transits to his chart will trigger the relationship challenges he was born with.
Pluto transforms everything it touches and Pluto transiting opposite Saturn is like a stress test revealing any structural weaknesses in our lives. (It can also help us, under duress, to build or rebuild structures that require a huge investment of effort and sustained focus.) Difficult Pluto transits often have a life-or-death feeling to them, of forces greater than the individual at work. Pluto is inexorable.
Hope this is helpful.
So, basically, if Trump recognizes that there may be unfavorable factors in his life and works in a way to mitigate the damage (aka act Presidential), he should get through ok? But if he continues his usual "I am Trump and can do anything I want" attitude, karma will prevail because of his refusal to adapt to the current issues?
Sounds about right. Let's hope he is sent packing sooner rather than later. Because I doubt the military will stand by if he tries to use them to support his power grab. I certainly wouldn't support anyone who stood by and allowed a foreign power (Russia) to pay my enemies (terrorists) bounties on my head without saying....anything?! Even the weak "I don't know if it is true, but if it is, Russia will pay" would be better than what he has done!
Thanks for the explanation!
@laura-f thank you for that reply. I think most people here (the EU) know that that's the situation, but that makes it even more sad. Americans are so proud and can do SO much! It's a pity that certain powers do not let America shine as it could.
I wish you could move too, Laura, I'd welcome you with open arms ❤️
All of you struggling and fighting the orange monster, but also the inequality that has been part of the US for so long, we're with you in Europe. We cannot vote, but we can work with you in spirit.
@Eva, welcome! I am not one of the people who have seen him begin ill, so I cannot answer your question, but visions do come in mysterious ways.
If you get a chance, watch some of the interviews this man, the ex-senior official from DHS, Miles Taylor, is doing about Twitler.
The orange peach of a man thought gassing migrants was policy, and was "great."
There's just no bottom. He is a despicable individual.
T former campaign Boss Bannon has been arrested for crowd funding “build the wall” was not used to build the wall. He and others used the money on themselves.
The charges came for SDNY federal prosecutors. I wonder if Barr will help him?
T works with only the finest people.
Smart decision by prosecutors. If Barr and/or Trump intervenes, then it looks like a conspiracy between them. This also weakens Trump's base support. After all, why shouldn't the money be used to build their beloved wall? If Trump defends them, then he undermines his position.
The timing is excellent. This distracts Trump somewhat from Biden's big night tonight and further casts a shadow on the Republican convention next week.
Trump is in a delimma. He can help Bannon and risk conspiracy and corruption charges in the future (as well as risk losing a few of his Wall supporters) or he can remain silent until after the election and hope Bannon won't flip on him.
Another strike against Trump. Just minutes after Bannon was arrested, the federal judge in his tax case just ruled that Trump's taxes need to be turned over to DA Vance.
What does this change? Probably nothing, as Trump will most certainly appeal. But it is another headache for him, another prolonged legal battle for his lawyers, and yet another small crack in his reservoir of invincibility.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
The dam has sprung multiple leaks, and a blue flood is coming to cleanse the country from the filth!
Sleep well, Trump and McConnell. You will need it in the months and years ahead.
@allyn From your lips to God's ear!!!! Trump has long gotten by by engaging in long drawn out court battles... sooner or later... he WILL run out of motions and appeals and have to stand to FACE THE MUSIC.. He has danced to the music long enough that the piper wants to be paid!!!
T's negative astrological aspects from now through the end of the year have already caught up with him. They indicate major disappointments and feeling frustrated. It will be a miserable rest of the year for him. Karma has arrived.
Judge rules against Trump in tax records subpoena fight - CNNPolitics
"The ruling by US District Judge Victor Marrero follows a landmark Supreme Court decision this summer that appeared to set up potentially lengthy delays on subpoenas for Trump's records.
Yet the ruling on Thursday snaps attention back to the ongoing criminal probe of Trump's business dealings, and revives the possibility that Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance could reach the records before the presidential election.
"Justice requires an end to this controversy," Marrero wrote."

That is why I believe that if there is a large democratic turnout during early voting and if Trump's poll numbers continue to tumble, I believe he very well may quit the election before November 3, 2020.
Now, hear me out. I know he is stupid and stubborn beyond belief, but please consider the following:
1. Trump truly fears being a loser. Probably much more that being a quitter. He has won the majority of his legal battles (mostly contract disputes) because he delays the proceedings for so long that the other side eventually runs out of money and/or quits. Delay is the only way he can truly win. So while he tries to cultivate this persona of him being a fighter, the truth is that he merely delays the case in hopes for a settlement or to outwait the opposition. You will find very, very few case where Trump has actually won on the merits.
Trump hopes to delay the election results somehow, but his efforts keep falling apart. Even his current efforts to hurt mail-in voting will hurt him because it will encourage Democrats to flood the voting booths even with Covid 19. Don't believe me? Look at what happened in Wisconsin, when Republicans tried that this year so they could keep their conservative majority on the state bench. It didn't work out so well for them.
Methinks that if Trump finally sees that he will lose "bigly," then he will make up some sort of excuse (aka-"bone spurs") to try to resign gracefully. This way, he won't be labled a "loser." Also, when the Republicans lose the Senate, he can claim "well, if I was still on the ballot, the Republicans would have won. Too bad I had to resign, of course."
2. Trump may also resign because he believes that he does, then the Democrats won't go after him criminally. Remember when Republicans threatened to investigate Hillary on numerous fake charges then mysteriously stopped mentioning them after she lost (with the exception of the usual "lock her up" chants from the Trump supporters.) Trump may believe that he can pardon himself, his family, and his friends, then resign and the Democrats will lose interest.
NOT. GOING. TO. HAPPEN.
Seriously, with as many enemies as Trump has, do you really think the Democrats and their allies will let Trump get away with anything. First of all, Trump actually committed real crimes, while Hillary did not. Say what you will about her, but if Hillary truly committed crimes, then why did the Republicans drop their investigation? Because it was always meant to slander her, nothing more. (McCarthy actually admitted to this.)
I hope Democrats will be different. I hope they continue to go after Trump and his allies after he leaves office. They need to send a message to Republicans that Congressional investigations are meant to be actual investigations and not a political tool to slander opponents. While some fear that it will become the norm to punish political opponents after they leave, I hope that it will actually send a message to Republicans about the dangers of instigating false political investigations, least your opponent will actually use your own tactics against you when it is their turn. In other words, I hope that Democrats go after Trump and his allies so harshly that Republicans will hesitate to pull another "Benghazi."
But even if Democrats try to do the "let bygones be bygones" approach happen (which I hope they don't), then I hope New York will continue to go after Trump and his allies. Even if they can't go after Trump for some odd reason, they can go after his children and make it to where Trump's financial empire goes bankrupt. Vance seems to signal that he is in this for the long run, and he will not hesitate to take Trump to prison if need be.
3. I am convinced that there is something out there so toxic that it will ruin Trump somehow.
I don't know what it is. It could be his tax records or an incriminating tape of some sort. Maybe proof he really did rape women or something even evangelicals will hesitate to support (like proof he paid for multiple abortions). But Trump will not want that information out.
If Democrats have that information, they will likely release it in October. Probably by mid-October, to take advantage of the early voting and yet leave little time for Trump's allies (aka-Fox News) to come up with a counterattack (aka-lies) to stop the damage.
Trump may find out about this in advance and meet with Democratic leaders. In exchange for not releasing the information to the public, he will agree to resign and not contest Biden's ascension. Pelosi may agree only as a means to ensure that Trump doesn't make it to November 3, 2020 and then try to challenge the results. Remember, the Constitution is very, very clear. If the election is somehow delayed and/or the results are contested, then Pelosi becomes acting President on January 20, 2021. No exceptions.
Now, Trump may try to have Pelosi "removed" (aka-killed) before that happens, but then the Democrats will simply elect a new Speaker of the House, which would be a Democrat. So he is screwed regardless, as Pelosi and any other Democratic Speaker will not hesitate to throw Trump in house arrest while awaiting his trial for treason (which carries the death penalty, by the way.)
So I expect Pelosi may have a card up her sleeve, and Trump might suddenly quit due to health reasons in October. But we will see how it plays out. For the sake of out country, I hope he does, and the long orange nightmare would be over. Recovery will take a long time, of course, and his followers will certainly cause problems, but it would be far better for the country if Trump is not President by election day 2020.
