Wow. such powerful uplifting words from a modern day prophet.

As much darkness as there is still, I believe that many have turned the corner and are now burning more brightly then they ever have before.

Today my conservative BFF* sent me a WaPo editorial

That editorial is from a Republican fellow of the American Enterprise Institute-- a conservative think tank .  It is in their interest to write stories that will get people to question Trump's opponents' fitness for office.   The only person who is mentally unfit to be president is Donald J. Trump. So wondering why we would be giving something coming out of the likes of the American Enterprise Institute so much press here?   Fox News and the White House press office will be spewing out plenty of that so we don't need to.

An example of a statement grounded in white privilege:
"It's horrible that an innocent black man was killed, but the property damage has to stop."

What it SHOULD say:
"It's horrible that property is being damaged, but the killing of innocent black people has to stop."

The Dalai Lama is indeed a modern day spiritual conduit and a beautiful ancient soul.

Though I'm not a Tibetan Bhuddist technically, I do have a profound respect and love for him, and wish I could have posted his picture. He just radiates light, and is a joy to behold.

This morning I was so sad to see the news of the  murder of David Dorn in St. Louis last night.... a black man and retired police captain who was gut-shot trying to protect a friend's store from looters. Apparently no arrests have been made, and no one knows who did it ... he was found dead on the sidewalk. (USATODAY source).

How many more? The suffering continues. It's good to look at things from different directions to avoid knee-jerk reactions of anger, so just sayin'....

The Tibetans have been going through oppressive violence since the early 1950's and have managed to retain their faith. The Dalai Lama is a wonderful emmisary of strength and light. He raises the vibes wherever he goes.

@dhyanaji Okay this is what I read about Trump refusing to leave office:

If Trump were inclined to overstay his term, the levers of power work in favor of removal. Because the president immediately and automatically loses his constitutional authority upon expiration of his term or after removal through impeachment, he would lack the power to direct the U.S. Secret Service or other federal agents to protect him. He would likewise lose his power, as the commander in chief of the armed forces, to order a military response to defend him. In fact, the newly minted president would possess those presidential powers. If necessary, the successor could direct federal agents to forcibly remove Trump from the White House. Now a private citizen, Trump would no longer be immune from criminal prosecution, and could be arrested and charged with trespassing in the White House. While even former presidents enjoy Secret Service protection, agents presumably would not follow an illegal order to protect one from removal from office.

@suspira44  Agreed. Provided Biden wins the electoral college and is certified (which I believe happens in December) trump can go pound sand. Also, I don't see that he's got the balls to remain in the White House if he's not the winner. The bigger concern is that he and Barr will do anything, everything, to prevent the election from proceeding in an orderly fashion. Those two are cut from the same cloth. They're both about the same age, both from NYC, and both very much Archie Bunker types. Barr has some better education but the same authoritarian tendencies. Right now he's living his dream -- powerful beyond his wildest dreams. He's loving it.

One part of me really feels that trump's expiration date has passed, his presidency is effectively over, and Biden is inevitable, no matter how ugly his win might be. Another part feels that the darkest forces will stop at nothing to keep trump in power. However, what is happening on the streets does feel different, and I'm not sure that even Barr, Putin, trump, and their entire gang of thugs and degenerates can stop the tide from turning him out on his rear.

Oh wow, I just had a vision of Bunkerman escorted in handcuffs and charged with criminal trespass on January 22.

On a lighter note the soon to be ex Mrs Hanrrady just said “ it wasn’t his politics it was listening to him have phone sex every night with trump.  That puts a smile on my face!

@jeanne-mayell

That gave me good goosebumps! How wonderful.

I also wanted to share this story of a 29 year old black man whose family lived in the house and neighborhood for 54 years, but he suddenly saw his neighborhood become more gentrified and felt like he couldn't even go out for a walk (with everything going on now) in his own neighborhood. Shawn Dromgoole posted on Facebook and in the Nextdoor app that he was scared to leave his house alone in the wake of George Floyd's death. His neighbors in his Nashville community immediately stepped up.

If you are interested, here is an intriguing thread by "Uncle Blazer" on twitter. According to his bio, he's a lawyer who is playing close attention to what is happening with Trump and the role Russia is playing in our affairs.

In this thread, posted about an hour ago, he outlines why he thinks Trump is finished. I've heard this song and dance before -- he's finished! he's done for! -- which his why I am not getting my hopes up.

But I post it here in case anyone who reads it gets any intuition about whether he's legitimately onto something or whether this is much ado about nothing.

@sistermoon, I am VERY Interested!  In fact, when I read the twitter feed, I began to get more and more excited.  This is a major part of The Great Unraveling.  Between the eclipse coming up and Mercury Retrograde, I believe this time period in June will reveal so much of what we need to know about our current president, and the “current” will see a waterfall of leaking and information we have all been seeking.

My nephew was born with many challenges, as he was the product of a Viet Nam veteran sprayed with agent orange.  He is known in our family for his sometimes simple brilliance, and last November after the Read the Future night, I kept hearing him say, “When you’re dead, you’re dead.”  It was not listed as a prediction as I wasn’t clear on whether this meant our president or the GOP (or both).  This is the time period I heard it for.  This is going to be exciting.  Here comes the unmasking!

My personal name for our “acting” president is Agent Orange.  I appreciate a good metaphor.

@sistermoon Thanks so much for the share! Really relished reading the thread twice, as well his other tweets. Glanced through his followers - he has 101k of them - among them are some very prominent names Such as Rep. Eric Swalwell, Joy Reid , Jon Cooper, Patricia Arquette, @Team Pelosi (Nancy Pelosi’s political account). Uncle Blazer @blakesmustache seems very credible & the timing appears to sync with earlier predictions of harmful disclosures at this moment in time.

I had posted on Tuesday that I’d been feeling very agitated and couldn't calm down.  As Tuesday evening progressed and I heard the news about the deployment of the 82nd airborne, I could energetically feel that some in the military did not want to be part of this.  Immediately after I sensed that, my feelings of agitation and dread left and I felt peaceful.

Then this morning I had an "Aha!" moment.  I heard about many retired and current military officials who have come forward and are criticizing T's actions -- Admiral Mullen, General Mattis (remember everyone wondering when he would finally speak out?), Defense Secretary Esper, among others.  So I must have been tuning into their energies on Tuesday evening.

Unfortunately you’ve probably all heard about the unmarked militia patrolling D.C. yesterday.  They refused to identify themselves, eventually responding that they were working on behalf of the Federal Government and the DOJ.  Some carried rifles or were equipped with body armor and pepper spray canisters.  Two such clad security members said they were part of a specialized emergency response force run by the Bureau of Prisons — part of the Justice Department — who normally helps to maintain  security at correctional facilities.   Virginia Rep. Don Beyer stated that he was working on legislation to prevent similar actions in the future, writing that it was “unacceptable for uniformed federal officers policing constitutionally-protected assemblies to refuse to identify themselves to people who pay their salaries.”  Chilling.

@sistermoon. This is very, very interesting.  Will be watching with great interest.  With everything happening in our country, I had forgotten all about Burr preparing to issue the Senate report, just as he was taken down by Barr.  So many things are being hidden by Barr, but these things have a way of finding their way to the light of day.

Literally, one minute before I read your post, I drew my Thoth card of the day which just happened to be The Sun.  (I was feeling discouraged before pulling this card.). My read for myself was basically, "brighten up buttercup, there are better, happier days ahead."

Maybe that reading is for all of us.  Here is what Jeanne writes about The Sun:  "The Sun represents true joy and transcendence; joy, because we are children of the sun, and it feeds us, keeps us warm, and makes us happy; transcendence because the light awakens us, and being truth, makes us free.  The card represents the emancipation of the human race from old religious and cultural restrictions, like children happy playing on the beach."

It's been a tough 3 1/2 years, but I am willing to let myself hope again.

@jeanne-mayell

GOP senator Lisa Murkowski and T’s former chief of staff Kelly both show their support for Mattis and his rebuke of Trump.  The writing is on the wall. T Has lost support of the military and is now building a wall around the White House. He's terrified.

I realize that my prediction for May of "fade to black" has manifested in it's own surprising way. I love that part of being psychic. It's always surprising when and how it manifests.

His supporters are turning on him. It's the end for him, which is what I felt when I had my vision in early Feb.

Sending much love to all of you.

Interesting -- you reminded me of a short reading I did for myself this morning, which I had forgotten about until reading your post.

I did a three-card Thoth drawing: The Universe, 5 of Disks, 4 of Wands.

I understood that to mean the events of the world have caused us great anxiety, but we are not to fear, as these events -- this "great work" that has long been underway -- are nearing their completion and will result in a return to balance, order, and spiritual fulfillment.

I thought the reading was just a daily draw, but, as you said - maybe it was for all of us :)

Remember a few pages back, I lamented once again my GOP leaning friend, who I try my best to "bring to the light"? Well, this morning I finally composed a long email to her, with supporting links to articles in well established media (WaPo, YT, Kos, NYT, Atlantic). My key points were about white privilege, protests, BLM, Biden, Shitler, dementia, not falling for the tricks the Russians are playing on us. I basically addressed every inane thing she has sent me over the last 2 weeks.  I'm still not giving up on her, but today's reply from her has made my migraine return just a little bit. See what y'all think:

Meh
Joe Biden’s been kicking around the political scene since what, the 70’s? He’s never been much of a champion of anything apart from bolstering his own self worth-and that of the deeply troubled and unqualified Hunter (talk about White privilege.....)
Trump is a disaster. That said-let’s see who Biden surrounds himself with. I don’t believe Biden is the right candidate and I won’t vote for him if I don’t like his ticket. Nor will I vote for trump. My state typically goes blue so whatever.
The planet is in shambles, I give up. ?‍♀️

At the least, I will take the next week or so "off" from her and not interact. I can blame it on my migraine later...

@laura-f

Well, let's focus on the positives, I guess:

-- She admits trump is a "disaster." (This is true.)

-- She won't vote for Biden -- but she won't vote for Trump, either. (So, fine, then - stay home!)

-- Note that she hasn't written Biden off entirely; she wants to see who he "surrounds himself with." (I have a feeling that Biden will choose wisely when it comes to his VP pick, and, while it may not convince your friend, I do think he will prove that he is interested in moving the nation forward in the right direction.)

So, while I wouldn't say your friend has seen the light, she appears to be moving toward it, however grudgingly :)
