So has anyone seen the "Golden Trump" statue ? And what is your take on it?

I saw it and was immediately reminded of the Golden calf of biblical fame.

I think this one? Is half jest half worship... meant to poke at many.

Light vs. Dark. Hmm. My perspective- I agree that light requires energy. Dark is simply the absence of light. I disagree respectfully that anyone can dim our light. It is ours -as it is internal. We control it, not others. We decide when we are in energy saving mode,  when we choose moderate options,  & when we want to shine like the sun. It is true that we sometimes don't shine as beightly after being hurt by others-we are using our energy for healing.

Some may believe they can extinguish the light of others, but that is erroneous. Some believe that blowing out another's candle will make theirs shine more brightly. Again-not true. Their candle doesn't gain more lumens by such actions, it only gains more attention.  People will also note their actions for what they were in attempting to gain that attention. Others can block or obfuscate our light, but they haven't truly dimmed it. Such attempts don't hurt our luminosity, but they harm those who wish to share,  observe, or follow our light. Eventually they will be seen as the obstacle in the eclipse, it can't be helped. Remember that only we can defile ourselves with our words or actions. The words & actions of others towards or about us are reflections of those employing them.

For those of us who have seen more than our fair share of darkness, the lucky ones learn a much greater appreciation of even the smallest of joys or light. Perspectives are often permanently altered. Such blessings were hard earned, yet many still try to share their life lessons so others don't have to learn the hard way. That's what many of the kind lightworkers here do routinely. It is greatly appreciated by many of us.

@journeywithme2 I saw it and just laughed - at the ridiculousness of it in general.  At the reaction of the CPAC attendees shouting “Four more years!” And looking at it in awe.  And then I again felt sad for the people who seem to be so far down the rabbit hole that they can’t see the dangers they’re promoting.

Woke up this morning to this tune playing in my head: " Oh Oz never did give nothing to the tin man, that he didn't , didn't already have, cause never was the reason for the evening ... or the Tropic of Sir Galahad....."
We are calling forth what has and is .. already and always...been.

In case anyone has missed this; the GOP isn't even hiding it anymore. Their CPAC stage is in the shape of a Nazi symbol. https://twitter.com/b_masale/status/1365749477567590403/photo/1

Also, the center piece is a golden statue of Trump. What in the bible does that remind me off?... ? Seeing they claim to be the christian party they sure mess up the don'ts of Christianity...

This all scares me. It's like Europe in the 1930s all over again. Only this time it's the country with the largest military in the world:-(

@moonbeam. I think often they do things like that just for the shock value and immediate reaction they get from the press and people like us. I think they revel in our discomfort.

It's unusual for one to receive a high number of gaming-related predictions on the read the future night. All of them are related to Capcom. What can it mean? Are the readings related to my interests?

That's a good question and the answer is yes.  We automatically focus on the subjects we are interested in. I spoke about that during Read the Future Night when I was explaining that the psyche always needs a target before making predictions. I said that you can give your psyche a target, like Brexit, U.S. election, or climate in California or Australia.  But if you don't give your psyche a target, your psyche will default to whatever you are interested in knowing about.

@lowtide that might be, but it says the same thing: these are ppl comfortable with Nazi symbols and rhetoric. That is a problem and makes right-wing synonymous with, basically, evil. At least, to those whose families have gone through, and remember, the 2nd WW which are a lot of ppl in Europe.

I saw T’s speech yesterday and he said he “may beat them for a third time” I just ended up laughing.

I really hope he doesn’t run, for our sakes

@darren292

He is using this to make money.  As per Scarmucci...

“I think he’s going to run in 2024 because this is the most money that he’s ever made,” Scaramucci told Alex Witt on MSNBC.

Just imagine making $300 million off of these rubes that he’s conning after the election with his big lie” that the vote was rigged, Scaramucci added. “So he’ll run again in 2024.”

I hope not this time without hearing him or seeing his dam tweets have been sweet

@jessi1978 This sounds like another distraction from his taxes and the implications from it.

I was so disheartened by Trump's speech yesterday.

Yes, I feel that Trump running for 2024 would be good for Democrats.  Biden has been in for less than 50 days, and yet he has made so many great changes (not to mention that we have no breaking news from yet another tweet or public rally, something we have had to endure for four years.)  I feel that Democrats will unite against a Trump run, and many younger voters will rally with us.

But why must we?

Why do we need another Trump run where Trump has his rallies and convinces his followers to commit violence?  Remember all those people at the Wal-Mart in Texas who were killed by that gunman in Texas because he believed he was stopping the "invasion" of illegals that Trump keeps harping about? Or those people who died at the capital or at Charlottesville?  Trump has their blood on his hands.  I don't think we need another Trump run where he gets his followers to commit more violence.

I pray every day with all my heart that Trump gets what is coming for him.  Jail time, karma, something that prevents him from messing with our lives, and yet I feel so disheartened.  He has committed crimes and atrocities for decades, so why shouldn't he get away with it now?

I want him GONE!  I don't care how.  He can move overseas with his ill-begotten money and purchase an island, for all I care.  I just want him out of our lives, and for Trumpism to fade into irrelevance.  But looking at how he continues to hold onto the Republican party (and the fact they control so much of this country through gerrymandering and stacking courts in their favor), what chance can we possibly have against such evil?

I will never give up, but I really need some words of encouragement right now.

He is 74 years old, obese and has a very unhealthy life style. My bet is , he will not be around or not fit enough to run again. And remember there will be a lot of law suits against him.

And if he will run against Kamala , Biden will be 82 in 4 years. Trump is history, and he is just the beginning. I really think that this decade will deal with all these "dictators" .

We only need a few years to clean up :-)

Hi Everyone! Back after some time away. He's not going to run. He's saying he will run so he can complain any indictments are political and so he can fundraise. But he has something neurological going on and the long arm of the law is coming for him. I'm confident we washed our hands of him on a presidential stage.

I am completely unconcerned about him or any other R in 2024. They will cause enough gridlock in the Senate during the next two years that the majority of voters will be so tired of their crap, the D's will win almost by default.  That doesn't mean we can or should relax, but if we just keep the pressure on for another 19 months, we can watch them implode in the mid-terms. Party politics,  including on the D side, is on its deathbed, and we can bury it once and for all by 2028.

I do not read news about him. I will read about him only when the news is about his prosecution, illness, death, or fleeing the country.  I do not even write his or say his name, except as an adjective that describes people who act like him, as in T-like or T-er.

He also said he won’t create another party, but I’ve heard about other senators (republicans) considering doing that

@jeanne-mayell There are some serious issues facing the country/world.  Putting ZERO energy into he who shall not be named, seen, or heard.  It needs to go away.

Plenty of good stuff is starting to happen.  A new COVID vaccine has been approved and rates of infection are dropping.   The economic relief bill is making its way through Congress.  Good people are being confirmed for high government positions.  The US is rejoining the world at large to help solve climate change and other problems.

Let us use our energy to lift up, support, and encourage the good things!
