And here is Teri's assessment of the Dominion Systems lawsuits against Giuliani and Powell:
Dee sent me this in an email and I listened to the first half, now just finished it. Every now and then I think to myself "Randy Rainbow out did himself on this one" but seriously - this was so funny. And WTF - yes Randy WTF!! Randy Rainbow is so talented! lol ?
@jeanne-mayell I've been trying to find the graph drawing you did for your predictions back in 2014, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Do you have a link to it? I just saw a couple of YT videos about the stock market, and I wanted to compare what they said to our graphic vision. From what I remember, the "bottom" of your graph was approximately late spring to early summer 2021, and the videos I just watched seemed to be predicting an economic trend that would follow that pretty closely.
@tgraf66 Here is a detail of the timeline I got in 2014. The lines showed a combination of stress starting in 2017, where I wrote: Statue of Liberty in the Fog, water rising; and market craziness. The whole thing is posted in the forum under Timeline Predictions.
@jeanne-mayell Thank you. This is the one I was referring to. This drawing seems to indicate that it will hit bottom in the latter part of this year. The videos I watched (both well-known and respected financial advisers) were saying that they expect a market correction/crash in mid to late April if not sooner, with the implication that while it will be a shock, the full effects/meaning would not reach the public until a few months later (late summer).
I have been a staunch proponent of the SDNY indicting T and kids, but I seem to be reading more and more about how they have dropped the ball on doing so. Anyone have any thoughts or reads on this?
I've got no use for anyone like like Christie who spoke out against T only when they thought it would save their own ass, but surprisingly, I read Cohen's twitter feed. He seems like he is genuinely sorry and trying to make up for everything he did. Someone asked him today if he was concerned that nothing is being done (SDNY) and he said he is. He has told them all he knows so it makes one wonder.
I know there are a number of predictions about indictments, and I hope they happen. The criminality is staggering.
Anyone have any thoughts or reads on this?
I would guess that they're still going through his tax records. When there's that much fraud going on, it takes time to find it all, and I'd bet there's *years* worth of fraud. I'm sure they also want to be certain they've crossed all the T's and dotted all the i's and that the case is as ironclad as possible.
Re: SDNY. I would highly recommend reading "Hiding in Plain Sight" by Sarah Kendzior, or listening to the most recent episode of her podcast, Gaslit Nation. She has detailed a number of times how intertwined Cy Vance is with the T* multi-national crime syndicate, and that he will derail the T* cases from the inside. I've been following her for five years, and she hasn't yet been wrong about these people. She is an expert in authoritarianism and autocracy, and reports that the past four years have been text book.
@saibh grabbed the audio book from amazon. Now to choose the stress food to stuff while listening. ?
In regards to the Orange nightmare, I'm tagging @Allyn to ask a legal question. After they impeach T of his crime of Jan 6, can't they also charge him criminally? I don't get why not...? And for his mishandling of the virus causing so much death?
Here's a synopsis in NYT of the crime committed by T and those who are complicit:
@saibh Decided to stress clean vs. stress eat while listening to the book. If what she lays out is sourced, this is scary stuff. Is it sourced? Kitchen looks amazing.
Technically, you could impeach him again, but what would be the point? If Trump can't be impeached on something as straight-forward as inciting a mob to commit treason, then what are the chances of holding him responsible for his actions during the Covid-19 pandemic? Remember, some of his own co-conspirators (Cruz, Hawley, Graham) are also on the jury.
This impeachment trial needed to happen, but it is a trap. Democrats secretly don't want Trump to be convicted. They know that Trump will drive their own base to come out just as much as the Republicans, only now there are far more Democrats than Republicans in key areas.
You see, Republicans are planning to retake the House and the Senate using the playbook they used in 2010. They will try to stop Biden from passing laws, try to paint Biden and Democrats as too liberal, and use gerrymandering tactics to steal seats.
But this isn't 2010. This is 2022.
Republicans no longer stand for anything. More Trump scandals will come out, and Republicans will be painted as being his lackeys. Further, when Trump is not convicted and is able to run again, Democrats can use him as the perpetual monster that progressives, moderates, and Never Trumpers must unite against to destroy the Trumplicans.
Think about it: First, Biden is too smart to push a progressive agenda right now. He has too much to do just getting the country out of the mess that it is now, and that will take years. Also, with McConnell and Republicans pushing back on every single bill (even the popular stimulus bill) makes Republicans look like the problem they are. Why elect a Republican if all they are going to do is block bills? As to the argument of "we can't spend more money and have our children and grandchildren pay for it later," our children and grandchildren are starving NOW and won't have a future unless we do something about it (we can always cut the tax break the rich get to make up the difference).
So, Democrats will let Republicans save Trump. Then, Trump will be immersed in scandals with the Republicans suffering as well. Then, with the threat of a Trump comeback, Democrats will vote in 2022 and increase our lead in the House and Senate, finally making Republicans suffer nationwide loses. Then, without Republican obstructionism, we can really get to work.
So, yes, Trump can be impeached again. But Democrats will likely play the smart game and impeach him for the incitement only. Why give Republicans a chance to redeem themselves? Eventually, you run out of chances.
Also, while Congress may drop the ball, there is no reason why Washington DC can't charge Trump for his role in the incitement. Remember, many of the voters in the Washington DC district are Democrat, so there is no risk to the DA if he choses to indict Trump.
As for criminal charges dealing with Covid 19 from any jurisdiction, that is not likely to happen.
The best way to make Trump and his people pay is harass Trump with as many investigations and indictments as possible to ensure that he never has a moment's peace, vote every single Trump supporter out of public office, and convict as many of the inciters as possible to lengthy jail sentences so that they are made examples of for any future Trump traitors contemplating acts of terrorism.
My feeling for several weeks has been that the Senate R's will not vote to convict T, but all is not lost. Listening to Rachael Maddow tonight.... The SDNY is still working on their case, and in Georgia:
Georgia Prosecutors Open Criminal Inquiry Into Trump’s Efforts to Subvert Election

- Feb. 10, 2021
ATLANTA — Prosecutors in Georgia have started a criminal investigation into former President Donald J. Trump’s attempts to overturn Georgia’s election results, including a phone call he made to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in which Mr. Trump pressured him to “find” enough votes to help him reverse his loss.

and this:
Thank you for giving me another way of looking at the probability that IQ45 will not be convicted. I have been sick to my stomach these past few days just thinking that he would get away with this appalling crime. However, your analysis of other ways to look at this issue has made me feel better. All I hope and pray for is that the Republicans never have any power over this country ever again and the ones who helped with this insurrection are found out and persecuted.
Has anyone seen anything about gerrymandering? I read an article yesterday that voting districts are remade every 10 years and that the GOP controlled states will do this all in their favor. It would end up with 74 democratic districts and the rest GOP. That doesn't sound good at all.
@moonbeam Winning in 2022 is paramount to protecting our nation. The battle over redistricting/gerrymandering and who gets to control voting districts is real and it's major. The guys on Pod Save America talked about this the other day, and it was sobering. Pretty sure it was the episode, "Party of Q" ... here is a link to the episode, and if you scroll down, there are resources/notes: https://crooked.com/podcast/party-of-q/
