@polarberry

Rosenstein was a huge disappointment, but remember how he always looked like a deer in headlights....

He was for certainty being coerced and threatened, and was trying to protect his family. He had two daughters to see through college, + a huge new residence that he didn't want to lose along with his marriage. His sell-out was totally about his family, and trying to extricate himself.

I'm wondering how many Rethugs are (and have been) afraid for their families and their lives in stepping into Truth? The 'Mafia' machinations of T's regime should never have been underestimated, and hopefully will be revealed in the coming year ... to everyone.

@stargazer If you visit Twitter, I suggest that you check out Lincoln's Bible, who has the history and knowledge that prove the source of his mob-like actions is, in fact, the mob.  My spouse and I just watched a documentary on Mussolini and the birth of fascism.  The ex-prez-to-be uses the very same language of fascism in the exact same context.  How lucky we are that he lacks intelligence, stamina, youth, and resilience.

They are plotting more mayhem. My only solace is that I know the FBI and others are much more aware of what is happening that the public is allowed to know.  This article from the Guardian US about the My Pillow guy really made me want to smother him with one of his crappy pillows!!! he met with tRump today to discuss "declaring Marshal Law"  GRRRRRRR

There has been a lot of speculation here on the possibility of T-rumper being the actual reincarnation of Mussolini ...same style, attitude and even looks (just visualize T in a Fascist army helmet like Musso wore, with his jaw jutting out ... ?).

And remember Mussolini's demise when ousted ... hung from a streetlight post by the heels like a pig. Hmm.

@journeywithme2 If the US devolves into autocratic mayhem, it at least deserves something more sophisticated than "MyPillow guy" plotting with "Reality TV guy".

There are many side-by-side photo comparisons of Mussolini and Twitler. They could be brothers.

Many. I read an article yesterday where Rep. Jason Crow (D, Colorado) said he spoke with many of his Republican collegues, all "paralyzed with fear", some crying, terrified to vote for impeachment.

He said he told them, "welcome to the club," that many Democrats have felt that way for a long time because they have stood up for democracy, and that they expect the rethugs to do the same. Of course, only ten of them did.

I've got no sympathy for Rosenstein. Many others have had the courage to speak up and speak out.

Wasn't there an Anderson Cooper segment with Lindell where he held one of his pillows up to his own face and wouldn't answer any questions? Dude's off his rocker.

I am very anxious about the next week, so I am skeptical of my intuition right now.  I want to ask if anyone here is privy to a clear vision, and kind enough to share it.  I trust this site so dearly.  Thank you very much.

Isn’t it nice without Twitter we don’t have to actually hear from T. No crazy  2am tweet. It’s been so quiet. I wonder how his Twitter withdrawal has been?

@polarberry

I watched that Adersoon cooper interview live as it happened.

Anderson was fantastic and wouldn't let the slimeball slitter his way out of reality.

I wrote an article about the Mussolini connection three years ago.

@jessi1978, I assume he would have similar symptoms as people who are addicted to games. It is the same fix the brain craves: attention, power, instant gratification. I imagine his temper rises with every day. he isn't able to step back and solve things. He just rails and threatens, kicks things in anger.

Hopefully the US will get through these days without any more damage.

I’m confused. Can #45 pardon the Capitol rioters that have already been charged? Or does the fact that he’s awaiting a Senate impeachment trial bar him from doing that? Can one of our Constitutional scholars weigh in?

Yes he can pardon them because even though he was impeached, he has not convicted.  He has to be convicted to lose his pardoning power. (per Lawrence Tribe Constitutional Professor)

@lenor which may be why the authorities are slow-walking investigations right now.  The fewer he can pardon, the better.

@coyote   An article in today's Washington post says that he can not and lays out why. I tried to share link to article but it was not allowed for whatever reason.

For me I am VERY grateful for the Lincoln Project. In addition, I watched the film they did about Trump, Unfit, and I found George very sincere. He shares his personal experience and I felt his pain.

I will always accept the help to defeat the corruption and I try not to judge another's past - as we all have one.  I do this very imperfectly.
